        The wireless sensor network consists of a number of sensor nodes which have physical constraints. Each sensor node senses surrounding environments and sends the sensed information to Sink. In order to alleviate the inherent vulnerability in security of the wireless sensor nodes with the hardware constraints, the lightweight security protocol is needed and a variety of research is ongoing. In this paper, we propose a non-hierarchical sensor network and a security protocol that is suitable for monitoring man-made objects such as bridges. This paper, furthermore, explores a two-layer authentication, key distribution scheme which distributes the key and location of a sensor node in advance, and an effective security routing protocol which can take advantage of the Sleep and Awake state. This also results in the increased data transfer rate by increasing the number of alternative routing paths and the reduced energy consumption rate. 무선 센서 네트워크는 물리적인 제약을 가진 수많은 센서 노드들로 구성되어 있다. 각 센서 노드는 주변의 상태를 감지하고, 감지된 정보를 싱크(Sink)로 보내는 역할을 한다. <중략> 본 논문에서는 교량과 같은 인공구조물에 적합한 비 계층적 무선 센서 네트워크 구조를 제시하였다. 또한, 센서 노드들의 휴면(Sleep)과 활동(Awake) 상태를 이용한 효율적인 보안 라우팅 프로토콜과 센서 노드의 키와 위치 정보를 사전에 노드에 분배하는 사전 키 분배 방식 및 2계층 인증 기법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 방식은 대체 경로 수의 증가로 인한 데이터 전송률의 증가와 에너지 소모율의 감소 효과를 보였다.

        여자 중,고등학생의 식품영양표시제 이용과 영양표시 이해도 및 식행동 조사

        This study investigated the use and understanding of food and nutrition labels in 498 female adolescents (middle school students: MS 248, high school students: HS 250) in Gyeonggi-do. Fifty percent of the MS and 47.2% of the HS read food labels, and the most common reasons for reading labels were to find a product`s expiration date and price. The food label information considered most important by the subjects was the name of the manufacturing company and expiration date. Over 80% of the subjects read nutrition labels. The MS read nutrition labels to find nutrients and their amounts in foods, while the HS read labels mostly in an effort to control body weight. These subjects gave more attention to calories and fat, the nutrients related to body weight, than to other nutrients. The subjects were highly aware of the necessity and positive effects of nutrition labels, because they believed labels could make it easier for them to choose healthy foods. However, scores for understanding nutrition labels showed the subjects failed to understand label information accurately. Generally, the MS showed better dietary behaviors than HS. But the HS had significantly higher scores than MS for the item "know relative weight with height." Those that read food labels had significantly better BMIs, dietary behaviors, and awareness and understanding of nutrition labels. There were significant positive relationships among awareness & understanding of nutrition labels and subjects` dietary behaviors. The study findings can be utilized to better plan nutrition education programs aiming to improve use and awareness of food and nutrition labels among adolescents.

      • 교량감시를 위한 센서 네트워크 보안프로토콜

        The wireless sensor network consists of a number of sensor nodes which have physical constraints. Each sensor node senses surrounding environments and sends the sensed information to Sink. The inherent vulnerability in security of the sensor nodes has promoted the needs for the light weight security protocol. In this paper, we propose a non-hierarchical sensor network and a security protocol that is suitable for monitoring the man-made objects such as bridges. Furthermore, we present the efficient way of setting the routing path by storing IDs, MAC(message authentication code) and the location information of the nodes, and taking advantage of the two node states, Sleep and Awake. This also will result in the reduced energy consuming rate.

      • 알코올의 섭취가 흰쥐의 혈액과 간의 지질대사에 미치는 영향

        To investigate the effects of ethanol on the lipid metabolism in blood and liver, twenty one male Sprague Dawley rats had orally taken the 25% alcohol and 50% alcohol by 5g per Kg of weight during 3 weeks after the adjusting period. For the energy balance, 85% sucrose and 45% sucrose was added in control group and 25% alcohol group each. The weight was reduced by alcohol treatment according to the levels, otherwise the weight of liver and heart was little increased in alcohol groups rather than in control without significance. Moreover, RBC, WBC, hemoglobin and hematocrit were increased by alcohol treatment according to the levels without significance. Otherwise, adjusted bilirubin levels by 100g of weight was significantly increased by alcohol treatment dose dependently. Alcohol induced RBC degradation and increased circulated bilirubin because of liver damage. For blood lipid profiles, blood cholesterol was increased in 50% of alcohol group compared to that of 25% and control groups, otherwise, blood triglycerides (TG) was increased by 30% in 25% alcohol groups rather than in control but not significantly different. The hepatic lipid composition, cholesterol levels in alcohol treatment groups was lower than those in control. The hepatic TG was not influenced by alcohol treatment. The two reasons of decreasing hepatic lipids were suggested by 85% sucrose of control for energy balance more synthesized cholesterol and TG than those in 25 or 50% alcohol groups, and by cholesterol and TG could not be synthesized because of liver damage from alcohol.
