        The research was conducted to understand type of iron used by those who lived at dwelling site of Yangsoo-ri in between the first century B.C. and the first century A.D. to make steel products and their technique such as steel making process and heat treatment, based on micro structure information obtained through microscopic metallographic structure analysis with SEM-EDS of six steel productsexhumed at the site. Key findings are summarized as below. In the sense that Si-Ca-Al style and less than 0.5% of Ti were found in the non-metallic inclusion, the material used for forged iron ware was magnetite resolved in that. It is, however, unclear whether magnetite was resolved at high temperature or at low temperature. Microscopic structure analysis revealed that forged steel products were made through repeated hot working, the technique of molding by hitting after heating in the process of resolving and molding iron. As a result, the iron used here for the products was not the iron ore which was produced through resolution from discarded cast iron axe, ingot iron. It is probable that to make those steel products, disposed-of cast iron was reused after being molded by decarburizing. Although a few of relics were analyzed for the research, they were of critical importance in defining the process of ironware production from the first century B.C. and the first century A.D. at the Yangsoo-ri region. Judging from the iron from A-19 dwellingsite, it is possible to conclude that the iron was manufactured from cast iron decarburized and yet more research has to be done into relics yetto be exhumed in order to ascertain the finding. All of these findings are believed to play a critical role in further studies to define the steel-manufacturing technique used on the central Korean peninsular in the ancient times.

        시,청각 장애인의 TV 시청동기 측정척도 개발연구

        본 연구의 목적은 시·청각 장애인의 TV 시청동기의 구조를 밝히고, 신뢰도와 타당성이 확보된 측정 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 측정 문항을 개발하고 통계적 타당성을 검증하는 2단계의 조사로 진행되었다. 단계적으로 실시된 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 통해 11개의 측정 항목으로 구성된 시·청각 장애인의 TV 시청동기 측정 항목을 개발하였다. "정보", "상상적 교류", "시간 보내기", "자극/흥분", "성적흥미" 등의 5개 요인으로 구성된 시·청각 장애인의 TV 시청동기 요인은 통계적으로 유의미한 신뢰도와 타당성이 확보 되었다. 주목할 만한 연구결과는 청각 장애인을 대상으로 실시했던 선행연구에서 제외된 3개의 동기 요인을 포함하여 조사·분석한 결과 일반 시청자와 마찬가지로 시·청각 장애인에 있어서도 다양한 TV 시청동기 요인을 확인해 볼 수 있었다. 시청동기 결과는 관습 지향적 동기와 도구 지향적 동기라는 두 가지 형태의 미디어 동기가 시·청각 장애인의 TV 시청동기 구조에서도 확연하게 드러났으며, 특히 시·청각 장애인의 경우 선행연구와 달리 도구 지향적 동기 요인 "정보"가 높게 나타나는 것을 살펴 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 시·청각 장애인의 TV 이용과 관련된 다른 주요 변인(예: TV 시청 선호 채널 및 장르, 시청동기에 영향을 미치는 요인, 장애인 방송 제작·편성 등)과의 인과관계를 밝히는 후속 연구에 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study is to explain the structure of the tv viewing motivation and develop the measurement scale for hearing or visually impaired people which is guaranteed in reliability and validity. The structure of the tv viewing motivation is tested via two-step examination. First, developing the measurement items, and then verifying the statistical validity. Through exploratory factor analysis(EFA) in stages and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA), 5-factors were extracted; "imaginary current", "stimulation/excitation", "information", "sexual curiosity" and "pass time" for the tv viewing motivation. These factors are guaranteed on validity and reliability. The remarkable result of this study is a variety of tv viewing motivation factors such as general tv viewer. The measurement scale of tv viewing motivation we suggest in this study will be also used to find out the relationship of other variables of tv utilization such as "tv viewing patterns", "tv viewing satisfaction" and "Broadcast Disabled" in the a future research.

        저온분사공정을 통한 NiTiZrSiSn 벌크 비정질 코팅의 비정질 분율에 따른 스크래치 반응

        A bulk amorphous NiTiZrSiSn powder produced using an inert gas atomization was sprayed by kinetic spraying process that is basically a solid-state deposition process onto a mild steel substrate. They were successfully overlaid onto the mild steel substrate. In order to evaluate the tribological behavior of the kinetic sprayed NiTiZrSiSn BMG (Bulk Metallic Glass) coatings, a partially crystallized coating and a fully crystallized coating were prepared by the isothermal heat treatments. Tribological behaviors were investigated in view of friction coefficient, hardness and amorphous phase fraction of coating layer. Surface morphologies and depth in the wear tracks were observed and measured by scanning electron microscope and alpha-step. From the examination of the scratch wear track microstructure, transition from the ductile like deformation (micro cutting) to the brittle deformation (micro fracturing) in the scratch groove was observed with the increase of the crystallinity.

        비행입자의 열 에너지에 따른 NiTiZrSiSn 벌크 비정질 분말의 적층 거동

        Mechanical and thermomechanical properties of the bulk metallic glass (BMG) are so unique that the deformation behavior is largely dependent on the temperature and the strain rate. Impacting behavior of NiTiZrSiSn bulk metallic glass powder during kinetic spraying was investigated in this study. Considering the impact behavior of the BMG, the kinetic spraying system was modified and attached the powder preheating system to make the transition from the inhomogeneous deformation to the homogeneous deformation of impacting BMG particle easy BMG splat formation is considered from the viewpoint of the adiabatic shear instability. It is suggested that the impact behavior of bulk metallic glass particle is determined by the competition between fracture and deformation. The bonding of the impacting NiTiZrSiSn bulk amorphous particle was primarily caused by the temperature-dependent deformation and fracture (local liquid formation) behavior.

