      • Study on Leaf Production of Angelica acutiloba by Mulching with Polyethylene Film

        This study was conducted to produce effectively more leaves of Angelica acutiloba through year-round production system by using various mulching materials and polyethylene(PE) tunnel. Soil temperature by covering treatment was higher in PE mulching and PE tunnel than in rice straw mulching, especially showing the highest temperature in PE tunnel from April through May. Water content of soil was higher in PE mulching than in non-mulching. Leaf production of Angelica acutiloba through year-round production showed the highest in PE tunnel and root production in PE mulching. These results suggest that leaf production of Angelica acutiloba can be maximized through PE tunnel cultivation system.

      • Effect of Activated Charcoal on Growth of Zingiber mioga ROSC

        Activate charcoal (AC) can be utilized as a soil conditioner in agricultural crop areas. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of AC on growth and yield of Zingiber mioga ROSC as affected by different amounts of AC. The results obtained are summarized as follows. Growth characteristics including plant height and leaf length were the highest when activated charcoal added with 10-30%, suggesting that optimum amount of activated charcoal was ranged from 10 to 30%. Growth and enlargement of the root were improved by 10% AC with higher rhizome length and weight.

        Among the works of artists are those which touch our hearts without any particular reasons. It can be said that Frida Kahlo works belong to them. Why are our hearts touched by her works? It is, perhaps, because our unconsciousness is influenced by some elements inherent in them. What, then, is the unconsciousness? According to Carl Gustav lung, 'the unconsciousness is the depths of our minds that we all possess, but do not yet know of.' Are the unknown depths all understandable? To some extent, our experiences might render them so. Yet it is impossible to explain or to understand every aspect of them. In his studies of the unconsciousness explored by Sigmund Freud, lung maintains that the unconsciousness-that is, a sphere of our minds that we are unconscious of-comes from individuals' life experiences. He also maintains that the individual unconsciousness exists which is connected with each individual's own life, and so do basic and universal elements, in a deeper depth, which every man has, regardless of the differences of culture, race, the spirit of the times, or geographical condition. lung calls the depth consisting of these elements the collective unconsciousness. The individual unconsciousness is what matters to the individual life, whereas the collective unconsciousness is the sum total and accumulation of what mankind have repeatedly experienced throughout their history. Thus, lung thinks that the collective unconsciousness, a potential energy far anterior to the individual life, is bestowed upon human beings at the time when they are brought into the world. The collective unconsciousness is the root of the mind, and is like a seed in which lies the possibility of every creation and destruction. lung names many transcendental conditions with this possibility the archetype. In his observations of people's dreams and fantasies, Jung has discovered a mythical element which is repeated, in the same way, in the dreams and fantasies of people of different races and of various cultural and religious backgrounds. He has found that not only does this element appear in patients' experiences of their diseases-like in their fantasies, delusions or abnormal actions, in healthy people's dreams, and in thoughts of primitive men or children, but also it appears in dogmas or religious manners of higher religions, in the works of poets and artists, and in folk beliefs (Buyoung Lee, 『Analytic psychology』, Seoul Iljogak, 1978/1995, pp. 41-112). When prior conditions for the types of actions, which are all possessed by ancient and modern people as well as Western, Eastern and African people, are observed with the images that we can recognize, we call them archetypal images, which are found in dreams, folktales, myths, religious phenomena, spirits and works of artists, pathological phenomena, and so on. From studying the meaning of the archetypal images, we are able to infer the basic conditions for human actions behind it. It can safely be said that Frida Kahlo has transformed into her works all the things that have confronted her. Probably, in them lie the aspects of the collective unconsciousness including those of the individual unconsciousness. It seems that, as her life suggests, Frida Kahlo, without evading any hardships in her life, has expressed in her works all the things on which she has worked. This study aims at understanding what her works have shown from the viewpoint of analytic psychology.

