      • 태권도 도장 교육환경에 대한 학부모의 만족도 조사연구

        The objective of the present study is to investigate parents' satisfaction with taekwondo halls with regard facilities, size, safety, cleanliness, the disposition of the coach (director), management and educational aspects, aiming at increasing the membership of taekwondo halls, improving the health of members, and ultimately developing taekwondo as a sound living sport contributing to education, cultivation of good personality and the improvement of school records. This study selected 8 taekwondo halls under the supervision of Gyeongsangbuk-do Taekwondo Association and run by graduates of Yongin University, all of which were in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and sampled parents of higher grade (4^(th), 5^(th), 6^(th) year) elementary school students who were attending the taekwondo hall. The present researcher prepared the tool used in this study by modifying questionnaires used in previous researches, Evaluation of Taekwondo Halls in Seoul pun, Sang-hwa, 1998) and Comparative Analysis of the Image of Middle School Teachers Expected in Korea and Japan (Lee, Mu-sun, 1994), Current State of Educational Environment and Its Improvement &m, Ok-ju, 1997). The questionnaire consists of a total of 35 questions, 5 about background variables, 5 above size and facilities, 5 about safety and cleanliness, 10 about the disposition and specialty of the coach (director), and 15 about satisfaction with management and educational aspects. The present study was carried out for about 3 months from November 2002 to January 2003. The number of questionnaires recovered from the 8 halls was 424. Excluding insincere replies, 283 of them were used in data analysis, for which SPSS WIN 10.0 was used. Frequency analysis was performed for all items, cross analysis was for each question according to the background variables of parents' satisfaction with the educational environment of taekwondo halls, and chi-square test was for testing the significance among groups. The significance level for the analysis was 5%. From the research methods and processes presented above, this study drew the following conclusions. 1) Parents' satisfaction with size and facilities With regard to parents satisfaction with the size and facilities of taekwondo halls by the gender of trainees, 7.7% of the parents replied Not Satisfied , 42.7% Moderately Satisfied , and 51.4% Satisfied , so as a whole, parents were satisfied with the size of taekwondo halls. Parents' satisfaction with the floor condition of taekwondo halls by gender, age, academic qualification and the length of training was 32.9% as a whole, so it was urgently required to improve the facilities of taekwondo halls. 2) Parents' satisfaction with safety and cleanliness With regard to parents' satisfaction with the safety and the cleanliness of taekwondo halls by parents' age, 6.8% of parents replied Not Satisfied , 45.4% Moderately Satisfied , and 47.1% Satisfied , so as a whole, parents were satisfied with the safety and the cleanliness of taekwondo halls. Parents' satisfaction with the safety of hall bus operation by gender, age, academic qualification, and the length of training was 64.5% as a whole, so they were relatively satisfied with the safety of hall bus operation. However, with regard to parents' satisfaction with fire prevention facilities by gender, age, academic qualification, and the length of training, 62.5% of the parents replied Not satisfied , so fire prevention facilities in taekwondo halls appeared inadequate. With regard to parents satisfaction with the cleanliness of the inside of taekwondo halls by gender, age, academic qualification, and the length of training, 36.4% of the parents replied Not Satisfied , so they appeared not satisfied with the cleanliness of the indoor environment of taekwondo halls. 3) Parents' satisfaction with the disposition and specialty of coaches (directors) With regard to parents' satisfaction with the kindness of coaches by gender, age, academic qualification, and the length of training, 89% of the parents replied positively. In addition replies to questions about coaches fairness, ***, leadership, *** and service spirit showed that most parents appeared to be satisfied with the coaches of taekwondo halls in terms of these characters. 4) Parents' satisfaction with management and educational aspects According to parents' replies to the question, Are trainees' problems well managed by the hall?, by gender, age, academic qualification, and the length of training. 36.4% of the parents were not satisfied, so the level of satisfaction was somewhat low. With regard to parents' satisfaction concerning the question, Did you receive a phone call for confirmation when ***', 20.1% of the parents answered 'No', so their satisfaction appeared to be somewhat low. With regard to parents' satisfaction concerning the question, Are children properly given personality education during training?, by the length of training, 81.6% of parents answered positively. However, with regard to parents' satisfaction with health and hygienic management by academic qualification, 37.7% of the parents replied 'Unsatisfied'. These results suggest that taekwondo halls must improve their facilities, safety, cleanliness and management.

        By using the methods of superposition and small deflection theory, the rigidities and deflections of anisotropic stiffened plate composed of isotropic plate and slanting gridwork attached on it are deduced. The theoretical grid slanting angle of the stiffened gridwork plate which gives minimum deflection agrees well with the experiment.

