Various biowastes from the forest and agricultural industries have been of interest due to their high levels of residual health beneficial components. Chestnut shell is generated as waste during the peeling process in the food industry, and it is rich in many functional compounds, including hydrolyzable tannins. Therefore, the extract of chestnut shell was obtained in hot temperature water, and it was applied to cotton fabrics through a pad-dry-cure technique to explore the possibility of chestnut shell being a useful material in textile finishing. The extract of chestnut shell and the cotton fabrics finished with the extract were investigated thoroughly. As a result, it was found that the chestnut shell extract contained high levels of total polyphenols (21.744 mg/g) and flavonoids (10.295 mg/g). Also, the extract showed antioxidant and antibacterial capacities. In addition, the cotton fabrics finished in the chestnut shell extract also revealed reasonable antibacterial and antioxidant abilities. However, the antibacterial ability of the cotton fabric finished with the chestnut shell extract was significantly decreased towards gram-negative bacteria after 5 laundering cycles.

Edward Formanek, Patrick Halpin 그리고 Wen-chin Winnie Li는 數 K 위의 2個의 2×2 Generic matrix의 Invariant 들로 이루어진 환의 Poincare Series를 계산했다. 그리고 Teranishi는 앞의 결과를 n個의 2×2 Generic matrix인 경우로 확장하고 또 2個의 3×3 Generic matrix의 Invariant들로 이루어진 環의 Poincare Series를 구하였다. 그는 또 2個의 4×4 Generic matrix의 Invariant들로 이루어진 環에 關한 몇 개의 性質을 발견하였다. 본 논문은 Teranishi의 결과를 이용하여 1장에서는 2個의 4×4 Generic matrix의 Invariant들로 이루어진 환의 구조에 관하여 논하고 2장에서는 그 환의 Poincare Series에 관하여 논했다.

In the present study, the influence of key operating factors of sol-precipitation process such as feeding time, agitation speed and TEOS(Tetraethylorthosilicate) concentration for producing monodispersed silica particles was investigated. The modality of particle size distribution depends on the feeding time, agitation speed and TEOS concentration. The high feeding time (above 15 min), high agitation speed(1600rpm) and low TEOS concentration (below 0.35 mol/l) are favorable to produce mono-dispersed silica particle. The bimodal distribution of particle size is due to secondary nucleation of stable primary particles during the feeding.

Combining OFDMA with MIMO is the key technology for the 4G mobile communication. OFDMA can relieve inhernet difficulties of high-speed transmission. MIMO technology can be largely categorized into two techniques: ibe us STC fir duversity gain and the other is SM for high frequency efficiency, In this paper, we deouct various MIMO techniques of two tranmit antenna and compare the computational complexity of decoding process for the techniques. Then, we analysis the performance of the techniques in the WiBro downlink environment based on OFDMA. We perfer ML algorithm which is the optimum performance and ZF algorithm of least computational complexity for SM detection.
나노 $TiO_2$로 가공한 폴리에스터와 나일론 직물의 광분해성에 관한 연구

In this study, we prepared $TiO_2$ nanoparticles $(<\~10nm)$ whose crystalline structure were predominantly anatase. However, during the pad-dry-cure process, many of the $TiO_2$ particles aggregated on the surface of nylon and PET fabrics. The antimicrobial activities and photocatalytic degradation properties of the Ti02 treated nylon and PET fabrics were analyzed and the results suggest that the $TiO_2$ promotes the degradation of the nylon and PET polymers.
