This study was performed to investigate out-of-pocket money among medical expenses of an oriental medical university hospital by the use of internal data of an oriental hospital because medical insurance program data could not show us insuree's out-of-pocket money among medical expenses. The purpose of this study was to analyze out-of-pocket money among medical expenses of ambulatory and hospitalized patients. Under this purpose, We analyzed actual medical expenses data of 1389 out-patients and 858 in-patients of the oriental medical university hospital with 90 beds that could be approach to internal data from July 1, 1998 to March 31, 1999. The major findings are as follows : 1. In ambulatory patients, the cost share ratio of insuree & that of insurer was 90 : 10 respectly. 2. In hospitalized patients, the cost share ratio of insuree & that of insurer was 72 : 28 respectly.
An empirical identification of types of organizational learning systems

We tried to empirically identify types of organizational learining systems based on seven learning orientations proposed by Nevis et al using samples from Korean companies Three types of learning systems were derived using cluster analysis Individualistic Learners, Collective Learners, and Process Learners Collective Learners showed best performance among the three groups, implying that firms may need to take collective learning approach to survive and prosper in changing environments.
음이온 생성을 위한 표면 유전체장벽방전의 설계조건 연구

his paper describes a study of the design conditions of a planar surface dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) reactors for generating negative air ions. The capacity of negative air ion generated by the surface DBD reactor is affected by the shape, area ratio and the location of the discharge and induction electrodes of it. To study the optimal design conditions of DBD reactors, the electrodes printed on the substrate of a PCB board is utilized to conduct kind of experiments: the distance of the each electrode along with the X-Y axis, the area ratio of the discharge electrode to induction electrode, and the symmetrical and asymmetrical location of two electrodes. The ion generation capacity is inverse proportional to the gap increases along with X-Y axis. And the optimum ion concentration generated by the ionizer was inspected when the electrodes area ratio was 3 and 5 times of the symmetrical and asymmetrical experimental condition respectively.

Recently, the semiconductor industry as well as the optical industry such as the optical communication and the optical instrument is developed rapidly. Transport systems which are the important part of the factory automation have much influence on improving productivity. Object transport systems are driven typically by the magnetic field and the conveyer belt. In recent years, the industry requires faster and more efficient transport system. However, conventional transport systems are not adequate for transportation of optical elements and semiconductors. The reason is that conveyor belts can damage precision optical elements by the contact force and magnetic systems can destroy the inner structure of semiconductor by the magnetic field. In this paper, the levitation transport system using ultrasonic wave is developed for transporting precision elements without damages. Vibration modes of each flexural beam are verified by using Laser Scanning Vibrometer.

Practical scope of optical elements broadens considerably such as the optical instrument, the optical communication and electronic products. Also, demands of optical components are growing due to increase of productivity. Object transport systems are driven typically by the magnetic field and the conveyer belt. However, conventional transport systems are not adequate for transportation of optical elements and semiconductors. Because conveyor belts can damage precision optical elements by the contact force and magnetic systems can destroy the inner structure of semiconductor by the magnetic field. In this paper, the object levitation transport system using ultrasonic wave is developed for transporting precision elements without damages. Principle of object transportation is similar ultrasonic motor's one. This transport system is using 2-mode ultrasonic wave excitation and modes shapes of flexural beam are evaluated by the theoretical analysis. Direction of object transportation is changed by phase difference.

The research and development of an actuator are accelerating in the robotics industry. The EAP(electro-active polymer) and SMA actuator are designed simply and produce a lot of forces per unit volume. Their motions are similar to human's motion. But the repeatability of the electro-active polymer actuator is lower. The reaction velocity of the SMA actuator is slow and the travel is short. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of the digital step motor(DSM) using SMA is studied. The SMA wire is divided by using the TEM(Thermo-electric module) to control each of segments independently. The MOSFET circuit is used to supply constant currents for the TEM. The hysteresis and displacement of the SMA wire according to load are measured.

Recently, as the infocomindustry is developed, the semiconductor industry as well as the optical industry such as the optical communication and the optical instrument is developed rapidly. The transmission, storage and processing of information have been reaching an limit because amounts of information increase sharply. demands of optical components are growing due to demands of faster network. The transport and inspection process are time consuming and the error rate is high, because this process is not automated in case of an optical lens. In this paper, the pick-up system which can grasp optical elements transferred by the ultrasonic transport system and move them to other transport system is developed. The inspection system which distinguishes between the existence and the nonexistence of a defect is connected easily to pick-up system. The pick-up system separates the optical glass lens by results of the inspection. The automation program is developed by visual c++ programming.
새로운 바이어스 회로를 적용한 S-band용 저잡음 증폭기 및 믹서의 One-Chip 설계

본 논문에서는 S-band 대역에서의 수신단 one-chip MMIC 저잡음 증폭기, 믹서의 설계 및 제작, 측정에 관한 연구를 수행한다. 저잡음 증폭기는 공통 소스 구조의 2단으로 설계하였으며, 믹서는 LO 및 RF balun으로 구성되고, 이는 능동 소자를 이용하여 구현하였다. 각 능동 소자의 공정상의 변화를 보상하기 위하여 새로운 바이어스 안정화 회로를 적용하였다. 그리고 이를 단일 칩으로 구현, 제작하였다. 측정 결과로 저잡음 증폭기는 2.1 GHz에서 15.51 dB의 이득과 1.02 dB의 잡음지수를 가지고 있으며, 믹서의 변환 이득은 -12 dB이며 IIP3는 약 4.25 dBm, 포트간 격리도는 25 dB 이상의 값을 가진다. 제안된 새로운 바이어스 회로는 FET와 저항으로 구성되며 공정상의 변화와 온도의 변화 등에 의한 문턱 전압의 변화를 보상해 줄 수 있다. 제작된 칩의 크기는 $1.2[mm]\times1.4[mm]$이다. In this paper, the study of a design, fabrication and measurement of the receiver MMIC LNA, mixer for S-band application is described. The LNA is designed by 2-stage common source. The mixer is composed of active LO and RF balun to integrate on a chip and applied a newly proposed bias circuit to compensate the process variations of active devices. The LNA has 15.51 dB-gain and 1.02dB-Noise Figure at 2.1 GHz. The conversion gain of the mixer is -12 dB, IIP3 is approximately 4.25 dBm and port-to-port isolation is over 25 dB. The newly proposed bias circuit is composed of a few FETs and resistors, and can compensate the variation of the threshold voltage by the process variations, temperature changes and etc. The designed chip size is $1.2[mm]\times1.4[mm]$.
