        This study is to investigate whether the solution which EPS Waste is melted by Toluene and Xylene in has the feasibilities as the water proofing materials. The tests of SEM, coater absorption, permeability, bond strength, tensile strength in accordance with the times of application and the rate of solution were performed and analyzed. In conclusion, the suitable soluble rate of EPS Waste is 50% and the best times of application is 3 times when it was compared with the existing waterproofing materials. There were no differences in the quality, so it has potential feasibilities to be used as waterproofing materials in the field in the futures. 최근 구조물의 안전성에 대한 관심이 사회적으로 부각되면서 콘크리트 구조물에 대한 내구성 문제가 중요시되고 있다. 특히 구조물 에서의 누수가 콘크리트의 성능저하 및 수명단축의 중요 요인으로 작용함에 따라 이를 방지하기 위한 연구의 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 그리고, Poly-Styrene 수지를 발포하여 제작된 EPS(Expanded Poly-Styrene)는 열과 냉기의 침입에 대한 차단효과가 높고 성형성 이 우수하여 각종 제품의 제조에 널리 사용되고 있다. 산업의 발달과 더불어 EPS의 수요가 계속해서 증가함에 따라 폐 EPS의 발생량도 점차 증가하는 추세에 있다. 그러나, 폐EPS는 부피가 크고 난분해성 복합재료로서 매립이 곤란하고 소각 시 유독가스가 발생하므로 환경보호와 에너지 절약 면에서 다양한 재활용 기술 개발이 요구된다. 따라서, 본 연구는 벤젠계 용매인 Toluene과 Xylene에 폐 EPS 수지를 용해시켜 그 용해물의 방수실험을 통해 방수성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 폐 EPS 수지를 재활용 하는 방안으로 방수재 개발에 관한 기초적 자료를 제공하는 것을 본 연구의 목적으로 하였다.

      • Self-Assembling Peptide Nanofibers Coupled with Neuropeptide Substance P for Bone Tissue Engineering

        <P>The number of patients requiring flat bone transplantation continues to increase worldwide. Cell transplantation has been successfully applied clinically; however, it causes another defect site and the time requirements to harvest cells and expand them are considerable. In this study, KLD12/KLD12-SP (KLD12+KLD12-substance P [SP]) was designed to mimic endogenous tissue-healing processes. The structures of KLD12, KLD12-SP, and KLD12/KLD12-SP were observed by transmission electron microscopy and circular dichroism spectra. KLD12/KLD12-SP nanofibers (5-10?nm) were created under physiological conditions by formation of a β-sheet structure. The ability of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to recruit KLD12/KLD12-SP was observed by using an in vivo fluorescence imaging system. Labeled human bone marrow stromal cells supplied via an intravenous injection were recruited to the scaffold containing KLD12/KLD12-SP. Polylactic acid/beta-tricalcium phosphate (PLA/β-TCP) scaffolds filled with KLD12/KLD12-SP were applied to repair calvarial defects. The composite constructs (groups: defect, PLA/β-TCP, PLA/β-TCP/KLD12, and PLA/β-TCP/KLD12/KLD12-SP) were implanted into rat defect sites. Bone tissue regeneration was evaluated by observing gross morphology by hematoxylin and eosin and Masson's trichrome staining at 12 and 24 weeks after surgery. Gross morphology showed that the defect site was filled with new tissue that was integrated with host tissue in the KLD12/KLD12-SP group. In addition, from the staining data, cells were recruited to the defect site and lacunae structures formed in the KLD12/KLD12-SP group. From these results, the PLA/β-TCP+KLD12/KLD12-SP composite construct was considered for enhancement of bone tissue regeneration without cell transplantation.</P>

        N/A The anti-IgE autoantibody (anti-IgE) in the IgG class was measured in children with atopic or non-atopic asthma using solid phase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in avidine-biotin system. The IgG anti-IgE was detected in 74% of children with atopic asthma, and in 83.3% of those with non-atopic asthma. In atopic asthmatics, children with the relatively high IgE antibody level (more than 100 IU/ml) showed 83.3% of positive rate of IgG anti-IgE, and those with relatively low IgE level (less than 100 IU/ml) showed 55.6% of positivity. In non-atopic asthmatics the positive rates of IgG anti-IgE were 100% and 77.7% in the children with high and low IgE levels, respectively. The IgG1 and IgG4 antibodies against IgE were also measured in all children, and there were no significant differences of positive rate and relative concentration of IgG1, IgG4 anti-IgE between atopic and non-atopic asthmatics. The concentration of IgG, IgG1 and IgG anti-IgE were well correlated with the level of total serum IgE antibody (r=0.33, r=0.39 and r=0.36 and r=0.36; p<0.05) and there was also good correlation between IgG1 or IgG4 anti-IgE and total IgG anti-IgE (r=0.84, r=0.83; p<0.0001). In summary there were no differences in positive rate and relative concentrations of IgG, IgG1 and IgG4 anti-IgE autoantibodies between atopic and non-atopic asthmatic children. And there was good correlations among IgG, IgG1 or IgG4 anti-IgE and total serum IgE antibody.

