연구목적: 본 연구는 상악과 하악의 각 치아부위에 $Lava^{TM}$ All-Ceramic System을 이용하여 지르코니아 전부도재관을 제작하고 각각의 파절강도를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법:중절치와 견치는 절단연의 삭제량을 2.0 mm, 소구치와 대구치는 교합면의 삭제량을 1.5 mm, 그리고 축면 경사도는 $8^{\circ}$로하여모두8군의 실험군을 설정하였다. 금속 다이와 지르코니아 도재관을 제작한 후 레진시멘트 (Rely $X^{TM}$ Unicem)를 이용하여 합착하고 만능시험기상에서 치아 장축에 $30^{\circ}$경사지게 하여 중절치와 견치에 제작된 지르코니아 도재관은 절단연 중앙 부위에 하중을 가하였고, 소구치와 대구치에 제작된 지르코니아 도재관은 기능교두의 협설측 경사면 중앙부위에 하중이 가해지도록 한 후 파절강도를 측정하였다. 결과:1. 지르코니아 도재관의 평균 파절강도는 하악 제1대구치에서 2963 N으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 하악 중절치에서 1035 N으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 2. 지르코니아 도재관과 IPS Empress 도재관과의 평균 파절강도는 모든 치아에서 지르코니아 도재관이 더 크게 나타났다. 3. 지르코니아 도재관의 파절 양상은 하중이 가해진 중앙 부위에서 치아 장축으로 수직적인 파절상을 보였다. 4. 상악과 하악의 동일 부위에 제작된 지르코니아 도재관의 파절강도는 소구치에서 상악이 하악에 비하여 낮은 것으로 나타났으며 (P< .05), 다른 부위에서는 유의한 차이가 없었다 (P> .05). 결론: 본 실험의 결과로 지르코니아 도재관은 임상에서 활용하기에 만족할 만한 강도를 갖고 있음을 알 수 있었다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the fracture strength of the zirconia ceramic crowns according to tooth position. Material and methods: After 10 metal dies were made for each group, the zirconia ceramic crowns were fabricated using CAD/CAM system ($Lava^{TM}$ All-Ceramic System) and each crown was cemented on each metal die with resin cement (Rely $X^{TM}$ Unicem). The cemented zirconia ceramic crowns mounted on the testing jig were inclined with 30 degrees to the long axis of the tooth and the universal testing machine was used to measure the fracture strength. Results: 1. The fracture strength of the zirconia ceramic crown in the lower 1st molar (2963 N) had the highest and that in the lower central incisor (1035 N) had the lowest. 2. The fracture strength of zirconia ceramic crown was higher than that of the IPS Empress crowns in all tooth position. 3. The fracture mode of the crowns was similar. Most of fracture lines began at the loading area and extended through proximal surface perpendicular to the long axis of the crowns. 4. There were no significant differences on the fracture strength of the zirconia ceramic crowns according to tooth position except in premolar group. Conclusion: Within the limitations of this study, the results suggested that strength of zirconia ceramic crown is satisfactory for clinical use.
25세이하 여성에서 발생한 여성형 미만성 탈모증 25예에 대한 임상적 고찰

Background: Androgenetic alopecia (patterned baldness) occurs in both sexes showing different clinical features respectively. In men the hait thinning develops at about 20 years of age with a receding anterior hair line. In women it develops at about 30 years of age but the anterior hair liae is kept intact. Recently we have noticed female pattern baldness in young adult females in their early twenties. Objective : The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical and laboratory features of female patients with early onset patterned alopecia and to assess their therapeutic results. Method : Twenty-five cases of female pattern baldness who sought medical treatment for hair thinning before the age of 25 were examined for their clinical, laboratorial and treatment results. Results : 1. 22.2 years was the average age at which the first medical care was sought and their onset of noticeable hair thinning was on average 18.3 years of age. 2. Aceording to Ludwigs classification, there were 76%(19 cases) with type I alopecia and 24%(6 cases) wit type II. Type III was not found. 3. A family history of patterned alopecia was seen in 56% of the first degree relatives. 4. Associated diseases were as follows: Seborrheic dermatitis(11 cases), hirsutism(9 cases), acne vulgaris(5 cases), menstrual irregularity(5 cases) and one case of each of polycystic ovarian disease, diabetes melitus and pulmonary tuberculosis. 5. Mild to moderate hirsutism was seen in 9(36%) cases in various anatomical locations. The most frequent location was in the linea alba area (6 cases), which was followed by the extremities and upper lip. 6. Serum iron and femtin levels were lower than the normal range in 10 cases(40%) and in 15 cases(60%) respectively, though hemoglobin levels were all normal. 7. Serum total testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate(DHEAS) levels were increased in 52.1% and 52% patients respectively, compared to the normal range in Korean women. 8. In 12 cases who could be followed up for longer than 3 months, 11(90.2%) cases showed improvement in their hair volume on medical treatment. Conclusion : Androgenetic alopecia of females can occur as early as in males. The clinical and laboratory findings of such early female androgenetic alopecia were reported in 25 cases alongside their therapeutic outcomes. (Korean J Dermatol 1998 : 36(5) 827-835)

