        파지조절 가능한 인간공학 전지가위가 악력과 손가락들의 피로도에 미치는 영향

        Objective: We developed an ergonomic pruning shears that allows the user to freely adjust the width of the grip and conducted this study to examine the effects of the pruning shears on grip strength and the fatigue of the fingers. Method: The maximum grip strength was first measured with an digital dynamometer, and the maximum grip strength was measured again after the subjects repeated scissoring 100 times using general pruning shears or ergonomic pruning shears. Borg s CR-10 scale was used to measure subjective fatigue after using the two pruning shears. Results: When the grip strength values after using the two pruning shears were compared with each other the mean grip strength after using ergonomic pruning shears was 27.69 kg, which was higher than that after using general pruning shears, 25.73 kg (p<.05). The subjective fatigue when the two pruning shears were used was shown to be 3.6 points for general pruning shears and 1.73 points for ergonomic pruning shears (p<.05). Conclusion: After repeating scissoring 100 times, the fatigue of the fingers was lower when ergonomic pruning shears were used than when general pruning shears were used and grip strength was higher when ergonomic pruning shears were used than when general pruning shears were used.

        선택적 척수후근 절제술 후 물리치료의 효과

        Musclee spasticity of Cerebral Palsy children brings abnormal posture and becomes delayed for Normal Motor Development. The objective of this study is to discover the effects of physical therapy on subject paitient' s posture and Normal Motor Development after Selective Posterior rhizotomy. The subject patients were 280 children who had physical therapy for about 4 to 6 months after Selective Posterior Rhizotomy. The sum of points both pre and post operation by using Locomotion stage of Vojta and Arens's grading of Gross Motor Function were compared and evaluated. Among total of 280 Cerebral Palsy children who had 4 to 6 months of physical therapy ; total of 206 children(197 by grade 1, 9 by grade 2) has increased out of 218 spasticity type children, and totoal of 42 has increased (by gradel) out of 48 Athetoid type, and total of 8 jas increased (by grade 1) out of 14 Mixed type Physical therapy for Cerebral Palsy children after Selective Posterior Rhizotomy has enhanced Normal Motor Development and their posture. The therapy also has shown the results of shortening the therapy period and better treatment results.

        새로운 압력 바이오 피드백 기구에 대한 신뢰도 연구

        Objective: The purpose of this experiment is to obtain the reliability of the new pressure biofeedback unit(PBU-1) used in cranio-cervical flexion exercise. Method: The Maximum pressure was measured for 50 persons who satisfied the selection criteria, and reliability between the examiners and reliability between the examiners were obtained by reliability analysis. Results: As a result of measuring the maximum pressure with a conventional pressure biofeedback unit, the correlation coefficient (ICC) between the two instruments was very high at .924. In addition, the interclass correlation coefficient (ICC) value was very high at .963, and the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) value was very high at .959. Conclusion: The newly created pressure biofeedback unit is suitable for use in the neck and has a convenient usability. Also, the correlation coefficient of the new pressure biofeedback unit(PBU-1) is very high, And equipment that can be used for cranio-cervical flexion exercise.

        태권도 경기 중 발생하는 손상에 새롭게 도입된 손,발 보호대가 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of wearing the newly adopted protective gear for the hands and feet to protect national athletes from sustaining sports-related injuries. For this purpose, 4,635 players who participated in 5,212 games of 21 sports events held from April 15, 2004 to July 5, 2007 were polled. The ratio of sports-related injuries was 59.7 before wearing protective gear and 53.5 after wearing protection. As for sites of injury who were before wearing protective gear, the number of players who sustained injuries on the hand, knee, ankle and foot in descending order was 30 (19.4%), 26 (16.8%), 18 (11.6%) and 16 (10.3%), respectively. However, as for wearing protective gear, the number of players who got wounded on the face, knee, hand and the foot region was 23 (5.2%), 14 (15.6%), 13 (12.8%) and 4 (5.5%), respectively, which meant a significant difference (p<.05). As for treating wounds, before wearing protective gear, the number of athletes who received medical treatment through the application of medical tape, dressing, electrical treatment and cold compress in descending order was 49(31.6%), 36(23.2%), 17(11.0%) and 14(9.0%), respectively. However, wearing protective gear received treatment through the application of medical tape and dressing, cold compress and massage in descending order were 28 (25.7%), 13 (11.9%) and 10(9.2%), respectively, which meant a significant difference (p<.05). In conclusion, wearing the newly adopted hand and foot protection reduced the wounds sustained in the hands and feet.

