The photoactivities of colloidal semiconductors ?? which are good photocatalysts for H2 production by visible light radiation were studied. Using DHP(dihexadecylphosphate) and HMP(hexametaphosphate) vesicles as colloidal stabilizer various ?? were in situ generated on the vesicle surface. The photoactivities of the systems approached to that of CdS with Cd2+ increasing and that of ZnS with ?? decreasing. HMP showed better absorbance than DHP but DHP was better than HMP in relative fluorescence intensity. The wavelength showing maximum peaks of fluorescence intensity were 490nm for CdS and 350, 400nm for ZnS.
FGR 환경설비 시스템 보일러의 성능 및 배기 배출물에 미치는 재순환 배기의 영향

The effect of recirculated exhaust gas on performance and exhaust emissions with FGR rate are investigated by using a natural circulation, pressurized draft and water tube boiler with FGR system operating at several boiler loads and over fire air(OFA) damper openings. The purpose of this study is to apply the FGR system to a power plant boiler for reducing NO_(x) emissions. To activate the combustion, the suction damper of two stage combustion system installed in the upper side of wind box is opened by handling the lever between 0˚ and 90˚, and the OFA with 0 to 20% into the flame is supplied, as the combustion air supplied to burner is reduced. It is found that the fuel consumption rate divided by evaporation rate does not show an obvious tendency to increase or decrease with rising the FGR rate, and NO_(x) emissions are decreased, at the same OFA damper opening, as FGR rates are elevated and boiler loads are dropped. While a small quantity of soot is emitted without the operational conditions of boiler load, OFA damper opening and FGR rate, because soot emissions are eliminated by the electrostatic precipitator with a collecting efficiency of 86.7%.
반도체를 이용한 물의 광분해 : 콜로이드성 반도체촉매 ZnxCd₁-xS의 광활성

Photosplitting of water based on the photocatalytic chemical reaction using ZnxCd1-xS, where x is 1, 0.5 and 0, was studied. DHP(dihexadecylphosphate)vesicle, HMP(hexametaphosphate)vesicle as stabilizer and benzyl alcohol as a donor were used respectively. The hydrogen volume generated on the several conditions by CdS was highest and decreased with x value. The rate of hydrogen generation increased with benzyl alcohol addition. Hydrogen generation experiment showed DHP is the better stabilizer than HMP and xenon lamp is the better light source than sun.
유한요소법에 의한 헬리컬기어의 맞물림 강도특성에 관한 연구

In this study, the mesh stiffness characteristics of helical gears are evaluated by applying the finite element method. The bending and shear deflections on the contact line are obtained by the finite element method, and the contact deflections are obtained using the equation of Weber and Banaschek. Finally, using the influence method, contact ratio and load sharing ratio, the mesh stiffness characteristics of helical gears are evaluated. The results obtained could be summarized as follows: 1) By increasing the facewidth and helix angle of helical gears, a more constant mesh stiffness and transmission errors are obtained. 2) m_p+m_f〈2.0 The characteristics of this class helical gear pair are similar to that of spur gear. 3) m_p+ 1.0m_f≥2.0 This class helical gear pair gives a good performance as expected from helical gears.
보일러 FGR 환경설비시스템에 있어서 배기 배출물에 미치는 재순환 배기의 영향

The effect of recirculated exhaust gas on exhaust emissions under four kinds of nozzle tip with the different fuel consumption rate are experimentally investigated by using an once- through boiler with FGR system. The purpose of this study is to develop the FGR control system for reducing NO, in a boiler. Intake and exhaust oxygen concentrations, and equivalence ratio are applied to discuss the effect of FGR rate on exhaust emissions at various fuel consumption rates. It is found that NO, emissions are decreased, while soot emissions are increased owing to the drop of intake and exhaust oxygen concentrations, and the rise of equivalence ratio as FGR rates are elevated.
콜로이드성 반도체촉매 ZnS-coated Cds의 광활성에 관한 연구

This study is about the colloidal semiconductor to get the hydrogen as a substitutive energy. DHP(dihexadecylphosphate), HMP(sodium hexametaphosphate) vesicle as stabilizers and benzyl alcohol as a donor were used. The experiment of hydrogen generation on ZnS-coated CdS in DHP and HMP vesicles was performed. At ZnS = 0.4 ×10-4M, the hydrogen generation of ZnS-coated CdS catalysts on ZnS-coated concentration was maximum. ZnS-coated CdS catalyst showed absorbance independent on ZnS-coated concentration. Before irradiation, 2nS-coated CdS showed the fluorescence curves which are independent on ZnS-coated concentration but after irradiation, the intensities of fluorescence increased. DHP vesicle was better stabilizer than HMP vesicle in the view point of hydrogen generation.

Metallothionein(MT) messenger RNA was purified 28-fold from rat liver and was identified by its ability for the protein biosynthesis in cell-free translation systems. Total cytoplasmic RNA was extracted from the Cd injected rat liver by guanidinium thiocyanate method. The total RNA was further fractionated by oligo(dT)-cellulose affinity chromatography. For cell-free biosynthesis of MT-mRNA, rabbit reticulocyte lysate and wheat germ lysate were tested and established the optimal translational conditions for MT-mRNA. The incorporation of [^(35)S]-methionine into MT was a linear function of the amount of poly(A^+) RNA up to 1 ㎍. 4-5 mM Mg^(2+) and 75-85 mM K^+ were found to be the optimal conditions for the MT biosynthesis. Analysis of labelled product was carried out by SDS-PAGE and the gel was analyzed by H₂O₂ gel solubilization and fluorography methods. The activity of MT-mRNA was approximately, 16% and 30%, of the total RNA in the reticulocyte lysate and wheat germ system, respectively.
