It was carried out a review of operating limit analysis for small high-speed boat by author. In general, a review of ship's seakeeping performance is performed in the step of ship design, but this study was carried out in the state of completion of boat. Motion performance of Pitch, Vertical and Lateral acceleration and Slamming were satisfied in some encounter angle but deck wetness was not satisfied in all it does the analysis. As a result, sea state rather than the speed and encounter angle of vessel have a greater effect on the seakeeping performance of target vessel. It seems to be due to the size of the target ship.

Recently repair and reinforcement of large-sized reinforced concrete structures have been interested, because of their early deterioration and durability deterioration as time goes by. And adequate repair method has been required urgently in order to cope with these repair works which are growing bigger and larger. As one of appropriate repair method, spraying method has been discussed and applied job site recently. This study is focused on the examination of quality stabilization dry mortar which is transferred mechanized and automated dry and wet compounded system. It is investigated that two important equipments are transfer hose wave and dry mixing hopper to increase material separation resistivity. In case of material transferred hose wave and dry type mixing hopper, quality stabilization shows much better result than not transferred. And appropriate transfer pressure and distance to decrease material separation is 0.8~0.9 bar and 150m. It is believed that the effect of shortening term of works and cost reduction will be expected by this mechanized and automated concrete repair system
현지국의 경제발전과 집단주의 수준이 한국 다국적기업의 해외자회사 소유지분 결정에 미치는 영향

In this study, we examine ownership strategy of Korean MNEs in their foreign subsidiaries based on social psychology, especially social identity theory. We suggest that MNEs originating from the less developed economies are likely to take a higher ownership stake to make less severe liabilities of origin in the form of out-group derogation where the level of economic development of the host country is more advanced relative to that of the home country. We also propose that in-group collectivism cultural value positively moderates the relationship between the level of economic development of the host country and the ownership stake in a foreign subsidiary. These propositions are generally supported by ordered logistic regression analysis and the Tobit regression analysis of 235 subsidiaries established by 94 Korean MNEs that operated in 32 countries.
다국적기업 자회사 현지 직원 조직일체감의 선행요인과 결과

In this study, we examine antecedents and consequences of host country nationals` organizational identification in MNE subsidiaries in Korea based on social psychology theory, especially social identity theory. We suggest that the level of home country economic development positively and the parent`s ownership stake in the subsidiary negatively influence on the host country nationals` organizational identification. In terms of strategic autonomy, strategic leader relates with higher levels of organizational identification than implementer by virtue of its higher level of strategic autonomy. We also posit that host country nationals` organizational identification is positively affected by the international assignment opportunity. In addition, we hypothesize a positive relationship between host country nationals` organizational identification and their work engagement. These propositions are strongly supported by path analysis and Sobel test of 503 host country nationals in 75 MNE subsidiaries that originating from 24 countries. We discuss the theoretical and managerial implications, and provide suggestion for future research.
한국 제조기업의 개인, 집단성과급 수준이 직원들의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 외국인 지분의 조절효과

In this study, we examine the effects of the pay for performance on the organizational commitment of the employees in Korean manufacturing companies based on expectancy theory, reinforcement theory, goal-setting theory and relative deprivation theory. We suggest that the level of individual-based pay for performance negatively and the level of group-based pay for performance positively influence on the organizational commitment of the employees. In addition, we propose that foreign ownership negatively moderates the relationship between the level of pay for performance and the employees’ organizational commitment. These propositions are generally supported by the hierarchical regression analysis of 4,531 employees in 200 Korean manufacturing companies. We discuss the theoretical and managerial implications, and provide suggestion for future research.

