On the Throughput Analysis of a Cognitive Radio Based Mobile Multihop Relay Network

In this paper, a suitable network model was considered for the mobile multi-hop relay (MMR) system development firstly and the influence of mobility was calculated using probabilistic approach. Later, cognitive radio (CR) capabilities were introduced in mobile terminals and in mobile relay stations (MRSs) by using the opportunistic spectrum utilization technique called spectrum agility. Finally, based on the throughput model developed, simulation results were generated for the proposed CR based MMR model and were compared with the fixed relay multi-hop case.

In this paper, Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR) of wireless Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) system interconnected with Radio over Fiber (RoF) link is analyzed for broadband convergence network applications. Unlike previous results, ACPR of the total link, which is involved with Radio Frequency (RF) amplifier as well as ROF link, at 5.8 GHz in IEEE 802.11a environment is simulated and compared at both system ends. 본 논문에서는 광대역통합망 응용을 위하여 ROF 링크와 접속된 무선 OFDM 시스템의 인접채널전력비를 해석하였다. RF 증폭기에서 비선형 효과에 의한 인접채널전력비의 해석을 다룬 기존의 결과들과 다르게 본 논문에서는 ROF 링크를 포함한 유무선통합 링크에 대하여 IEEE 802.11a의 5.8GHz OFDM 신호의 인접채널전력비를 해석하고 시뮬레이션한 결과를 보였다.

The growth of wireless networking has generated commercial and research interest in statistical methods to track people and things. Inside stores, hospitals, warehouses and factories where Global Positioning System devices generally do not work. Indoor Positioning Systems aim to provide location estimates for wireless devices such as laptop computers, handheld devices and electronic badges. Therfore, in this paper, location estimation algorithms were suggested to address the global positiong problem in an ad-hoc wireless network and algorithms were compared to offer suitable solutions.
