On Separation Axioms in Fuzzifying Bitopological Spaces

Ahmed Abd El-Monsef Allam,Ahmed Mohammed Zahran,Ahmed Khalf Mousa,Hana Mohsen Binshahnah 한국지능시스템학회 2020 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL of FUZZY LOGIC and INTELLIGE Vol.20 No.1

In present paper, we introduce and study the concepts of T₀(i;j)-, T₁(i;j) -, T₂(i;j)(pairwise Hausdorff)-, TR(i;j) (pairwise regularity)-, TN(i;j) (pairwise normality)-, R₀(i;j)-, R₁(i;j)-, T₃(i;j) - and T₄(i;j) - separation axioms in fuzzifying bitopological spaces and study some relations between them. Also we investigate the image of these kinds of fuzzifying bitopological spaces under some types of fuzzy mappings.

Decomposition of fuzzy ideal continuity via fuzzy idealization

Zahran, Ahmed M.,El-Baki, S. Ahmed Abd,Saber, Yaser Mohammed Korean Institute of Intelligent Systems 2009 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL of FUZZY LOGIC and INTELLIGE Vol.9 No.2

Recently, El-Naschie has shown that the notion of fuzzy topology may be relevant to quantum paretical physics in connection with string theory and E-infinity space time theory. In this paper, we study the concepts of r-fuzzy semi-I-open, r-fuzzy pre-I-open, r-fuzzy $\alpha$-I-open and r-fuzzy $\beta$-I-open sets, which is properly placed between r-fuzzy openness and r-fuzzy $\alpha$-I-openness (r-fuzzy pre-I-openness) sets regardless the fuzzy ideal topological space in Sostak sense. Moreover, we give a decomposition of fuzzy continuity, fuzzy ideal continuity and fuzzy ideal $\alpha$-continuity, and obtain several characterization and some properties of these functions. Also, we investigate their relationship with other types of function.

Histological and Physiological Studies of the Effect of Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells on Bleomycin Induced Lung Fibrosis in Adult Albino Rats

Zakaria Dina Mohamed,Zahran Noha Mahmoud,Arafa Samia Abdel Aziz,Mehanna Radwa Ali,Abdel-Moneim Rehab Ahmed 한국조직공학과 재생의학회 2021 조직공학과 재생의학 Vol.18 No.1

Background: Lung fibrosis is considered as an end stage for many lung diseases including lung inflammatory disease, autoimmune diseases and malignancy. There are limited therapeutic options with bad prognostic outcome. The aim of this study was to explore the effect of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from bone marrow on Bleomycin (BLM) induced lung fibrosis in albino rats. Methods: 30 adult female albino rats were distributed randomly into 4 groups; negative control group, Bleomycin induced lung fibrosis group, lung fibrosis treated with bone marrow-MSCs (BM-MSCs) and lung fibrosis treated with cell free media. Lung fibrosis was induced with a single dose of intratracheal instillation of BLM. BM-MSCs or cell free media were injected intravenously 28 days after induction and rats were sacrificed after another 28 days for assessment. Minute respiratory volume (MRV), forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) were recorded using spirometer (Power lab data acquisition system). Histological assessment was performed by light microscopic examination of H&E, and Masson’s trichrome stained sections and was further supported by morphometric studies. In addition, electron microscopic examination to assess ultra-structural changes was done. Confocal Laser microscopy and PCR were used as tools to ensure MSCs homing in the lung. Results: Induction of lung fibrosis was confirmed by histological examination, which revealed disorganized lung architecture, thickened inter-alveolar septa due excessive collagen deposition together with inflammatory cellular infiltration. Moreover, pneumocytes depicted variable degenerative changes. Reduction in MRV, FVC and FEV1 were recorded. BM-MSCs treatment showed marked structural improvement with minimal cellular infiltration and collagen deposition and hence restored lung architecture, together with lung functions. Conclusion: MSCs are promising potential therapy for lung fibrosis that could restore the normal structure and function of BLM induced lung fibrosis. Semen parameters on the intracytoplasmic sperm injection day: Predictive values and cutoff thresholds of success

Alaa El din-Abdel Aal Moubasher,Emad Abdelrehim Taha,Ehab Mohamed Elnashar,Ahmed Abdel Aal Abdel Maged,Asmaa Mohamed Zahran,Heba Hassan Sayed,Hisham Diab Gaber 대한생식의학회 2021 Clinical and Experimental Reproductive Medicine Vol.48 No.1

Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the relationship of semen parameters in samples used for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) with fertilization and pregnancy rates in infertile couples. Methods: In this prospective study of Infertile couples with male factor infertility that had undergone ICSI, fractions of the same semen samples obtained for microinjection (to ensure the best predictability) were evaluated to determine the semen parameters and sperm DNA fragmentation index (DFI) on the day of oocyte recovery. Results: In total, 120 couples completed the study and were subdivided into fertilized (n=87) and non-fertilized couples (n=33). The fertilized couples were further classified into pregnant (n=48) and non-pregnant (n=39) couples. Compared to non-fertilized and non-pregnant couples, fertilized and pregnant couples showed statistically significantly higher sperm viability and percentage of normal sperm morphology, as well as significantly lower sperm DFI values. A receiver operating characteristic curve analysis of data from the 120 ICSI cycles showed that sperm viability, normal sperm morphology percentages, and sperm DFI were significant prognostic indicators of fertilization at cutoff values of 40%, 7%, and 46%, respectively. A sperm DFI of 46% showed sensitivity and specificity of 95% and 90%, respectively, for predicting fertilization, and no clinical pregnancies occurred in couples with a sperm DFI above 46%.Conclusion: Semen parameters from the ICSI day sample, especially sperm viability, normal morphology, and DFI, had an impact on fertilization and pregnancy outcomes in ICSI cycles.