해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 통제 방식이 자회사 현지 직원의 문화적응 스트레스에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 다국적기업 해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 세 가지 통제 방식(집권화, 공식화, 규범적 통합), 자회사 현지 직원의 상대적 박탈감과 문화적응 스트레스 간의 관계에 대한 것이다. 기존 문헌 검토를 통해 도출한 가설은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 집권화 수준은 자회사 현지 직원의 상대적 박탈감에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 집권화 수준이 높을수록 자회사 직원들의 자기 결정, 자존감, 자유 재량권 등이 감소하기 때문에 본국 또는 제 3국 출신 직원들에 대한 자회사 현지 직원들의 상대적 박탈감은 증가하는 것이다. 둘째, 해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 공식화 수준은 자회사 현지 직원의 상대적 박탈감에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 공식화 수준이 높을수록 본사가 자회사를 감시, 감독하는 정도가 증가하고, 자회사 현지 직원들이 보다 높은 수준의 역할 갈등을 경험하기 때문에 본국 또는 제 3국 출신 직원들에 대한 자회사 직원들의 상대적 박탈감은 증가하는 것이다. 셋째, 해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 규범적 통합 수준은 자회사 현지 직원의 상대적 박탈감에 부(-)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 해외 자회사에 대한 본사의 규범적 통합 수준이 높을수록 공동의 규범과 가치관을 강조하며, 본사와 자회사 간의 의사소통이 원활하게 이루어지기 때문에 본국 또는 제 3국 출신 직원들에 대한 자회사 직원들의 상대적 박탈감은 감소하는 것이다. 넷째, 자회사 현지 직원의 상대적 박탈감은 자회사 현지 직원의 문화적응 스트레스에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 자회사 현지 직원들이 상대적 박탈감을 느낄수록 다국적기업 본국의 문화에 적응하지 못하고, 자신의 문화적 정체성에 혼란을 느끼기 때문에 자회사 현지 직원들의 문화적응 스트레스는 증가하는 것이다. 8개국 출신, 25개 다국적기업 자회사에 근무 중인 242명의 현지(한국인) 직원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 자료를 활용하여 구조방정식 모형분석과 소벨 테스트 등을 통해 이상의 가설들을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 결론 부분에서 본 연구의 의미와 시사점에 대해 논의하였으며, 아울러 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다. In this study, we examine the effects of headquarters (HQs) control mechanisms on the host country nationals (HCNs)’ relative deprivation and acculturative stress in multinational enterprise (MNE) subsidiaries in Korea. First, we hypothesize that HQs centralization positively influence on the HCNs’ relative deprivation because the HQs centralization lower the level of self-determination, self-esteem and managerial discretion of HCNs. Second, we hypothesize that HQs formalization positively influence on the HCNs’ relative deprivation because of greater HQ control over the subsidiary, which in turn is associated with a higher level of role conflict and job stress of HCNs. Third, we hypothesize that HQs normative integration negatively influence on the HCNs’ relative deprivation by virtue of extensive and open communication between the HQs and subsidiary managers. Lastly, we hypothesize that the HCNs’ relative deprivation positively influence on the HCNs’ acculturative stress because acculturative stress include issues such as perceived cultural incompatibilities, perceived acculturation gap and mental health problems. These propositions are strongly supported by structural equation modeling and Sobel test of 242 HCNs in 25 MNE subsidiaries that originating from 8 countries. We discuss the theoretical and managerial implications, and provide suggestion for future research.
한국 진출 다국적기업 자회사의 인력구성 정책이 자회사 현지 직원의 조직동일시에 미치는 영향

In this study, I examine the effect of international staffing practices on the host country nationals (HCNs)` organizational identification (OI) in multinational enterprise (MNE) subsidiaries in Korea based on social psychology theory, especially social identity theory and self-categorization theory. This study suggests that the proportion of foreign expatriates in MNE subsidiaries negatively and the international assignment opportunities for HCNs positively influence on the HCNs` OI. And I propose that the staffing CEO positions with expatriate parent country nationals negatively influence on the HCNs` OI. In addition, I hypothesize that the perceived career prospect in the subsidiary and the perceived access to the organizational hierarchy regardless of nationality within the MNE headquarter are likely to foster the HCNs` OI. Moreover, I posit that the cultural distance weakens the negative relationship between the proportion of foreign expatriates in MNE subsidiaries and the HCNs` OI. I further propose that the level of home country economic development negatively moderates the positive relationship between the international assignment opportunities for HCNs and the HCNs` OI. These propositions are generally supported by hierarchical regression analysis of 505 host country nationals in 75 MNE subsidiaries that originate from 24 countries. I discuss the theoretical and managerial implications, and provide suggestion for future research.
주재원 비율과 다국적기업 자회사 현지 직원의 조직일체감 간의 관계

본 연구는 한국 내 다국적기업 자회사의 주재원 비율과 현지 직원의 조직일체감 간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 본 연구는 다국적기업 자회사의 주재원 비율과 현지 직원의 조직일체감 간의 관계에서 주재원 비율이 조직일체감에 미치는 영향은 긍정적인 측면과 부정적인 측면이 모두 존재한다고 주장하였다. 이상의 주장을 검증하기 위해 24개국 출신, 77개 다국적기업 자회사에 근무 중인 505명의 현지 직원들을 대상으로 실증분석을 진행한 결과, 다국적기업 자회사의 주재원 비율과 현지 직원의 조직일체감 간에는 수평형 S-곡선 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 이론적, 실무적 시사점과 향후 연구방향에 대해 서술하였다. In this study, I examine the relationship between expatriate proportion and host country nationals’ organizational identification in MNE subsidiaries in Korea. A proposed theoretical framework for the study of expatriate proportion and host country nationals’ organizational identification includes both benefits and costs of expatriate staffing over different phases of expatriate proportion. Data on 505 host country nationals in 77 MNE subsidiaries that originate from 24 countries show a consistent horizontal S-shaped relationship between expatriate proportion and host country nationals’ organizational identification. I discuss the theoretical and managerial implications, and provide suggestion for future research.
한국 진출 다국적기업 자회사의 사회책임활동이 자회사 현지 직원들의 조직동일시와 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향

In this study, we examine the effect of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of multinational enterprise (MNE) subsidiaries in Korea on the host country nationals (HCNs)’ organizational identification (OI) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) based on social identity theory and signaling theory. This study suggests that the corporate social responsibility of MNE subsidiaries positively influence on the HCNs’ OI. In addition, we propose that the cultural distance and the parent’s ownership stake in the subsidiary positively moderate the relationship between the CSR and the HCNs’ OI. Moreover, we hypothesize a positive relationship between the HCNs’ OI and OCB. These propositions are generally supported by hierarchical regression analysis of 505 HCNs in 75 MNE subsidiaries that originate from 24 countries. We discuss the theoretical and managerial implications, and provide suggestion for future research.
