In recent years there has been a surge of interest among linguists in the phenomenon of presupposition. The definition of presupposition has been attempted to make through the semantic account or the pragmatic account. In terms of the pragmatic accounts, the writer will try to analyze the presupposition of a sentence, with reference to the context in which the speaker and the hearer have a common belief. Finally, the following definition was made: "An utterance A pragmatically presupposes a proposition B iff A is appropriate only if B is mutually known by participants." The idea was to suggest that they can only be appropriately used if it is assumed in the context that the propositions indicated by the presupposition-triggers are true. After the survey of the presupposition-triggers, it can be inferred that the proposition carried by the triggers must belong to the common belief between the speaker and the hearer, and then can represent the old information features. In addition, the common belief was also classified in (56) in this paper. Refering to the cooperative principle and the discourse strategy, the presuppositions of various sentence structures were accounted for, with advantages of presupposition-trigger, within the pragmatic theory. In chapter V, the pragmatic account of presupposition was applied to the proposition carried by the Korean particles [-nun] and [-to], which indicates that the fact can be well explained that the particles [-nun], [-to] and others accompany the presuppositonal features and some of contextual features. In conclusion, it was investigated that the pragmatic account of presupposition is simpler and more inclusive than any other accounts.

Vibration analysis of through-the-width-split beams for predicting buckling load is investigated based on Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. In split region, each segment is considered as a solid beam. In this region, recurrence equations relating integration constants for adjacent interior regions are established by satisfying continuity conditions at junctions of interior regions. The results of present study are compared with those of experiment and their results give good agreement with each other. From the result, it was shown that local buckling phenomena could appear in fundamental mode, however, there exists load carrying capacity after this phenomena.
구-막대 시스템에서 CDM을 사용한 강인한 제어기 설계

All the controller design problem for linear time invariant dynamic system boils down to proper selecting the characteristic polynomials and numerator polynomials for concerned input-output relations. The propel selection of the characteristic polynomial is not so difficult, if only stability and response are to be satisfied, but it becomes complicated when robustness issue is added. The CDM could be a solution to this problem. CDM which is developed by Lipatov's conditions for stability and Kessler's standard form is easy to process of the controller design, especially it is more useful when the specifications are the settling time, rising time and overshoot. In this paper was used CDM design a simple but robust controller of the ball and beamsystem. The ball and beam system is highly nonlinear system. And it's linear transfer function used to design the controller. But CDM proved to be a solution to design even if there are some uncertainties like this linearized ball and beam system by simulations.