        Ca 첨가한 AZ91 마그네슘 합금 용탕의 산화거동

        The effects of Ca addition on the liquid oxidation behaviors of AZ91 alloys have been investigated. The oxide layers formed on the molten Ca-containing AZ91 alloys were investigated by using scanning electron microscope and Auger electron spectroscopy in order to elucidate the effect of Ca additions on the ignition and burning of the molten alloys. The thermogravimetric measurements indicated that Ca-containing AZ91 alloys have good oxidation resistance. AES depth analysis revealed that the oxide layers on the molten Ca-containing AZ91 alloys consisted of several layers; the outer layer mainly consisted of CaO and the inner layer was mainly a mixture of CaO-MgO and Al₂O₃. The formation of protective CaO in the oxide layer was directly responsible for improved oxidation resistance of the Ca-containing AZ91 alloys.

      • 평균 유효 세율의 결정 요인에 관한 연구

        A number of empirical studies have used effective tax rate(ETR) measures calculated from financial statement information to examine the relations between taxes, firm decisions, and firm characteristics. Studies using the average effective tax rate to measure corporate tax (dis) advantage have played a critical role in tax legislation. Recent research, however, has questioned the effectiveness of the ETR for this purpose. Previous research on corporate ETRs identified three important findings : (1)ETRs vary across firms(industries), (2) ETRs change over time, and (3) variances of ETRs differ across industries. These findings were explained solely in terms of cross-sectional and intertemporal differences in tax preferences. All other factors were implicitly assumed to be unimportant. This paper challenged the existing explanation by deriving the ETR as a function of the marginal tax rate and two variables : tax preferences and (pre-tax accounting)income. The model demonstrated how changes in the ETR can occur under two alternative assumptions about the relationship between tax preferences and income. Specifically, when tax preferences and income are perfectly correlated, the model showed that changes in the ETR are caused solely by changes in tax preferences. In the absence of perfect correlation, however, the model indicated that both tax preferences and income are capable of causing the ETR to change.

      • 水球選手의 無酸素性 파워에 관한 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the Anaerobic Power and Blood lactate concentration of Water-polo players (University and high school) in incremental load exercise. Subjects were selected from Korean National College of Physical Education and Seoul High School, whose careers had been 3 to 4 years in water-polo. The study utilized isokinetic muscle contraction test and Wingate test by Cybex-Ⅱ and computerized bicycle-ergometer. The results of the study were as follows : 1. Anaeroble powers of water-polo players of the university and high school respectively were 57.62±3.99%, 48.8±8.74% in Extensor and were 45.5±7.30, 39.0±6.96% in Flexor by Cybex-Ⅱ. 2. Anaerobic powers between two groups by wingate test were 57.62±3.99KPM/S in College group, 50.58±3.17PM/S in High School group with a mean power and 68.49±6.19KPM/S in College group, 61.32±3.64KPM/S in High School group with maximal state. But It was a statistically significant differences (p <.001) between two group. Fatigue index of water-polo players of College and high school saparately were 31.14±2.36% and 37.96±4.56%. These data showed a statistically significant difference (p<.001). 3.Maximal blood lactate concentrations between College players and High School Players were 8.6±0.73mmoles/1 and 7.4±1.88 mmoles/1, revealing a statistically significant difference (p< .01) in 3 minute recovery. And recovery ratio respectively are 64.4%, 62.9% in not statistically significant difference at 10 minute of recovery. 4. Correlation coefficients between endurance ratio of extensor, flexor and maximal blood lactate respectively showed 0.872, 0.804 for water-polo player of univ. and high school. Between means, maximal values of wingate test and maximal blood lactate are 0.849, 0.860.

