        태양열 건조 시스템에 관한 실험적 연구(Ⅱ) - 벼의 태양열 건조 특성 -

        곡물 bin을 이용한 벼의 건조실험을 수행하여 상온통풍건조 시스템과 태양열 건조 시스템의 건조 특성을 비교하여 분석하였다. 태양열 건조의 시뮬레이션 모형에 대한 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였으며 시뮬레이션 모형에 의한 함수율의 예측치는 실측치와 전체적으로 일치하였다.<br/> 또한, inverter를 사용하여 벼의 건조 상태에 따라 송풍량을 적절하게 제어하는 송풍량 제어 시스템을 개발하였으며, 개발된 송풍량 제어 시스템을 통하여 에너지 절약 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. In-bin grain drying experiments were performed to investigate the drying characteristics between natural air and solar heated-air drying system of rough rice. A computer simulation model for solar drying system of rough rice resulted in a good agreement between the experimental and predicted moisture content.<br/> In order to save the electric energy consumption of fan, airflow rates control system using inverter was developed and resulted in the effect of energy saving.

      • 가변 실린더 수에 의한 자동차 연료 소비율의 개선

        This paper presents an effective way of improving fuel consumption for a variable displacement engine. The improvement of fuel consumption can be accomplished by means of deactivating inlet and exhaust valves, reducing the number of effective cylinders, which is four-cylinder gasoline engine that mounted on a domestic compact automobile. In case of having 2 effective cylinders, a maximum improvement of fuel consumption (about 30%) can be obtained at the running speed of 50km/h or less and under low load condition. And also at idle, improvement of fuel consumption is about 30%. Also it may be possible to reduce the speed of idling. In case that the number of effective cylinders is 3, the improvement of fuel consumption is below 10%, but the extent of operation is broadened.

        Methanol have been considered for use as automotive fuels since two times energy crisis in the 1970's, but it have a defect that the great latent heat of vaporization. So the authors made the fuel vapoizing device in order to heat the mixture and eliminate the fuel film flow. Therefore this paper presents a study on the characteristics of vaporization and engine power output using the fuel vaporizing device according to the change of heating water temperature.

        색상 측정 기기를 이용한 복합레진 적층 수복과 단일 수복의 색상 비교 분석

        Objectives: This study analyzed the difference in color caused by different thickness in enamel layer of composite resins when applied with single and layering placement technique, and evaluated if the results agreed with the shade guide from the manufacturers to verify reliability of the color matching process of the manufacturers. Materials and Methods: For single composite resin samples, 6 mm diameter and 4 mm thickness cylindrical samples were fabricated using Ceram-X mono (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and CIE L*a*b* values were measured with spectrophotometer. Same process was done for layering compositie resin samples, making 3 dentinal shade samples, 4 mm thickness, for each shade using Ceram-X duo (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and enamel shade resins were layered in 2 mm thickness and CIE L*a*b* values were measured. These samples were ground to 0.2 mm thickness each time, and CIE L*a*b* values were measured to 1 mm thickness of enamel shade resin. Results: Color difference (△E*) between single and layering composite resin was 1.37 minimum and 10.53 maximum when layering thicknesses were between 1 mm and 2 mm and 6 out of 10 same shade groups suggested by manufacturer showed remarkable color difference at anythickness (△E* > 3.3). Conclusion: When using Ceram-X mono and duo for composite resin restoration, following the manufacturer's instructions for chossing the shade is not appropriate, and more accurate information for Ceram-X duo is needed on the variation and expression of the shades depending on the thickness of the enamel.         장애인 태권도 선수의 스포츠 열정이 경기수행능력에 미치는 영향

