        Broad-Band Design of Ferrite One-body EM Wave Absorbers for an Anechoic Chamber

        With the progress of the electronics industry and radio communication technology, certain problems, such as electromagnetic interference(EMI), have arisen due to the increased use of electromagnetic(EM) waves. International organizations such as CISPR, FCC, and ANSI have provided the standards for the EM wave environment and for the countermeasure of the electromagnetic compatibility(EMC). EM wave absorbers are used for constructing an anechoic chamber to test and measure EMI and electromagnetic susceptibility(EMS). In this paper, we have designed an one-body EM(electromagnetic) wave ferrite absorber, based on the equivalent material constants method for both normally and obliquely incident waves, whose absorption abilities are superior to that of the conventional ones. The fabricated absorber has a thickness of 27.68 mm and shows an absorption ability over 20 dB in the frequency from 30 MHz to 6 GHz.

      • 한국교회의 사회활동과 교회평생교육 고찰

        본 연구는 한국교회의 사회활동과 시민교육의 관계를 밝히고 호남지역 교회를 중심으로 교회평생교육에 대하여 논의하고자 한다 한국 기독교 초기 선교사들은 사회활동전문가이자 평생교육자이다. 선교사들의 헌신을 통해 정치 경제 문화 교육 등의 신농업기술과 서양 학문에 대한 뛰어난 기술 등 많은 부분에서 근대화를 이루는데 기초를 쌓을 수 있었다. 초기 선교사들의 사회활동 당시에는 평생교육이라는 정책과 제도가 없었지만 그들의 활동을 살펴보면 모든 교육이 바로 평생교육이자 시민교육에 이바지하였다. 기독교 사회활동은 이러한 프락시스적인 실천적 사회활동이다 학문적인 내용과 생산기술을 통하여 복음과 애국계몽운동이라는 활동으로 톱니바퀴가 맞물려 가는 것처럼 진행되어 왔다 실천적 교회평생교육은 다음 세대에게 더 나은 삶을 전달해 주는 과정이다. 따라서 교회에서 할 수 있는 평생교육 프로그램은 전 영역에 맞는 실천적인 프로그램이어야 한다 즉 교회와 세상을 구분하지 않는 교육 그리고 교회와 세상이 소통되는 교육으로 이론과 실제가 분리되지 않는 통합적인 교육이 이루어져야 한다. This study aims to clarify the relationship between social activities and civic education in Korean churches and discuss lifelong education in churches in Honam area. Early missionaries of Korean Christianity are social activity experts and lifelong educators. Through the devotion of missionaries, we were able to build up the foundation for modernization in many areas such as new agricultural technology such as politics, economy, culture, education and excellent technology for Western studies. There was no policy and system of lifelong education at the time of early missionaries' social activities, but when they look at their activities, all education contributed to lifelong education and civic education. Christian social activities are practicable social activities, which have been carried out as if the cog wheels are engaged with the activities of the Gospel and Patriot Enlightenment through academic contents and production skills. Practical church lifelong education is a process of delivering a better life to the next generation. Therefore, lifelong education programs that can be done in churches should be practical programs that fit the whole area. In other words, the education that does not distinguish the church from the world, and the education that communicates the church and the world, should be integrated education that does not separate the theory and reality.

        규칙적인 걷기와 고강도 신체활동 참여에 따른 대사증후군 위험요인 및 고혈압과의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine the association of walking activity, vigorous physical activity, metabolic syndrome (MS) risk factors, and hypertension among Korean adult population. We analyzed data from The Fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey V-3 in 2012. A total of 5,217 participated in the cross-sectional study. MS was ascertained using criteria of the National Cholesterol Education Program Adult Treatment Panel-Ⅲ. Results showed that 1) participants in walking activity significantly decreased body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, fasting glucose, and total cholesterol compared with those in non-participants. 2) participants in vigorous physical activity significantly decreased systolic blood pressure and number of participants with MS and hypertension compared with those in non-participants. 3) Non-participants in walking and vigorous physical activity (Odds ratio (OR): 1.40, 95% CI: 1.01-1.95) had 40 percent higher risks for prevalence of metabolic syndrome compared to participants in walking and vigorous physical activity (Ref OR: 1) after adjustment for age, and body mass index. In conclusion, This study showed that walking activity and vigorous physical activity are important factors for the prevention of metabolic syndrome and hypertension among Korean adult population.

        6주간 야외용 운동기구를 사용한 저항운동이 노인 여성의 무릎신전근 기능 및 구조에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of leg extension exercises performed on outdoor resistance exercise machines on knee extension muscle strength and quadriceps muscle group cross sectional area (CSA) in elderly women. Two groups were recruited for this study, including an exercise group (EG: n=13, 71.38±2.79 yrs) and a control group (CG: n=5, 73.4±5.94), In all subjects, maximum isometric and isokinetic muscle strength of knee flexion and extension were measured using an isokinetic dynamometer (Cybex Humac Norm Testing & Rehabilitation System, USA). Quadriceps muscle group CSA were measured using MRI (Philps, Intera 1.5 T, NE Netherlands), The results of this study showed that post-intervention isometric knee extension peak torque value were higher than pre-intervention measures in the EG. However, the EG did not show improvement in quadriceps muscle group CSA, Also, no differences in the shift of optimal knee joint angle were observed between pre and post-intervention exercise. Outdoor leg extension exercise showed small increases in muscle strength in comparison to other resistance training exercises. The results of this study suggest that because outdoor leg extension exercise machines lack a progressive loading mechanism, significant increases in muscle strength may not be obtained.