      • 콩에서 발생하는 강낭콩일반모자이크바이러스(BCMV)와 땅콩위축바이러스(PSV)의 저항성 평가

        It has been reported several viral diseases in soybean. The occurrence of Bean common mosaic virus and Peanut stunt virus are able to induce severe problem because the main breeding target for viral disease was focused on Soybean mosaic virus. BCMV is a spcies of the genus Potyvirus of the family Potyviridae. BCMV reduces yield by as much as 80% and also adversely affects seed quality in common bean. BCMV has a worldwide distribution because of its high rates 35% of transmission via seeds produced by plants systemically infected prior to bloom. PSV is a species of the genus Cucumovirus of the family Bromoviridae. PSV has been reported to be economically damaging on beans worldwide. Although the virus is reportedly seed transmissible at very low rates, infected plants rarely produce pods with normal viable seeds. The most satisfactory management method of viral diseases such as BCMV and PSV is the use of resistant cultivars and healthy seed. For the overcome of genetic resistance by new virus such as BCMV and PSV, virus diseases monitoring and researches need to study deeply and continually. In this study, we conducted the resistance screen on BCMV and PSV for selection of resistance cultivars. We inoculated on 128 cultivars with PSV and BCMV respectively. These cultivars were classified through pathogenic response such as resistance, necrosis and susceptibility. In addition, 99 and 66 resistant cultivars were confirmed against PSV and BCMV respectively.

      • RT-LAMP를 이용한 콩황화일반모자이크바이러스의 진단

        Soybean yellow common mosaic virus (SYCMV) has been recently reported, it has been occurred a lot with Soybean mosaic virus (SMV) and Soybean yellow mottle mosaic virus (SYMMV) in soybean field. SYCMV belongs to genus of Sobemovirus and induced viral symptoms with yellowing, mottle and mosaic. A reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) method allowed one-step detection of gene amplification by simple procedure and needed only a simple incubator for isothermal template. This RT-LAMP method allowed direct detection of RNA from virus-infected plants without thermal cycling and gel electrophoresis. In this study, we designed RT-LAMP primers named SYCML-F3/B3/FIP/BIP from coat protein gene sequence of SYCMV. After the reaction of RTLAMP, products were identified by electrophoresis and with the detective fluorescent dye, SYBR Green I. under daylight and UV light. Optimal reaction condition was at 63 for 60min and the primers of RTLAMP showed the specificity for only SYCMV tested in this study.

        A new pregnane hexaglycoside from Adonis multiflora

        A new pregnane hexaglycoside, named amurensioside L (1), was isolated from the whole plant of Adonis multiflora. Amurensioside L (1) emerged to be new pregnane hexaglycoside which we fully spectroscopically characterized. The chemical structure of compound 1 was established as $14{\beta}$,20R-epoxy-$3{\beta}$-hydroxypregna-4,6-dien-18-oic acid-20-lactone 3-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-diginopyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-cymaropyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-cymaropyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-oleandropyranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}4$)-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-oleandropyranoside on the basis of spectroscopic analyses including nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry, high-resolution fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry, and infrared spectroscopy.

        Flavonoids from Fragaria ananassa calyx and their antioxidant capacities

        The calyx of Fragaria ananassa (Rosaceae) has not been investigated for its chemical constituents and biological activity. This study focused on the isolation of active metabolites from the calyx of this plant. Compounds from F. ananassa calyx were extracted in 80 % aqueous MeOH and the concentrated extract was successively partitioned into EtOAc, n-BuOH, and $H_2O$ fractions. Repeated silica gel, octadecyl silica gel, and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatographies afforded six purified flavonoids. On the basis of spectroscopic methods, including $^1H$, $^{13}C$ nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry (NMR), DEPT, and 2D NMR (gCOSY, gHSQC, gHMBC), the flavonoids were identified as kaempferol (1), astragalin (2), quercetin (3), isoquercitrin (4), sexangularetin (5), and sinensin (6). All the flavonoids were isolated for the first time from the F. ananassa calyx in this study. The flavonoids were evaluated for radical-scavenging capacity 2,2'-azinobis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid ammonium salt), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, and oxygen radical absorbance capacity methods. In conclusion, quercetin (3) consistently showed the highest ABTS, DPPH, and ORAC radical-scavenging activities compared with the other isolated flavonoids.

