당뇨한약복합처방(Herbal Remedy for Diabetes Mellitus-01, HRDM-01)이 당뇨병성 흰쥐의 간 및 혈중 지질에 미치는 영향

Objective: The Herbal Remedy for Diabetes Mellitus-01(HRDM-01) is composed of 11 species of medicinal plants. HRDM-01 is used as anti-hyperglycaemic agent. Anti-hyperglycaemic agents in western medicine often have hepatotoxicities. Therefore, we investigated safety of HRDM-01, especially in liver functions. Methods: We investigated the effects of HRDM-01 on liver function measuring serum AST, ALT and LDH levels and histopathological changes of liver tissue using photomicroscope. In addition, we also investigated the effects on serum lipid levels such as total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and triglyceride. Results: In our experiment, single injection of streptozotocin elevated levels of AST and ALT in serum. But LDH level was not affected. In addition, our animal model showed elevated levels of total cholesterol and triglyceride in serum. 30 days treatment with HRDM-01 lowered serum AST level. Serum levels of ALT and LDH did not affected. In addition, HRDM-01 lowered serum triglyceride level significantly. In histopathological observation, we did not find any abnormal changes in all experimental groups. Conclusions: Briefly, HRDM-01 did not elevate serum levels of ALT, LDH, total cholesterol and did not affect histopathological changes in liver tissues. Moreover, HRDM-01 lowered serum AST, triglyceride, which are elevated by induction of diabetes mellitus. These results suggest the safety of HRDM-01 in diabetic treatment.

Recently due to increasing smart phones users, the wireless network is one of the important infrastructures in a ubiquitous society. In the ubiquitous environment, the core of the wireless network service competition is to provide customers with reliable internet access and fast data transmission. To meet these situations in the wireless network, customers should be allocated to access point with appropriate balance while data transmission speed between customers need to be improved. In this paper, to solve the balanced allocation minimum spanning tree (BA-MST) problem, we propose multi-objective integer programming model with quality of service, and then genetic algorithm with fuzzy logic to solve it. . In addition, the proposed model and algorithm demonstrated the effectiveness by using numerical experiment. The experiment results show that the proposed GA algorithm produces high-quality solutions in reasonable computation times.

본 논문은 지하 환경의 특수성을 고려하여 매설용 센서 노드들의 Cost 인지 라우팅 프로토콜 방안을 제안한 것으로써 UCAR(Underground Cost Aware Routing)라 표현하겠다. UCAR은 소스 노드에서 목적지 노드까지의 전송 홉을 고려함을 기본으로 하나, 전송 홉 이외에도 전송간의 Cost값과 배터리의 잔량을 인지하여 최적의 경로를 선택하는 것을 그 목적으로 하고 있다. 우리가 제안하는 효율적인 지하 환경 라우팅 방법은 기존의 GPSR방식에 비해 패킷 전송간의 목적지 까지의 경로와 전송 노드등의 상태 등을 고려하여 다음 노드를 결정함으로써 PER을 최대 50%이상 향상됨을 실험을 통해 확인 할 수 있었으며, 배터리 사용량을 단축 시키는 장점등을 실험으로 확인하였다.

A deep-sea manganese nodule miner consists of 4 parts: the pickup device, crusher, disposal device, and tracked vehicle. The tracked vehicle is an essential component to keep the self-propelled miner moving across deep-sea soil. The performances of the tracked vehicle are influenced by noise factors: the shear strength of the seafloor, bottom current, seafloor slope, track speed, reaction forces of flexible hose, etc. It is necessary to adopt a robust design method that improves the performances and minimizes the variation caused by noise factors. Taguchi’s method, the most widely known robust design method, searches for the robust optimum using an orthogonal array composed of the product of the inner array and outer array. In this paper, we propose a new screening technique to reduce the number of input factors and apply the MRSN (Multi-Response Signal to Noise) ratio to convert multiple performances into single one in order to overcome the difficulties and limitations of using Taguchi’s method in a case with many input factors and multiple performances. A test miner was already designed and tested. It has about 1/10 the capacity of a commercial one and was successfully operated at an in-shore area. Taguchi’s robust design was applied to the tracked vehicle of the test miner, and design improvements were implemented for the vehicle.
애널리스트 목표가를 활용한 최적 투자의사결정 방안에 관한 연구

Investors aim to maximize the return rate for their own investment, utilizing various information as possible as they can access. However those investors, especially individual investors, have limitations of interpretation of the domain-specific information or even the acquisition of the information itself. Thus, individual investors tend to make decision affectively and frequently, which may cause a loss in returns. This study aims to analyze analysts’ target price and to suggest the strategy that could maximize individual’s return rate. Most previous literature revealed that the optimistic bias exists in the analysts’ target price and it is also confirmed in this study. In this context, this study suggests the upper limit of target rate of returns and the optimal value named ‘alpha(α)’ which performs the adjustment of proposed target rate to maximize excess earning returns eventually. To achieve this goal, this study developed an optimization problem using linear programming. Specifically, when the analysts’ proposed target rate exceeds 30%, it could be adjusted to the extent of 59% of its own target rate. As apply this strategy, the investors could achieve 1.2% of excess earning rate on average. The result of this study has significance in that the individual investors could utilize analysts’ target price practically.
Public and Experts Perception Analysis about Relative Importance of Address of Things Using AHP

Recently the meaning of the road name address is expended as an information through the revision of the Road Name Address Act. As this revision, the address of things (AoT) become more important indicating the possibility for the expansion to the related business. However, recent study about AoT does not concern how the current priority system works from the first research. In this study, we analyze perception about addressable object between AoT experts and public using AHP analysis. We structured the importance of addressable objects as two categories; urgency and value creation. The necessity in emergency or daily, accessibility and welfare conform the urgency index. Meanwhile, public value creation in public domain or profitability in the business area and economics conform value creation index. We conducted survey for total of 89 of experts and public. The results of this study indicate the relative importance of AoT measured by experts and public. Generally, public tend to concern more about accessibility conforming the urgency index than experts. Moreover, the public WiFi and the sports complex scored the high priority among the remain addressable objects, in respect of the urgency and the value creation. This result could be implemented for the activation of the smart city industry base on the geospatial information including AoT.