      • 발목관절 도수치료와 스트레칭이 중고령 여성의 균형과 족저압 중심점에 미치는 영향

        This study examines the effects of ankle manual therapy(MT), gastrocnemius Evjenth-Hamburg stretching(ST), and manual therapy & Evjenth-Hamburg stretching(MST) on middle aged female balance, ankle range of motion, and center of pressure. A total of 68 female were divided into three groups of 21, 23, and 24 and then were given one application of each of MT, ST, and MST at three hospitals in Seoul. In order to assess their balance before and after the application, the timed up and go(TUG) test and functional reach test(FRT) were conducted, and center of pressure(COP) migration was measured. A paired t-test was carried out for a before-after comparison of the TUG, FRT, and COP within each group. One-way ANOVA was conducted to compare the amount of change between the groups. Within each group, all of the three interventions showed significant differences in ankle range of motion and TUG within each group(p<.05), while the FRT and COP showed significant differences after the application of ST and MST(p<.05). According to comparison between the groups, ankle range of motion, TUG, and FRT showed significant differences(p<.05), and all of the test results improved in the MST group compared to the other groups. Applying manual therapy and stretching together is a more effective intervention than applying manual therapy or stretching alone. 본 연구는 중고령 여성들을 대상으로 발과 발목관절에 대한 치료적 중재가 여성노인의 균형 및 족저압 이동 분포에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보기 위하여 시행하였다. 연구방법은 68명의 중고령 여성을 대상으로 도수치료 적용군 21명, 스트레칭 적용군 23명, 도수치료와 스트레칭 적용군 24명으로 집단을 나누어 시행하였다. 결과적으로 발과 발목 관절에 대한 치료적 중재에서 도수치료 및 스트레칭 적용군이 발목관절가동범위, 균형, 족저압분포의 이동 면적에서 가장 크게 향상되었음을 보여주었다. 본 연구를 통하여 중고령 여성노인들에게 낙상사고를 예방하기 위하여 발목에 대한 도수치료와 스트레칭이 적절한 치료적 중재라고 사료되며 향후 노인분들의 운동시 참고자료로서 제시하고자 한다.

        파워 보행과 달리기의 운동 강도 비교

        Recently more people are turning to power walking (fitness walking) to improve and maintain their health. But, there was no clinical data of difference between fitness walking and running in exercise intensity. The purpose of this study was to make a comparison of exercise intensity between power walking and running. Twenty one healthy male subjects completed steady state exercise at selected speed of 6∼8 km/hr by power walking and running. The parameters of exercise intensity including heart rate, oxygen consumption and Borg scale of perceived exertion were measured for last 2 minutes of each exercise treadmill test. The results showed that power walking had similar intensity to running in all of the parameters. The intensity of power walking is about 90∼96% of that of running. This study suggests that power walking might be a good alternative aerobic exercise to running.

        The purpose of this research work habits associated with exercise programs for the prevention of chronic back pain for the proposal. The symptoms, areas and causes of musculoskeletal patient's and to analyze during 3month. The results of this study is the lumbar and shoulders a lot out of parts of the disease. To conduct research into literature, which is leading the research results of matches. Cause of long standing position and posture due to inappropriate operation. Low back pain prevention programs in order to conduct a preliminary program to conduct one months. Preliminary results of the program conducted in lumbar stabilizing effect of a strengthening of the abdominal muscles. In addition, the alignment of the spine often lead to effective action. Prevention programs to stimulate lumbar deep layer muscle movement of how to apply. Therefore, to induce contractions transverseabdominis muscle to configure an action-oriented programs. The completed program is thoroughly considering and the working environment and habits, conducted primarily to be considered within the work place. To promote health through exercise programs for both employers and workers, physical and psychological side effects in the economic interests and is expected to bring.