        N/A To evaluate the etiologic role of cockroach antigen in bronchial asthma in Korean children, 220 atopic asthmatic children were studied using in vitro assays for total (PRIST) and cockroach specific IgE (FAST) antibodies, and the responsiveness of skin test. Specific IgE antibodies to major German cockroach allergens, Bla Gi and Bla Gii, were also measured using avidine-biotin ELISA with monoclonal antibodies (sandwitch method) in 7 cockroach sensitive and 6 cockroach non-sensitive asthmatic children. Positive skin reactions were encountered in 28 out of 220 (12.8%) atopic asthmatics. The FAST was positive in 24 (11%) patients. Atopic asthmatics with positive skin reaction or FAST to crude cockroach antigen were 41 (18.6%) of 220. There was a relatively low degree of agreement between positive reactions by skin test and FAST (39.3%) compared with that of house dust mites antigens. On the other hand the positive rate of cockroach specific IgE was higher in patients who showed positive skin reactions to cockroach antigen (P<0.05). Among forty-one cockroach sensitive children with atopic asthma, 76.9% and 100% had positive skin reactions to D. farinae and D. pteronyssinus respectively. Specific IgE antibodies to Bla Gi and Bla Gii were detected in all patients with positive skin reaction to crude cockroach antigen and in 33.3% of those with negative skin reactions. In summary, the positive rate of cockroach allergy in Korean atopic asthmatic children was 18.6%. Cockroach seems to be one of the most common causative indoor allergen in Korean asthmatic children. The environmental assay of cockroach antigen is be needed in our country. We should further consider the possibility of cross reactivity and co-sensitization between cockroach and house dust mites allergens.

        판상 SnO의 형성 메커니즘

        This study elucidates the formation mechanism of SnO plate observed during the precipitation reaction of a SnCl2 aqueous solution. Sn21Cl16(OH)14O6 and Sn6O4(OH)4 precipitates was formed at pH=3~5 and at pH=11, respectively. When the pH was in the range of 11.5~12.5, the Sn6O4(OH)4 precipitates dissolved into HSnO2 - [Sn6O4(OH)4+4OH-=6HSnO2 -+2H+] and dissolved HSnO2 - ions reprecipitated to SnO plate [HSnO2 -+H+=SnO+H2O]. The Sn6O4(OH)4 precipitates completely transformed into SnO plate through a repeated process of dissolution-precipitation in the range of pH=11.5~12.5.

        도시의 속성이 재방문의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구:

        도시는 이미지를 통해 도시의 현재 및 미래의 방향성을 제시한다. 이러한 측면에서 도시의 각 속성은 도시의 이미지에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 도시의 각 속성 요인이 도시의 재방문의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 도시 속성요인과 재방문의도 관계에 대한 매개효과를 도시 브랜드 개성으로 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 본 연구모형의 메커니즘을 밝히고자 하였다. 연구결과, 도시의 매력성은 활기참과 세련됨에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 도시의 인프라는 활기참, 유능함, 강인함에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 도시의 서비스는 성실함에는 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나 활기참에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 도시의 문화유산은 성실함에는 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나 세련됨에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 도시 브랜드 개성의 각 요인(성실함, 활기참, 유능함, 세련됨, 강인함)은 재방문의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. City presents the direction for present and future through image. In this viewpoint, each attribute of cities may affect on image of them positively. This study researched the effects of attributes of cities on revisit intention for the city. For the more, this study got brand personality for city as amediator variable. Thismeant themechanismof this researchmodel. In results, attraction of city affected on excitement and sophistication positively. Infra of city, and, took excitement, competence, and ruggedness nicely. Service factor did on sincerity positively, but did not on excitement. Also, cultural heritage got sincerity in plus direction, but did not affect on sophistication. In its final analysis, each factor, such as sincerity, excitement, competence, sophistication, and ruggedness, affected on revisit intention positively.

      • 아토피 환아에서 쌀 항원에 대한 혈청 특이 IgE 및 IgG4 의 측정과 의의

        N/A To evaluate the allergenicity of rice flour in Korean atopic children, we performed the ELISA for rice speci5c IgE and IgG4 using own product of partially purified crude extract of rice flour. Allergic skin test with 63 inhalant and food antigens (Torii) and rice extract was done by scratch method. Subject were divided into two groups; Group 1: subjects with positive skin reaction to buckwheat flour (n=13), Group 2: subjects with negative skin reaction to buckwheat flour (n=14). The results were as follows; 1. All subjects showed positive skin reactions to Dermatophagoides farinae (Df) and Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (Dp), and negative to wheat and rice flour antigens. The mean age, total serum IgE and skin reactions to Df and Dp were not signi5cantly different between Group 1 and Group 2. 2. The positive rates of rice specific IgE were 38.5% and 0% in Group 1 and Group 2, respectively. The relative concentrations of rice specific IgE in Group 1 and Group 2 were 1.1±0.83 and 0.4±0.37 and there was no significant difference between Group 1 and Group 2. 3. The positive rates of rice specific IgG4 were 92.3% (12 of 13) and 85.7% (12 of 14), respectively. There was no significant difference in the relative concentration of rice speci5c IgG4 between Group 1 (2.6±0.45) and Group 2 (2.4±0.40). 4. The concentrations of specific IgE were not correlated with those of total serum IgE. In conclusion, 5 out of the 27 subjects studied are considered as rice allergic patient by demonstration of rice specific IgE in their sera. The detection of rice specific IgG4 is a less specific diagnostic method in rice allergy, and it simply represent the long-term exposure of rice antigen.