In this study, the survival rate of fiber is investigated by nozzle size difference in injection/mold sides. The survival rate of fiber is influenced about the nozzle size differ. Also, The mechanical properties of short carbon glass fiber reinforced polypropylene are experimentally measured as functions of fiber volume fraction and nozzle size difference. These mechanical properties are compared with the survival rate of fiber and fiber volume fraction using image analysis after pyrolytic decomposition. The survival rate of fiber as well as fiber volume fraction is influenced by injection processing condition, the used materials, mold conditions and nozzle sides difference, etc, In particular, the survival rate of fiber is great influenced when injection/mold nozzle sides are different more than that of the same. Consequently, the mechanical properties of short carbon/glass firer reinforced polypropylene arc improved as the nozzle sides are the same in injection mold sides.<br/> <br/> <br/>

In this study, estimate of Mechanical Properties depending on Injected direction in Polymer for Automobile Application. The used materials is polyamid(nylon6), polypropylene(PP) of a simple component and its mixed, reinforced glass fiber(15%) in polyamid. One side direction of a simple component is highest strength and the two sides direction of multicomponent appear lowest strength. This is caused by effects of weldline, imperfect fusion and impregnation of multicomponent. To improve mechanical properties, it is necessary to minimize of weldline, compatibility, perfect fusion and impregnation in multicomponent polymer.<br/>
화학물질의 누출과 피부접촉에 의한 재해자 및 사고사망자 발생현황 조사

Objectives: We investigated the status of accidents and deaths caused by chemical leakage and skin contact in Korea. The purpose of this study was to produce and provide technical reference data for the efficient management of accidents and the rational management of accidental chemicals. Methods: Accidents and deaths caused by chemical leakage and skin contact in industry were investigated. Based on 68 accident reports related to chemical leakage and skin contact, the causes of accidental deaths were analyzed. In addition, we investigated the chemical substances and articles that caused these accidents and deaths. Based on the results of the investigation, the causes of accidents caused by chemical leakage and skin contact were identified and practical management measures for the chemicals were suggested. Results and Conclusions: In 2018, 372 people suffered from chemical leaks and skin contact, up by 123 (about 49.4%) from the previous year. The number of accident deaths was 14, an increase of five (about 55.6%) from the previous year. In the last three years (2016-2018), 91 chemical substances and article groups were involved in accidents caused by chemical leakage and skin contact. There were 16 chemical substance and article groups involved in accidental deaths. There were ten cases of accidents involving two or more casualties due to chemical leakage and skin contact, and 23 deaths occurred. Most of these accidental deaths were caused by subcontractor workers outsourcing risks. Therefore, there is an apparent need to strengthen the responsibility for safety and health among subcontractors.

Actinic kratosis can develop dnring PUVA therapy especially at high accumulative doses(more than 1000Joules/cm) but it can also develop at low accumulative doses(lese than 200Joules/cm). PUVA therapy should be done carefully and the dermatologist has to observe the patients skin more closely to detect development of the keratosis. We present a case of multiple actinic keratoses that developed during PUVA therapy in a 53 year old vitiligo patient. They developed during relatively low accumulative dose PUVA therapy(827Joules/cm2). (Korean J Dermatol 1997;35(5): 989-993)

Proximal subungual onychomycosis (PSO) is the rarest form of onychomycosis and most commonly due to Trichophyton rubrum, The fungus initially penetrates the horny layer of the proximal nail fold and subsequently invades the under-surface of the nail plate. PSO has been mainly reported in patients with AIDS and AIDS related complex and may serve as an early clue for the presence of imrnunodeficiency. We report a case of PSO in a 45-year-old woman with reumatoid arthritis who received oral steroid. (Kor J Dermatol 1996;34(2): 341-344)