        지역학으로서의 독일학 육성을 위한 정보자료의 디지털화와 활용방안에 관한 연구

        In dieser Arbeit wurde vor allem versucht, den Blick auf zwei Punkte zu richten: Erstens sollte das Forschungsvorhaben, das im Rahmen eines zweija¨hrigen Projekts unter finanzieller Unterstu¨tzung des Koreanischen Research Foundation (KRF) durchgefu¨hrt wurde, in grobem Abriss vorgestellt werden. Zweitens werden die Probleme skizziert, die wa¨hrend der Durchfu¨hrung des Projekts auftauchten, und aus denen sich schließlich unmittelbar einige Verbesserungs- vorschla¨ge ergeben. Das Projekt hatte die Aufgabe, ein auf digitalisierten Daten basierendes Informationssystem u¨ber Deutschland zu erstellen. Das System der Wissenschaftsinformationen, das in der vorliegenden Arbeit vorgestellt wurde, wird beispielsweise aufgrund seiner umfangreichen Informationsdaten dem Fach Germanistik zur weiteren und vertiefenden deutschlandeskundlichen Forschung von großem Nutzen sein. Daru¨ber hinaus aber kommt es auch den Lehrenden zugute, da ihnen dann ein vielseitiges und reichhaltiges Lehrveranstaltungsmaterial als Veranstaltungsthemen zur Verfu¨gung steht. Um ein solches Wissenschaftssystem der Deutschlandforschung zu erstellen und weiter zu entwickeln, wird jedoch nicht nur vie1 Zeit, sondern eine sta¨ndige Aktualisierung der Datenbank no¨tig werden. Um diese Aufgaben zu bewa¨ltigen, sollten mo¨glichst viele Germanisten fu¨r das Projekt zur Verfu¨gung stehen. Zurzeit findet das Internet im privaten und o¨ffentlichen Bereich breite Anwendung wie noch nie zu vor, und diese Tendenz wird sich noch versta¨rken. Forscher suchen und sammeln Informationen anhand des Internets. So nimmt es im Forschungsleben als Forschungswerkzeug einen wichtigen Platz ein. In Zukunft wird sich der Service im Bereich des Netzwerks weiter entwickeln/verbessern. Dies bedeutet fu¨r die Forscher eine Chance im Hinblick auf die Zukunft der Forschung, wenn sie gemeinsam ein wissenschaftliches Kooperationssystem entwickeln, um Wissen unter einander auszutauschen.

      • 殘留應力을 考慮한 鎔接材의 疲勞龜裂 進展擧動에 關한 硏究

        The effect of welding residual stress on the initiation and propagation of fatigue crack is investigated so as to study the fatigue behavior in welding residual stress field. Especially, the relation between welding residual stress and fatigue crack opening behavior is investigated and the redistribution of residual stress as a fatigue crack propagates is examined. Following results are obtained. 1) In case of the load range is constant, as the stress ratio is changing to 0.1, 0.33, 0.5 the propagation life is constant but the growth life decreases. And than, when maximum load or minimum load is constant, as the stress ratio increases the growth life and propagation life increase. 2) The fatigue crack propagations rate da/dN appears to accelerate when the stress intensity factor range ΔK is less than 15MPa-m^1/2. 3) The residual stress that is appeared by welding decreases after cutting. 4) Fatigue crack propagation ratio is affected by tensional and compressible residual stress at the initial time, but it's similar to the original in the more than 20mm of crack length.

        한국의 규제정책 분야 실증연구의 경향과 분석

        본 연구는 1990년대 초반 이래 국내의 행정학자, 정책학자들에 의해 수행되어온 규제 및 규제정책 연구를 일별하면서 이런 연구들의 특징을 다각적으로 살펴보고, 그 동안의 연구 성과를 평가하고 있다. 규제정책 관련연구의 일반적인 경향을 보면 환경규제 등 사회적 규제 관련연구가 활발하고, 규제정책경정과정에서 이익단체·공익단체의 활동에 주목한 연구가 많으며, 규제정책 집행의 실패와 규제순응 확보에 대한 높은 관심을 읽을 수 있다. 한편 경제적 규제 관련 연구는 상대적으로 미약하였다. 규제와 부패의 관계, 규제포획 현상에 대한 연구에서는 상당한 진전이 이루어지고, 위험 및 안전규제에 관한 연구, 규제개혁 관련 연구가 확산·심화되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 앞으로는 우리 나라의 규제지향적 행정풍토와 문화에 대한 좀 더 통찰력 있는 연구, 규제이론 연구, 역사적이고 정치경제학적 관점의 규제연구, 제도론적 관점의 규제연구, 규제연구와 관련이 깊은 다른 이론적 맥락에서 본 규제정책 연구, 규제와 재정의 관계에 관한 연구, 규제영향분석제도 등 규제개혁 수단에 관한 연구 등이 좀 더 활발하게 이루어져야 할 필요가 있다고 생각된다.
