Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) have taken much attention due to their low cost and easy fabrication method compare to silicon solar cells. But research on cost effective DSC is prerequisite for commercialization. Fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) which have been commonly used for electrode substrate as electron collector occupied most percentage of manufacturing cost. Therefore we studied FTO-less DSC using sputtered Ti deposited glass as photoelectrode instead of FTO to reduce manufacturing cost. Ti films sputtered on the glass for different time, 5 to 20 minutes with decreasing sheet resistance as deposition time increases. A light source illuminated to counter electrode in order to overcome opaque Ti films. The efficiency of DSC (Ti20) made Ti sputtered glass for 20 min as photoelectrode was 5.87%. There are no significant difference with conventional cell despite lower manufacturing cost.
공공부조제도의 현금급여 및 서비스 사각지대 경험에 관한 연구 -빈곤 여성 한부모를 중심으로-

2014년부터 사각지대에 대한 다양한 정책 대안을 제시하고 있지만 빈곤 여성 한부모 가족을 중심으로 하는 생계형 사고는 끊이지 않고 발생하고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구는 이러한 배경에서 공공부조제도를 이용한 여성 한부모들의 현금급여 및 서비스 사각지대 경험을 규명하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 현금급여의 사각지대에서는 대상의 포괄성 사각지대와 급여 충분성 사각지대가 나타났다. 첫째, 대상의 포괄성 측면으로 신청절차가 복잡하거나 그 과정에서 모멸감을 느껴 수급 신청동기가 저하되거나 부양의무나 근로능력을 증명해야 하는 고통으로 인해 지치게 될 때 빈곤 여성 한부모들은 사각지대에 머무르게 되었다. 둘째, 급여의 충분성 측면으로 수급을 하더라도 자녀를 돌보는 것에 불안감을 느끼거나 지원 정책이 현실적인 주거 필요를 채우지 못할 때 사각지대가 나타났다. 다음으로, 서비스 사각지대에서는 비인지ㆍ접근성 사각지대, 불만족 사각지대가 드러났다. 첫째, 비인지ㆍ접근성 사각지대는 제도에 대한 정보를 적극적으로 요구하기 어렵거나 아이돌봄서비스 이용에 제약이 있을 때 발생했다. 둘째, 불만족 사각지대는 물품지급 절차상 상세한 안내 및 배려가 없거나 한부모가족복지시설에서 검열이나 훈육을 당할 때 나타났다. 위의 분석결과를 토대로 공공부조제도의 사각지대를 개선하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. Families of female single parents are still on the margin of bare subsistence although various policy alternatives for non-take-up have been proposed since 2014. This study, therefore, aims to investigate the multifaceted experiences of female single parents who have been used or tried to use public assistance benefits. The results of this study show that the female single parents in poverty have been experiencing barriers to public assistance benefits in various aspects. First, the non-take-up of cash benefits are caused by the barriers to inclusiveness and sufficiency. In terms of barriers to inclusiveness, the problems such as the complexity of the public assistance system, the policy experiences of stigmatization, the unrealistic rules of ‘family support obligation’, and the difficulties to proving the working incapacity have made single parents give up whole application process. In terms of barriers to sufficiency, the participants of this study revealed that they have experienced anxiety raising their children due to the insufficient cash benefits and also that they suffered from lack of timely and suitable housing supports and the insufficient information related to housing support policy. Second, the non-take-up of service benefits was analysed into two types: ‘non-perceived/accessibility’ and ‘unsatisfactory’ non-take-up. In the aspects of ‘non-perceived/accessibility non-take-up’, the non-take-up was occurred when the participants perceived that it is difficult to inquire sufficient information about the policy and programs and also that it is restricted to use child care services. Last, it is found from this study that ‘unsatisfactory non-take-up’ was stemmed from the way the goods and services were delivered and also from the inappropriate censorship and discipline perpetrated in the welfare facilities for single parent families. With the results, various improvements to public assistance policy for female single parents in poverty have been proposed.

Purpose: This study investigated the relationship between smartphone addiction propensities and compare muscle activity of the forearms and brain wave depend on the type of smartphone when inputting text messages. Method: We used an EMG to measure the change in muscle activity by attaching pads to the four muscles in both forearms of all 16 participants. We simultaneously conducted EEG measurements by observing the changes in alpha and beta waves recorded from electrode attached to both ears and the forehead of the participants. The participants had to input a given text using three different types of smartphones for ten minutes each. Result: The comparison of the EMG when inputting text involved a one way analysis of variance and the results showed that the iPad3 was highest for muscle activity followed by GALAXY Note2 and iPhone4. For EEG measurement, a one way analysis of variance was also used and the results showed iPhone4 was higest followed by GALAXY Note2 and finally iPad3 for EEG stress score. Conclusion: The results are thought to be used as reference data for smart phone users.

In this study, the ZnO nanorod is grown on the seed layered glass substrate by applying an external electric field to fabricate the ZnO nanorod with the high quality and to increase the yield of the ZnO nanorod. It is possible to grow the definite and clear hexagonal ZnO nanorod as the cathode of the high voltage is connected to the side of the seed layered glass substrate and the anode is connected to the opposite side because more Zn<SUP>2+</SUP> ions are located around the ZnO seed layer and are accumulated easily due to the external electric field. As a result, it is succeeded to fabricate the definite hexagonal ZnO nanorod having better structural characteristics by applying the external electric field during the growth process. Therefore, it is demonstrated that the external electric field is effective to fabricate the high quality ZnO nanorod without changing any composition of the ZnO nanorod.
