        The WTO(World Trade Organization) meetings for service negotiations started in February in 2000. Since then, the member countries have discussed the tourism sector and their expectations and methods of liberalization, based on the proposals they have submitted. The Republic of Korea had already opened hotels and restaurants, travel agencies and tour operator services, and tourist guide services, preceding of WTO service negotiations. However, to comply with the terms of the negotiations, the domestic laws and systems related to tourism should be analyzed according to their adherence to the principles of GATS(General Agreement on Trade in Services), which include market access and national treatment. Thus, the purposes of this study were two-fold: first, regarding the two basic principles of GATS(market access and national treatment), the articles of the administrative laws relating to tourism were examined. Second, proposals from the tourism sectors in the US, Canada, Dominique, EC, Switzerland, and Japan were also summarized and reviewed. Proper responses to service negotiations were proposed based on the results of this analysis. As a result, I can support the GATS classification(w/120) of tourism and the liberalization of tourism in other WTO member countries. I can also support the elimination of obstacles such as economic need tests and nationality requirement. 'Others' category should be considered more carefully according to the competitiveness of the given industry.

        Currently there is fast flow of America and South Korea FTA negotiation being issued. Aim of FTA, by having free trade between two countries to gain their economical benefit. Few benefits can be expected by Korea joining FTA with America It will increase export as well as increase in overseas investment and this will lead to booming of services industry. After America and Korea FTA Discussion being announced around the world, Australia and EU also has interest of doing FTA with South Korea, which mean that America and Korea FTA has effect of bring in the overseas interest of FTA to South Korea. Expectation of American can be, create the market in South Korea to gain benefit as well as able to check out the economical issue of north east Asia country such as China and Japan. Since American side has high agreement with the make FTA with South Korea, South Korea now has to make own decision about this matter. Since Korean economy highly influence by world trade, to survive from market competition with China and Japan, Korea must involve in Free trade with world.

        지역문화축제 방문자의 전반적 만족과 재방문의도의 결정요인에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to measure the factors of determination on visitor’s satisfaction and revisit intention level of the “2011, Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival”. The survey was conducted for visitors who attended the Festival and 392 samples were collected. This research data is analyzed by 4 statistical techniques, which are factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis by SPSS 18.0 program. As a result, the visitor’s satisfaction is influenced by content of festival, souvenir, food and convenient facilities; revisit intention is influenced by content of festival and food; and revisit intention is influenced by visitor’s satisfaction. Therefore, it was clearly seen that content of festival and food is important factors of the Festival. This study provides policy suggestions that will aid in establishing marketing planning for the managers and directors of regional culture festival.

        무역전시회 참가업체 성과의 선행요인과 결과요인의 관계에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the loyalty of exhibitors about repeated exhibition participation through service quality, cognitive achievement, and satisfaction from exhibitors. Through verifying the fact that there is the relationship between cognitive quality and cognitive achievement in exhibitions, exhibitors could be constantly encouraged to participate in exhibitions. In this study, both of the exhibitors' cognitive achievement and satisfaction are considered as exhibitors' achievement. Additionally, the essence of the research model is that service quality is concerned as a mediator of exhibitors' achievement to enhance the exhibitors' loyalty which is measured as a singular concept.

        상품무역 증진을 위한 부산항의 발전 전략 - 주요 중국 항만들과의 비교를 중심으로

          동북아 지역에서의 무역과 투자의 집중은 해운항만의 급격한 변화와 물류흐름을 변경시키고 있다. 이에 따라 동북아지역에서는 중국의 상하이, 선전, 칭다오, 일본의 도쿄, 요코하마, 대만의 카오슝, 우리나라의 부산항 등이 동북아 물류거점항이 되기 위하여 치열한 경쟁을 벌이고 있다. 부산항은 과거 지정학적인 장점과 국내 경제발전을 근거로 한 수출입물동량의 성장세를 발판으로 발전해왔으나 기반시설에 대한 적기투자 지연, 선택과 집중의 측면에서 상하이항에 비해 상대적인 어려움에 봉착하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 중국의 장강삼각주(長江三角洲), 주강삼각주(珠江三角洲), 환발해만(環渤海灣)의 3대 경제권의 발전과 상하이 양산항, 선전항, 칭다오항, 텐진항 등의 항만들의 물류와 발전과정을 살펴보았다. 아울러 부산 북항의 부두시설 현황, 부두별 컨테이너 처리실적과 부신 신항의 사업계획 등을 분석하고 부산 신항과 상하이 양산항의 경쟁력 비교를 통하여 차이점을 분석한다. 이에 따라 부산항이 환적, 중계화물 및 연안화물의 유치를 통하여 경쟁력을 확보하고 동북아 중심항만으로 역할을 하기 위한 세부적인 전략을 제시하였다.   The purpose of this paper is to present some efficient strategies of Busan port for facilitating commodity trade through analysis of major ports in China. As China has become a global manufacturing center as well as a manufacturing powerhouse with its high economic growth rate, China"s logistics industry has entered a stage of fast growth and the demand of logistics infrastructure and the third party logistics service are increasing rapidly.<BR>  As the port environment is rapidly changing in North-east Asia, the main ports in the same region are intensively competing with each other for hub-port. In terms of geopolitical position, locational conditions and external reputation of ports, Busan port has a comparative advantage in comparison with main ports in other ports. But in terms of weight of transhipment cargoes in total container cargos, the quality of infrastructure in ports, the environment of logistics service and the cost of using ports, Busan port has a comparative disadvantage.<BR>  Therefore, Busan port has to struggle to increase value-added of port through rearrangement of existing terminal facilities. It is also suggested that the policy has to be concentrated on having various port functions such as multi-purpose terminals, exclusive car terminals and facilities for ship repair and sightseeing. It is needed to take measures to make Busan New port serve as the central port of Northeast Asia by creating a railroad transportation and offering incentives to shipping companies in using new ports. It is also required to prepare a plan for using rewarded lands in connection with ports for more efficient use of development complex behind port.

        PPA 기법을 통한 전시회 웹사이트의 특성 연구

        This study is performed in order to contribute to the development of exhibition website by finding out influential features which enhance the quality of exhibition websites. The positions of each selected exhibition was examined though PPA(preference and participation analysis) and the second quadrant on the PPA matrix which represents high preference and low participation was focused in this research. In order to investigate particular reasons that affect high preference and low participation of exhibition participants, the four major factors of websites were used and influential features in exhibition websites were figured out. Based on the results of this study, Invention Patent Exhibition and Festive Gift Fair were highly preferred and lowly participated compared to other three exhibitions. After finding the second quadrant located exhibitions, the four website features such as trustworthiness, veracity, usefulness and convenience were investigated. The results indicated that the website of Invention Patent Exhibition showed low veracity compared to other three features and the website of Festive Gift Fair showed low convenience. Therefore, exhibition website managers should consider influential website features, especially, veracity and convenience of exhibition website information and service in order to enhance the quality of exhibition website features and increase exhibition participation.