        The objective of the study is to analyze the impact of disabled taekwondo players’ sports passion on their match performance ability. For the research, a total of 146 male and female disabled taekwondo players for competitions and stance matches who are registered to Korea Taekwondo Association for the Disabled in 2015 and 2016 was used for the final analysis. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis), reliability coefficient, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis, and the results are as follows: First, as a result of the analysis on the differences in sports passion according to disabled taekwondo players’ sociodemographic characteristics, sports passion in relation to both sports types and disability types showed statistical differences in obsessive passion. Also, sports passion according to award experience had statistical differences in obsessive passion. Second, as a result of the analysis on the differences in match performance ability according to disabled taekwondo players’ sociodemographic characteristics, match performance ability showed statistical differences in psychological maturity according to gender. Match performance ability in relation to match types showed statistical differences in match performance success, match performance maturity and psychological maturity, and that according to award experience in match performance success. Third, the analysis on the impact of disabled taekwondo players’ sports passion on match performance success and psychological maturity revealed that a sub-factor of sports passion, obsessive passion, had statistically significant influence. Also, disabled taekwondo players’ sports passion had impact on match performance maturity; sub-factors of sports passion including obsessive passion and harmonious passion showed statistically significant impact. Finally, as for the result of analysis on the impact of disabled taekwondo players’ sports confidence on psychological maturity, the predictive analysis on a sub-factor of match performance ability, psychological maturity, revealed that there was impact on physical and psychological preparedness, social support and proof of ability, while no influence on coaches’ leadership.

        The Effects of Bridge Exercise with Abdominal Drawing-in on Balance in Patients with Stroke

        Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of Bridge exercise with abdominal drawing-in on static and dynamic balance in patients with stroke. Methods: Forty patients with stroke participated in this study. Participation was randomly assigned to the Bridge exercise group (n=20) and the Bridge exercise with abdominal drawing-in group (n=20). A bio-feedback device was used when patients performed the Bridge exercise with abdominal drawing-in. This training was performed without any motion on the patient's spine and upper belly part, and the pressure was held with the biofeedback device as 40-70 mmHg. Both groups received training 30 minutes per day, three times per week, for four weeks. Weight bearing, anterior limit of stability, and posterior limit of stability for static balance ability were measured, and Berg balance scale (BBS), Timed up and go test (TUG) for dynamic balance ability were also measured. Results: Participants showed significant differences between pre- and post-mediation in terms of weight bearing, anterior limit of stability, posterior limit of stability, Berg balance scale, and Timed up and go test (p<0.05). The Bridge exercise with abdominal drawing-in group showed a more significant increase (p<0.05). Conclusion: According to the results of this study, both exercises were effective for improving the static and dynamic balance ability. However we suggest that the Bridge exercise with abdominal drawing-in is more efficient for increasing balance ability in patients with stroke.

        Characteristics of Torrefaction with Water Hyacinth

        Purpose: This study explored the factors influencing heating value in the process of torrefaction of water hyacinth. Methods: Torrefaction was applied with three temperature settings (200, 300, $400^{\circ}C$) and three time settings (1, 2, 3 h) using small electric heaters (11.3L of holding volume). This study investigated the heating values with the washing process and process factors influenced the torrefaction. In addition, this study compared the heating values in washed and unwashed samples and suggested the optimal conditions for increasing heating value. Results: Torrefaction increased the heating value by 8.18 ~ 30.04%. Comparing heating values of each condition, the optimal temperature for torrefaction was $300^{\circ}C$ and holding time was 1 hour. The washing process increased the heating value by 19 ~ 27%. The heating value of the sample treated at $300^{\circ}C$ for three hours was 4310.80 kcal/kg, which was greater than the first class wood pellet of 4300 kcal/kg. Conclusions: This study proved that the torrefaction and washing process increased the heating value of water hyacinth. Therefore, water hyacinth is expected to be an eco-friendly biomass which substitutes for wood pellet.

        Effects of Neck and Trunk Stabilization Exercise on Balance in Older Adults

        Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of neck and trunk stabilization exercise on static and dynamic balance in older adults. Methods: A total of 30 older adults participated in this study. Participants were randomly assigned to the neck and trunk stabilization exercise group (NTSG) (n=15) or the trunk stabilization exercise group (TSG) (n=15). The NTSG performed a trunk stabilization exercise added to a neck stabilization exercise that included biofeedback. Both groups received training for 30 minutes per day three times per week for eight weeks. The anterior, posterior limit of stability and sway length was used to measure static balance ability, while the timed up and go (TUG) test was used to measure dynamic balance ability. Results: Participants showed significant differences in sway length, anterior limit of stability, posterior limit of stability, and the results of the TUG test between their pre- and post mediation evaluations (p<0.05). The NTSG showed a more significant increase than the TSG (p<0.05). Conclusion: According to the results of this study, both exercises effectively improved static and dynamic balance ability. However, the neck and trunk stabilization exercise is more efficient for increasing the balance ability of older adults.