        진공 열 플라즈마 용사공정을 통한 NiTiZrSiSn 벌크 비정질 코팅 형성

        An inert gas atomized NiTiZrSiSn bulk metallic glass feedstock was sprayed onto the copper plate using vacuum plasma spraying process. In order to change the in-flight particle energy, that is, thermal energy, the hydrogen gas flow rate in plasma gas mixture was increased at the constant flow rate of argon gas. Coating and single pass spraying bead were produced with the least feeding rate. Regardless of the plasma gas composition, fully melted through unmelted particle could be observed on the overlay coating. However, the frequency of the unmelted particle number density was increased with the decrease of the hydrogen gas flow rate. The amorphous phase fraction within coating was also affected by the number density of the unmelted particle.

      • Pseudomonas sp. strain #A1에서 C-P 화합물 분해 유전자의 Cloning

        C-P 화합물(Pn; phosphonate)의 일종인 glyphosate(GPS)를 인산원으로 이용하는 Pseudomonas sp. strain #A1으로부터 GPS 분해 유전자 및 2-aminoethylphosphonate(AEPn), methyl-phosphonate(MPn)와 같은 Pn의 분해 유전자를 클로닝하였다. Mini-Mu plasmid를 이용한 in vivo molecular cloning 결과 약 10-19 Kb의 $AEPn^+$ clones, 10 Kb의 $MPn^+$ clones, 12-18 Kb의 $GPS^+$ clone들을 얻었으며 E. coli의 $\Delta phn$ mutants에 transformation 하였을 때 각각의 Pn에 대한 다양한 phenotype을 나타냈다. 따라서 Pseudomonas sp. strain #A1에서는 적어도 3종류의 Pn 분해대사 경로를 갖고 있는 것으로 예측된다. 뿐만 아니라, 각각의 phn clone($AEPn^+$, $MPn^+$, $GPS^+$)들은 PHO regulon의 조절유전자 phoBR에 의존하여 발현하였다. C-P compounds(Pn; phosphonate) such as glyphosate(GPS), aminoethylphosphonate(AEPn) and methyl-phosphonate(MPn) biodegrading genes were cloned from Pseudomonas sp. strain #A1 Which assimilated GPS as sole phosphorous source. Carrying out the in vivo molecular cloning by means of Mini-Mu plasmid, the size of clones($AEPn^+$, $MPn^+$, $GPS^+$) for the gene to degrade C=P compounds are 10-19Kb, 10Kb, and 12-18 Kb, respectively. Moreover, they expressed the phenotype for each Pn when they were transformed into $\Delta phn$ mutants. Hence, it is postulated that Pseudomonas sp.#A1 has three kind of Pn degradative pathway, separately. The phn clones($AEPn^+$, $MPn^+$, $GPS^+$) are verified as the members of PHO regulon because of their phoBR-dependent characteristics.

        안전한 닭고기 생산을 위한 고병원성 조류인플루엔자 A/H5N1에 항바이러스 효과를 가진 천연 사료첨가제의 탐색

        To search for anit-H5N1 influenza virus agent, the anti-viral activity of methanol and aqueous extracts from thirty medicinal plants were examined in this study. The plant material (30 g) was extracted with methanol (300 mL) for 24 hr at room temperature. Methanol extracts were filtered and evaporated, then freeze-dried. Aqueous extracts were prepared with dried plant material (30 g) and hot distilled water (300 mL). After 3 hr, the aqueous extracts were filtered and evaporated, then lyophilized. Extracts prepared from different plants were tested the antiviral activity against influenza viruses [A/vietnam/1194/04 (H5N1)-NIBRG-14] using the hemagglutination (HA) assay. Among the test plants, Asarum sieboldii was found to be a potent inhibitor of H5N1 influenza virus in MDCK cell culture. Virus titers were 7 log, whereas with methanol extract of Asarum sieboldii for 48 hr titers were 3 log, indicating that methanol extract of Asarum sieboldii inhibited the H5N1 influenza viruses from the infected cells.

        착유우용 배합사료의 부패과정 중 발생하는 저분자 유기화합물의 분석

        In this study, we analyzed for the changes of low organic compounds during 4 weeks incubation though inoculation of harmful microorganisms on commercial feed. Two percent of overnight cultures of Exiguobacterium acetylicum, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, Aspergillus flavus and Fusarium graminearum were inoculated in feed, respectively. After adjusting moisture level to 50% for the promotion of feed spoilage, pH was decreased to 4.58∼5.03 and microorganism was ranged to 6∼10 log<sub>10</sub>CFU/g. The compounds were compare between aflatoxin G1 producing feeds and aflatoxin G1 non-producing feeds. Aflatoxins G1 were detected by the immunoaffinity column clean-up method with HPLC-FLD, and were confirmed in samples incoulated by Aspergillus flavus and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus. Koiganal II, cy-clohexanol and butadien-one were detected from samples (the non-sterilized inoculated feed) by Aspergillus flavus and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus. Respectively as aflatoxin G1 pre-detected substance, Koiganal II, cyclohexanol and butadien-one may be useful substance for the pre-detection of aflatoxin G1.