        태권도 경기 중 스포츠 손상에 대한 분석

        The Taekwondo being a martial sports, there are higher chances for the injury to occur than the non martial sports. Therefore, this study analyze th efrequency, the area, the type, and the condition of the injury which are prone to occur in the Taekwondo matches; it is to help the Taekwondo players in prevention of the injury and in treatment. The subjets of thsi study were the 48 players (male 24, female 24) who participated in the final selection contest of the national team player on March 9 to 12, 1993. The data of the injury were obtained from the medical recoder staff and were analyzed to the frequency of the injury per match, the vulnerable area of the injury, the type of injury, and the condition of the injury with a gender difference. There were 24 matches for the male and 24 matches for the female, total 48 matches. Therefore, the total participation number of the players are the double of the match number. 1. The frequency of the injury per match was 18.3%(11/60) for male and 23.1%(12/52) for women. 2. The areas of the injury were ankle 36.4%(4), foot 18.2%(2), knee 18.2%(2). lower leg 18.2%, wrist 9.1%(1), in male: foot 33.4%(4), ankle 16.7%(2), knee 16.7%(2), lower back 16.7%(2), lower leg 8.3%(1), face 8.3%(1) in female. 3. The types of the injury were contusion 45.5%(5), sprain 27.3%(3), abrasion 9.1%(1), laceration 9.1%(1), tendon rupture 9.1%(1) in male: contusion 33.3% (4), sprain 33.3%(4), abrasion 16.7%(2), subcutaneous hemorrhage 8.3%(1), dislocation 8.3%(1) in female. 4. The condition of the injury were the unblocked attack 36.4%(4), attacking kick 27.3%(3), blocking a kick 18.2%, attacking punch 9.1%, impact with surface 9.1%(1) in male: attacking kick 33.3%(4), unblocked attack 25%(3), blocking a kick 25%(3), attacking puch 8.3%(1), impact with surface 8.3%(1) in female. This study shows that the injury from the Taekwondo matches occurred most in the lower extremity joints and the foot, and shows that the most of the injury types were contusion and sprain. Therefore, it is believed to be helpful to wear the proper fitting ankle or the knee protector and using other protective equipment to prevent the sports injury in the Taekwondo matches.

      • 경추디스크 예방을 위한 새로운 형태의 경부베개 개발 및 비교평가

        Objective : Poor head and neck support during sleep can exacerbate the neck pain. Based on the ideal sleep posture and pillow suggested by Cyriax, we designed a new cervical pillow and compared the degree of pain reduction, quality of sleep and pillow satisfaction with a low hospital pillow and a high pillow. Method : The newly designed pillow has a built-in pressured-adjustable air bag in the cervical area and provides normal cervical lordotic curve in supine position and maintains cervical and thoracic vertebrae to form a horizontal line in side-lying position. Thiry-four patients with cervical pain used low hospital pillows for the first week of 3-week randomized crossover design study. They were subsequently randomly assigned to use each of the other two pillows for 1-week period. Outcomes were measured using Visual analog scale. Sleep questionaire, a pillow satisfaction scale. Result : Compared with other 2 types of pillow, Subjects using the newly desinged pillow showed much reduced pain intensity, increased duration of sleep and better satisfaction. Conclustion : We desinged a cervical pillow with built-in pressure adjustable air bag and it can significantly reduce pain intensity and improve quality of sleep in patients with cervical pain.

OBSERVATION: Compared to other 2 pillows, subjects using the new pillow showed much reduced pain intensity, shortened time to fall a sleep, reduced waking- ups during sleep, increased duration of sleep. CONCLUSION: We designed a cervical pillow with built-in pressure-adjustable air bag and it can significantly reduce pain intensity and improve quality of sleep in patients with cervical pain.
