Purpose: To evaluate the primary indications, surgical outcomes, causes and risk factors for graft failure in patients with three or more penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) surgeries. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed indications for the initial corneal graft, survival periods, causes and risk factors for failure in 25 patients (26 eyes) who had undergone three or more PKP with minimum follow-up periods of nine months. Results: The most common primary indications were herpes simplex keratitis (26.9%), followed by fungal keratitis (19.2%) and bacterial keratitis (11.5%). The average survival period of graft in three or more PKP was 12.9 ± 9.1 months. As the frequency of PKP increased, the survival period became shorter; the survival period was the longest in pseudophakic bullous keratopathy and the shortest in herpes simplex keratitis. The most common cause of graft failure was allograft rejection (82.8%), and the risk factors for graft failure were short interval between penetrating keratoplasties and corneal neovascularization. Conclusions: In three or more PKP, as the frequency of PKP increases, the survival period becomes shorter. Short interval between keratoplasties and cornel neovascularization were risk factors for graft failure; this results must be considered before surgery. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2011;52(12):1399-1404
동공크기에 따른 미세절개 백내장 수술 후의 고위수차 변화양상

Purpose: To analyze changes of higher-order aberrations (HOAs) after micro-coaxial cataract surgery according to pupil size and to evaluate systemic factors affecting these changes. Methods: Forty-two patients (42 eyes) who had undergone micro-coaxial cataract surgery were followed-up in the present study. HOAs (total RMS, coma, trefoil and spherical aberration) were measured at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months post surgery. Differences of HOAs according to pupil size and systemic factors affecting changes of HOAs were analyzed. Results: Total RMS (1.08 ± 0.89 μm) and spherical aberration (0.03 ± 0.13 μm) were lower in the group with a pupil size between 5.6 and 6.4 mm at 1 month after surgery compared with the group with pupil size lower than 5.5 mm (1.69 ± 0.97 μm, 0.09 ± 0.11 μm) or the group with pupil size larger than 6.5 mm (1.75 ± 0.87 μm, 0.12 ± 0.18 μm), which remained low at 6 months after surgery. Coma and trefoil showed a similar tendency. Patients with diabetes mellitus had smaller pupil size and higher total RMS, coma, trefoil and spherical aberration values at 1 month after surgery compared with patients without diabetes. Conclusions: HOAs were lowest in patients with pupil size between 5.6 and 6.4 mm after micro-coaxial cataract surgery. Patients with diabetes mellitus tend to have smaller pupil size after micro-coaxial cataract surgery and show higher postoperative HOAs. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2012;53(9):1260-1268
MAP 추정법과 Huber 함수를 이용한 초고해상도 영상복원

1984년 처음 SR 알고리즘이 제안된 이후, 많은 SR 복원 알고리즘이 제안되었다. SR의 접근방법 중에서도 공간적 접근방법은 저해상도 이미지의 픽셀 값을 고해상도 이미지 격자에 매핑 함으로써 이루어진다. 이때, 저해상도 이미지들 간의 각각 다른 노이즈와 다른 PSF(Point Spread Function) 함수, 왜곡으로 인해 매핑 시 문제가 된다. 때문에 저해상도 이미지들의 노이즈 성분을 최소화하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 노이즈 성분을 최소화하는 방법으로 L1 norm의 방법을 사용하고 이와 동시에 이미지의 경계를 보완해주는 Huber norm을 사용하는 SR의 구조를 제안한다. 실험에서는 타 알고리즘과의 비교를 통해 제안한 알고리즘이 저해상도 이미지 상에 존재하는 노이즈를 줄이고 이미지 경계부분의 보완을 확인하였다. Many super-resolution reconstruction algorithms have been proposed since it was the first proposed in 1984. The spatial domain approach of the super-resolution reconstruction methods is accomplished by mapping the low resolution image pixels into the high resolution image pixels. Generally, a super-resolution reconstruction algorithm by using the spatial domain approach has the noise problem because the low resolution images have different noise component, different PSF, and distortion, etc. In this paper, we proposed the new super-resolution reconstruction method that uses the L1 norm to minimize noise source and also uses the Huber norm to preserve edges of image. The proposed algorithm obtained the higher image quality of the result high resolution image comparing with other algorithms by experiment.

The purpose of the study was to make clear what a direction to develop physical education or sports as newnationalism physical education suitable to globalism and internationalism in the 21stcentury was. According to results of literary study, the 3rdrepublic of Korea made nationalism physical education of modern Korea by their political judgment that physical education was a good means to develop Korea and to resolve confusion with a slogan of ``physical education is national power``. And the 5threpublic of Korea of tenused sports to get justification of their government. As above, the essence of physical education has been changed by political purpose. Therefore, in physical education of new-nationalism in the present and the future, it is necessary to expand sport for all for improving quality in life and national welfare, the original purpose of physical education.