        전침 자극에 의한 오디 괄약근 운동성 변화에 관한 연구

        N/A Background/Aims: This study was designed to evaluate the effects of electroacupuncture on the sphincter of Oddi (SO) motility in humans and to correlate the manometric findings with plasma cholecystokinin (CCK) levels. Methods: Eleven patients (M: F= 5: 6) who had various kinds of biliary disorders were enrolled. SO motility was monitored with a conventional low-compliant continously perfused technique using ERCP (n=9) or percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscope (n 2). After baseline monitoring for phasic wave contractions of SO, electroacupuncture was applied at a specific acupoint, GB 34, in these 11 patient.. A nonspecific acupoint 5 cm away from GB 34 was selected as a control. Manometric parameters of SO were also checked in 6 subjects during stimulation of the control acupoint. CCK plasma levels were measured during the time course of electroacupuncture stimulation, Results: All the manometric parameters including the basa1 pressure of SO, amplitude, frequency and duration of phasic wave contraction of SO were significantly decreased (p< 0.05) during electroacupuncture stimu1ation. The inhibition of SO contractility was accompanied by increased CCK plasma levels. After removal of electroacupuncture stimulation, restoration of amplitude and duration to basal condition were noted. A tendency towards the return of SO contractility was also observed in basal pressure and frequency. Stimulation of the control acupoint, however, did not affect the SO contractility and plasma CCK levels. Conclusions: Electroacupuncture stimulation of acupoint GB 34 showed reversible inhibition of SO contraction in humans. We speculate that the response of SO to electroacupuncture stimulation may be mediated by some neurohormonal mechanisms including CCK release.         체육계열 대학생들의 특수체육 교과수업 체험 연구

        본 연구는 체육계열 대학생들의 특수체육 교과수업을 하나의 사례로 정하여, 수업의 구성과 운영방식을 살펴보고, 수강 후 느끼는 점과 변화되는 점을 분석하여 체육 계열 대학생들의 특수체육 수업 수강의 필요성을 피력하고, 보다 효과적인 특수체육 교과 과목의 수업 운영에 대한 유용한 정보를 제공하고자 실시되었다. 연구제보자는 서울 소재 Y대학교에서 2010년 1학기에 개설된 전공 선택 수업인 특수체육 교과 수업을 수강하는 체육계열 대학생 6명으로 선정하였다. 특수체육 교과 수업에 대한 인식과 체험에 대해 심층적으로 분석하기 위해 사례연구를 적용하였고, 그 중 문헌조사, 참여관찰, 심층면담, 수업후기(실습후기 및 봉사후기) 등을 통해 자료수집이 이루어졌다, 그 결과 체육계열 대학생들은 이론과 실습, 봉사활동, 토론 수업으로 구성된 특수체육 수업을 통해 다양한 체험, 깨달음과 반성을 얻을 수 있었다, 또한, 교과수업 후에 장애에 대한 인식의 변화가 있었고, 이는 장애아동의 신체활동 그리고 교육가능성에 대한 인식에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다, 특수체육 교과수업을 통한 이러한 인식들이 실제 통합체육 교육 현장의 발전을 가져 올 수 있지 않을까 기대해보며, 앞으로도 이상적인 특수체육 교과 수업 개설 및 운영에 관한 기초자료를 제공하는 실행연구가 계속되어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of study were to propose the need for adapted physical activity curriculum and to provide useful information about effective adapted physical activity curriculum by analyzing perception of university students majoring physical education. This research was conducted as a case study using qualitative methodology and the data were collected from documents, in-depth interview, observation and reviews of curriculum. As a result, there were changes of perception about disabled person for students majoring physical education. In addition, it caused changes of perception about physical activity among children with disability. The findings are expected in improvement of current integrated physical education and further study needs to provide effective strategy for curriculum.

        3M 미세 혈관 결합기를 이용한 유리 피판술의 임상적 경험

        Recently, there is a increasing tendency in microvascular free flap reconstruction. But microvascular free flap transfer requires much time in mastering the suture technique as well as long operation time. Moreover it carrys the risk for thrombosis and total flap failure. So, these factors have inspired the need for quicker and easier methods for microvascular anastomosis. Since the Nakayama's experimental work on ring-pin anastsmotic device, many experimental and clinical works on mechanical anastomosis system have been developed. Authors have tried 3M microvascular anastomotic device in 25 cases of free flap transfer for the last 3 years. The results are as follows: 1) Mean follow-up period was 5.2 months. 2) Mean time for the vein anastomosis was 5.5 minutes. 3) Survival rate of the flap was 100 %. We got a conclusion that 3M microvascular coupling device can be a safe, fast and reliable adjunct for soft and friable venous microvascular anastomosis.

      • Pi-퍼시스턴트 프로트콜의 성능분석에 관한 연구

        In this thesis, performance, suds as utilization factor, delay time, and dlocking of the P_i-persistent protocol is analyzed under the uniform input traffic. Assumming that the input arrival rate is Poisson distribution and pickets are transmitted randomly. P_i-persistent protocol is modeled as a M/G/1 queueing system. Performance of P_i-persistent protocol in the unidirectional bus new with these values of proper P_i is simulated according to the buffer size, number of stations and input traffic. As the results of simulation, buffer size being increased, delay time is increased and bolcking probability is decreased in all case. When input traffic is low, delay time does not depend otn the buffer size, and number of stations. But in the case of heavy input traffic, it is increased because number of stations is increased. Under the improper P_i differences of utilization factor of each station is very large. With proper P_i dewy time of each ration is a little increased, but utilization factors are the same far all station.
