Tactile Sensing for Virtual Interaction as a Part of Ubiquitous Game Development

유비쿼터스게임을 디자인하고 개발하기 위하여 현실세계과 가상세계와의 자연스럽고 다양한 상호작용이 필요하다. 이는 물리적인측면 뿐 아니라 상황변화에 알맞은 대응 감지기술을 필요로한다. 이를 위하여 가상세계와의 유저인터페이스 모델을 정의하고 이를 구현하기 위하여 텍타일감지 시스템을 제작하였다. 텍타일 데이터는 외부환경에 민감하므로 신호처리방법을 사용하여 잡음을 제거하고 유저인터페이스를 위한 데이터 형태로 외부입력을 분석 추론하였다. 이는 일반적인 게임에서 사용하는 마우스나 키보드에 따른 입력과 전혀 다른 형태의 입력으로 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 플레이어의 상황대응에 대한 중요한 정보를 제공하여준다. 구현한 시스템을 통하여 가상공간상에 존재하는 공에 작용한 힘을 3차원적으로 분석하여 힘의 위치, 크기, 분포, 방향 등을 분석하는 방법을 제시 해보았으며 이 같은 실세계 정보 분석을 통하여 가상공간상에서 3차원적인 자연스러운 반작용이 가능하도록 하는 가능성을 보였다. 이 같은 방법들은 유비쿼터스 게임의 상호작용 개발을 위한 기초자료로 사용될 수 있다. In order to design and develop a ubiquitous game, it is necessary to develop a natural and flexible interface between the real world and the virtual world, based on social and physical context awareness. We design user interface model and the tactile sensing system that performs virtual interaction and collection of the sensor data. It is sensitive so the collected data should be filtered, rearranged and analyzed. This information is quite different from stylus input, keyboard, button or mouse for interaction. We detect kicked 3D force position of a ball, moment of area, moment of inertia and modified ball shape using tactile sensing system and analyzed data. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach is desirable and robust as well as the results can be used realistic actions and reactions considering attack force and to make interesting environments for ubiquitous game.

온라인 데이터베이스 서비스의 원가계산과 가격결정에 관한 실증적 연구

Based on previous research for end-users information needs, this research is to investigate DB costing method for decision-making on pricing of DB service by critical factors. The first phase of the research classifies the elements of DB product cost accounting by activities of the circulation system of information in DB service. The second phase is to develop model based on results of DB product costing in the first phase of research. The third phase of research is to present the process of DB product cost accounting by applying the model to an on-line service company. Finally, the research develops the pricing decision model to determine the priority of each factor by survey from major on-line service companies in America and Japan. It is essential to research further regarding the DB product costing and pricing methods in order to determine a proper DB service charge. The right Pricing decision in the DB service charge will contribute to the growth of the DB industry. 본 연구에서는 기존 연구된 원가계산방법과 모델을 검토하고, 설문조사를 통한 실태분석과 사례연구를 바탕으로 온라인 데이터베이스 서비스의 원가계산과 가격결정 을 위한 방향을 제시하였다. 데이터베이스화된 정보를 유통시키기 위해서는 데이터베 이스의 합리적인 가격의 책정이 이루어져야 한다. 최적의 가격결정을 위해서는 합리 적인 원가계산이 선행되어야 한다. 첫째, 합리적인 원가계산을 위해서 원가요소와 원 가요소배분에 대한 기준을 설정하였다. 둘째, 원가요소와 배분기준을 적용한 가격결 정 모델을 개발하였다. 셋째, 개발한 가격결정 모델을 대상으로 국내 온라인 데이터 베이스 업체에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 끝으로 미국과 일본의 온라인 데이터베이스 업체들에 설문조사를 실시하여 각사에서 특별히 고려하는 요소를 수출하였다. 일률적 으로 모든 데이터베이스 업체가 같은 가격결정 모델을 사용할 수는 없다. 가격결정은 데이터베이스 서비스를 제공하는 업체 자체의 현상황을 고려해서 자사의 특징과 실정 에 맞는 중요요소들을 개발하여 이루어져야 한다. 결론적으로 최적의 가격결정을 위 해서는 데이터베이스 업체의 미래상과 목표에 부합하는 지속적인 노력이 요구된다. 결국 최적의 가격결정은 데이터베이스 산업의 육성에 초석이 될 것이다.

산중에 위치한 공공보존기록관의 산림화재 방호를 위한 드렌처노즐 수막방호시스템의 실험연구

우리나라 국보급 공공보존기록관의 대부분이 산중에 위치하고 있어 인근의 산불화재 시 만에 하나 착화가 일어나면 보존가치가 큰 기록물의 소실이 우려되는 실정이다. 따라서 인근의 산림화염과 비화불티로부터 국가보존기록 시설을 방호할 수 있는 차단시설의 설치가 필수적이다. 인근 산불의 진화에는 한계를 가지고 있어 별도의 산불화염 수막에 의한 건물외곽의 드렌처 분무 차단시스템이 강구되어야 할 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 산불화염이 주는 고온의 복사열과 비화불티로부터 기록관 창문 등의 개구부 또는 가연성 외장재로의 확산을 차단하는 데 효과적인 드렌처 설비를 개발하여 현장에 시범적으로 적용하여 그 성능을 평가하였다. 성남에 위치한 나라기록관을 대상으로 다양한 드렌처 노즐과 분무유량을 변경하여 시범적으로 설치, 실험하여 분석하였다. 특히 기록관의 높은 건물고(약 30 m)를 고려하여 효과적으로 시설 전체를 방호하기 위해서는 분사 길이가 짧은 소구경 워터스프레이 드렌처 노즐보다는 대구경 워터 스플래쉬식 드렌처 노즐이 효과적인 것으로 분석되었다. 결론적으로 층고에 비례하여 장(長)수막을 형성하기 위해서는 워터 스플래쉬 방식의 드렌처를 사용한 수막시스템이 저비용 및 성능 면에서 가장 탁월하였음을 실험적으로 규명하였다. Most of Korea National Archives among the mountain exposed to forest fire environments, therefore, people has worried about their burn-out from neighbouring forest fires. It is necessarily protected from both flame radiant and flying fire-flakes. It has investigated that special water-screen protection system become one of the alternatives for preventing them from neighbouring forest fires due to limitation on extinguishing ability of fire regional fire departments. This study has focused on a development and assessment of various water-screen protection system formed by drencher nozzles for prevention the Nara national archive facility from igniting flame radiant and fire-flakes. Because a water-screen protection system using water-splash nozzles installed on surrounding roof-top line only has proved very effective, we could accept the effect of binding capacity of splash water droplets in terms of screening films`s quality.

IT운영리스크 최소화를 위한 피해저감모델 구현에 관한 연구

To minimize IT operational risks and the opportunity cost for lost business hours. it is necessary to have preparedness in advance and mitigation activities for minimization of a loss due to the business discontinuity. There are few cases that banks have a policy on systematic management, system recovery and protection activities against system failure. and most developers and system administrators response based on their experience and the instinct. This article focuses on the mitigation model development for minimizing the incidents of disk unit in IT operational risks. The model will be represented by a network model which is composed of the three items as following: (1) the risk factors(causes, attributes and indicators) of IT operational risk. (2) a periodic time interval through an analysis of historical data. (3) an index or an operational regulations related to the examination of causes of an operational risk. This article will be helpful when enterprise needs to hierarchically analyze risk factors from various fields of IT(information security, information telecommunication, web application servers and so on) and develop a mitigation model. and it will also contribute to the reduction of operational risks on information systems.
