본 연구는 뇌교육과 세계시민교육의 관계를 살펴보고, 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육과정 설계 방안을 모색하는 데 그 연구의 목적이 있다. 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육 설계방안을 결론으로 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육의 교육목표는 평화롭고 정의로우며 지속가능한 사회를 이루는데 필요한 가치를 공감하고 구체적인 삶의 맥락 속에서 태도와 행동의 변화를 유도할 수 있도록 설계해야 한다. 둘째, 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육의 교육내용은 인지적 영역, 사회·정서적 영역, 행동적 영역 등 통합적 역량을 함양할 수 있도록 설계해야 한다. 셋째, 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육의 교육방법은 현재 또는 미래에 일어날 수 있는 세계의 다양한 문제 상황을 중심으로 일상생활 속에서 실천할 수 있고 직접 해결 가능한 체험활동 형태로 설계해야 한다. 넷째, 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육의 교육평가는 맥락 및 상황 중심의 다양한 체험활동을 실천함으로써 자기 자신을 객관적으로 성찰하고 반성할 수 있도록 설계해야 한다. 본 연구의 결론을 토대로 향후 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 제시한 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육 교육과정은 이론적 문헌 연구와 설계방안을 수립한 것이기 때문에, 학교 현장 적용과정을 통해 뇌교육 기반 세계시민교육 교육과정을 수정 및 보완할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 학습자의 달 단계 및 연령을 고려하여 맞춤형 교육과정을 설계할 필요가 있다. The purposes of this study are to clarify the conceptual relevance of brain education to global citizenship education and to suggest brain education based global citizenship education. The conclusions of the study are as follows: First, brain education based global citizenship education should aim at empathizing with values required to bring about a peaceful, just, and sustainable society, and inducing transformation of attitudes and behaviors. Second, the educational contents should be developed to cultivate integrated competencies in cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral domains. Third, it should provide learners with experiential activities that they can practice in their daily lives and find a solution at first hand. Fourth, it should help learners reflect on themselves objectively by practicing activities directly related to their lives and situation. Based on the study, follow-up studies are proposed as follows: First, the brain education based global citizenship education presented in this study needs to be field tested and complemented by education stakeholders. Second, programs should be complemented by topics and issues that are relevant and appropriate to different age groups.

Thermal Management of High-Temperature PEMFC stack

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) have been considering for combined heat and power (CHP) applications, but the cost reduction is a remained issue for commercialization. Among various types of PEMFC, high-temperature (HT) PEMFC is gaining more attention due to the system simplicity that will make the total system cost lower. Also, high-temperature operation minimizes the catalyst poisoning from reformed fuels and simplifies the components of the fuel reformer. In addition to the system simplicity, it provides improved system robustness along with higher quality heat for CHP applications. However, due to its nature of operating at high temperature, the thermal management of the stack becomes greater concern. To solve the thermal management issues of HT PEMFC, we developed two different cooling systems; an oil-cooled active cooling and a water-cooled passive cooling. In this study, the characteristics of both cooling methods for 1㎾e class HT PEMFC stacks developed for mCHP applications are discussed in view of the steady-state and the transient conditions.

선모충증은 전 세계적으로 발생하는 기생충 인수공통감염의 한로 선모충의 유충에 감염된 육류를 덜 익혀 섭식시 발생하며 감염 초기에 설사, 복통의 증상이 나타나며 후기에 유충의 체내 이행으로 발열, 근염, 안검 부종 등이 동반된다. 확진은 근육 생검을 하여 피포 유충을 확인하는 것이고 최근에는 특이 항체를 측정하거나 유전자 검사와 같은 다양한 검사가 시도되고 있다. 저자 등은 4명의 한 가족이 야생 멧돼지를 생식한 후 선모충증의 전형적인 임상 증상 및 검사 소견을 보인 가족 내 집단발생사례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Trichinosis is a worldwide parasitic infection caused by ingesting an uncooked raw meat containing viable larvae of nematode Trichinella. Although most cases have been reported in Western countries, the incidence has decreased due to strict control of meat handlings and improved hygiene in these countries. In Korea, the first case of Trichinella spiralis was reported in a patient who ingested an uncooked badger. We have also experienced four cases of Trichinella spiralis infestation among family members who showed typical clinical manifestations and laboratory findings after ingesting raw wild swine meat, and herein report the finding.