        우리나라 STEAM 교육의 방향

        최근 우리나라를 포함한 여러 나라의 과학, 기술 관련 교육 분야에서 많은 관심을 받고 있는 STEAM(science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) 교육은 미래 과학기술 사회가 요구하는 과학, 기술, 공학, 예술, 수학 등 다양한 분야의 융합적 지식을 기반으로 학생들의 과학기술에 대한 이해·흥미·잠재력을 제고하여 창의성, 직관력, 감성과 예술적 감각의 신장을 포함하는 총체적인 접근에 기초하고 있다. 본 연구자들은 우리나라의 교육 환경과 실정에 맞는 STEAM 교육의 방향에 대해서 제언하고자 연구를 수행하였고, 우리나라 과학기술교육의 문제점을 최소화 하고 학생들의 과학기술공학에 대한 흥미와 동기 유발, 효능감 등의 극대화 및 창의·인성 교육을 포함한 한국형 융합인재교육의 유형으로 4C-STEAM 유형을 제안한다. 4C-STEAM 교육은 융합적 지식 및 개념 형성과 창의성을 가지고 다른 사람과의 소통과 배려를 추구하기 때문에 우리나라 교육에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. STEAM Education refers enhancing science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics by interdisciplinary approach. STEAM Education fosters integrative STEM education with artistic perspectives. Korean students have high academic achievement in math and science, but show low self-efficacy and interest in them. We highlight the affective aspect of science-technology-mathematics education on STEAM, 4C-STEAM stands for convergence, creativity, communication, and caring. The key elements of STEAM are creative design and emotional touch. STEAM education will help students: To possess integrative understanding and problem-solving ability in STEAM subject areas to become competent citizens in future society; to have interest and curiosity in STEAM subject areas to bring high self-efficacy and strong motivation; and to be considerate of others feelings.

        대학 신입생 공학설계과목을 통한 창의성 교육의 성과

        본 연구는 주로 공과대학 대학생들을 중심으로, 대학생들의 창의성을 측정 · 평가하고, 이를 바탕으로 학생들의 창의성을 증진시키는 교육과정을 마련하기 위한 창의성의 공학적 응용 기반 연구의 일환으로 진행되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 창의적 문제해결 능력을 각 전공의 특성에 맞게 통합하여 교육하는 학과 통합적 프로그램(integrated program) 형식의 상상설계공학의 학습성과를 창의성과 성격유형적인 면에서 분석하는 것이다. 상상설계공학은 아이디어 창출, 특허출원, 설계, 제품 개발, 마케팅에 대한 정보를 습득하고 그 활용 방법에 대해 학습하였으며 이를 토대로 제품 개발을 위한 아이디어 창출능력을 기르고 문제해결 능력을 강화할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구의 학습성과는 창의성 측정도구인 TTCT 도형 검사와 성격유형검사인 MBTI를 이용하여 측정하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 상상설계공학수업에 참여한 학생들의 TTCT 창의성 지수는 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였고, 둘째, 상상설계공학수업에 참여한 학생들의 MBTI 성격 유형 선호지표 점수에 통계적으로 유의미한 변화가 있었으며, 그 방향은 보다 외향적(E)으 로, 보다 감정적(F)으로, 보다 인식적(P)이었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 분석해 볼 때, 상상설계공학 수업이 학생들의 창의성 계발에 도움이 된 것으로 판단된다. This study is a part of the research on measuring and developing the creativity of college students, especially of engineering college students. This study was done in the class of imaginative design engineering which was a creativity training program integrated with engineering majors, including idea generation skills, creative problem solving, patent applications, design, manufacturing and marketing. Participants in this program were 75 freshman strudetns in engineering college. The achievements in this program were measured by the figural form of TTCT(Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking), as well as MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). The results are as follows. First, TTCT scores of the participants in imaginetive design engineering increased significantly. Second, type indicator scores of MBTI varied significantly, to the directions of extrovert, feeling, and perception. Therefore, according to the results of this study, we can conclude the imaginative design engineering class had significant positive effects on the creativity of the engineering students.

        Tricin derivatives as anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic constituents from the aerial part of Zizania latifolia.

        <P>Methanol extract of Zizania latifolia was partitioned with EtOAc, n-BuOH, and H2O. From the EtOAc layers, a new flavonolignan along with a known flavone and three known flavonolignans, tricin (1), salcolin A (2), salcolin B (3), and salcolin C (4), were isolated through repeated silica gel and ODS column chromatography. The chemical structure of the new flavonolignan was determined to be tricin-4'-O-[erythro-β-guaiacyl-(7-O-methyl)-glyceryl] ether and was named salcolin D (5) based on physicochemical and spectroscopic data, including FT-NMR and ESI-MS. All compounds were isolated for the first time from this plant. Compounds 2-5, tricin derivatives, all exhibited higher anti-inflammatory and anti-allergy activities than tricin. In particular, salcolin D (5) was shown to have the strongest inhibitory activity against LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 cells as well as β-hexosaminidase release in IgE-sensitized RBL-2H3 cells. These results suggest that the presence of tricin derivatives conveys allergy and inflammation treatment ability to Z. latifolia.</P>
