Recently, the new Korean Tilting Train Express(TTX) which maintains a speed on the curve railway line is developed. Electric railways, including the TTX, have electrical problems that could bring about serious accidents. For such reasons, the electric railway's electrical problems, electrical harmonic and others, have been studied briskly. Thus, TTX's electrical problems also need leading studies because the new Korean TTX will operate earnestly in 2012. The results could be used hereafter diagnosis of it's components and train conditions. In the paper, electrical signals in TTX operation were measured to analyze electrical harmonic. In addition, after the electrical signals were measured to operating mode (coasting mode, acceleration mode and regenerative breaking mode) respectively in test section(Ho-nam line, Chung-buk line, Jung-ang line and Tae-baek line). The electrical harmonics considered operating modes triparted were analysed and evaluated.

The train control and monitoring system (TCMS) is an on board computer system in railway vehicles performing the control, supervisory and diagnostic functions of the complete train system. This system replaces a lot of hard-wired relays and minimizes the necessary vehicle wiring thus increasing the reliability of the train. It is also one of more important equipment on vehicle to implement much higher safety and reliability train system. We studied a software design technique of TCMS using a CASE tool that is a kind of safety critical software engineering tool (SCADE). This tool has mainly four functions such as the graphical editor, the document maker, the automatically code generator, and the test simulator. Thc several functions of TCMS are implemented in this software easily programmed using a functional block diagram and a graphic programming language. We applied to automatically generated TCMS modules on the SCADE each functional block for the Standard type EMU in Korea. We performed the combination test using TCMS simulator and the running test in Seoul subway 7 Line. We proved that this technique is more useful for the software design of TCMS in urban transit

본 보고에서는 틸팅열차가 곡선 구간을 주행할 때의 승차감에 영향을 주는 요인에 대하여 검토하고, 완화 곡선 주행의 승차감의 종합 지표를 제안고자 한다. 완화 곡선 구간에 있어 ①좌우 가속도 최대값, ②좌우 진동 잭 최대값, ③롤각 속도 최대값, ④ 롤각 가속도 최대값의 4변수를 산출하고, 그 가중치 합성합을 작성함으로서, 체감과 상관이 높은 평가가 가능하다는 것을 밝혀내고, 또 이 지표는 “좌우 방향의 병진 진동, 회전 진동(롤링) 각각의 최대값(y<SUB>p</SUB>, y<SUB>j</SUB>)과 변화율 최대값(θ<SUB>p</SUB>, θ<SUB>j</SUB>)으로 구성되어 있다”라고 바꾸어 말할 수도 있다. 또한 이런 기계적인 데이터가 과연 인체 신체에 얼마 만큼의 영향을 미치는가에 대한 실험 또한 병행 하였다. Although the riding comfort of tilting trains has been managed by setting allowable limits of roll motion in Korea, it is impossible for this approach to express the psychophysical relationship between various vibrational factors and riding comfort. in order to propose a function to evaluate the riding comfort of tilting train on transition curves, an experiment was performed with the Korea Tilting Tran eXpress(TTX). As a result, by referring to some international standards on the method of evaluating ride comfort, a modified method was proposed to evaluate the lateral vibration in addition to the roll motion on carve transitions.

It’s essential to measure electrical signals of Korea tilting train ""Hanvit 200"" during operation, Because we neep to study operation characteristics of new electric train ""Hanvit 200"" and we want to develop diagnosis system of main circuit of Korea tilting train ""Hanvit 200"". So, we measure electrical signals for developing diagnosis system of ""Hanvit 200"" during operation. We measure voltage and current of the primary winding of main transformer and analyze them. In result, we know that each operation has specific waveform and frequency. In addition, we also measure are currents and are voltage and we know that arc of each situations has specific waveform of pattern.

In this paper, measuring equipment for arcs which are caused by losing contact between a pantograph and a catenary in the electric train, TTX, was designed and we actually measured arcs of current and voltage at 2007. 5. 16 ~ 17, 2007. 5. 31, 2007. 6. 18 - 19 and 2007. 6. 30 ~ 31, a total of 4 times. The FFT tool was made by LabVIEW software and the actually measured arc data were analyzed by the FFT tool. The analysis result showed that the arc current and voltage contains much harmonic, so we must consider problems of EMS and EMI in the main circuit system of the electric train, TTX.

Recently, TTX(Tilting Train eXpress), EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) has operated test. Presently, electric problems(harmonic, voltage variation etc) of TTX are studying briskly. Henceforth, electrical harmonic study of TTX will operate on the rail actually is needed. In this paper, we detected electrical harmonic of operating TTX. In addition to we analyzed and estimated electrical harmonic regarding TTX's coasting, acceleration and braking state.
