        현대 패션에 표현된 Trompe I'Oeil 기법 연구 : 1990년대를 중심으로 Focused on 1990s

        Trompe I'Oeil technique strategically conceived with a view to effectively realize creative ideas among the expression techniques of fine arts style has provided the driving force in development of fine arts and has continuously influenced development of the modern fashion pursuing unique individuality. The study is focused first on finding out how Trompe I'Oeil technique originated in connection with researching the fashion of Trompe I'Oeil and on analysing the technique of expression. The author referred to fashion magazines for designing ideas of Trompe I'Oeil represented in modern fashion in practical applications used by designers in Paris, Italy, London and New York during the 10 year period(1990-1999). The collections of data were analyzed as following: Effectiveness depending on the method of Trompe I'Oeil 1. Effectiveness of Layering: when two clothing are over lapped or coordinated with one another in color or style. 2. Effectiveness of Detailing: when pictures, stitch, tape, cutting, quilting and etc are used to create collar, pocket, yoke, zipper, string, shadow and etc. 3. Effectiveness of Accessories: when the image of necklace, belt, tie, tassel, badges and stars are represented by illustration or embroidery on clothing to substitute the actual existence. 4. Effectiveness of Nudity: when human body is realistically drawn and printed on clothing.

        의상디자인 교육용 하이퍼미디어 코스웨어 개발연구

        This paper focuses on the development of a fashion design educational program that will faster the talent and aesthetic consciousness of fashion design students. The goal of progressive educational methods with cutting edge technology is to elevate educational efficiency, and ultimately rear creative designers. To fulfill its objective, this paper presents a courseware program on fashion design education utilizing hyper media that include animation, photographs, pictures, sounds and characters. By the utilization of such comprehensive source of information media, a hypermedia courseware was developed fur elementary education in fashion design with the following conclusions: 1.The program enables the students to customize their fashion design education, The students of fashion design education programs are able to choose and adjust their own programs to suit their requirements and intellectual level. 2.The program effectively motivates. Much like a constant sequence of various images on a screen that can provoke profound heart-felt emotions and inspire creativity, the program can stimulate and motivate the students. 3.The program provides a consistent education. To advance the overall quality of fashion design education, the problem of dissonance in educational content should be resolved and possible individual errors in delivery rectified. The present program will solve such problems, and establish coherent standards that will withstand the test of time regardless of time or place. 4.The program is cost effective. Since the present program frees the teacher from the time consuming drudgery of preparing various texts and lesson plans, have the materials delivered and handled, it reduces the time and cost previously required. 5.The program has the capability to be upgraded. The accumulated know-how of teachers and the total experience of the program can be linked with other programs for limitless expansion.

        兒童畵에 표현된 '옷'에 대한 의미 분석 : 초등학교 저학년 여자 어린이를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to analyze dress meanings painted by elementary school girl. As in language, the dress is the symbol and form of non-verval communicator to its wearer by means of the mentalistic semantics. Also it is to analyze meanings of dress by applying the semantics of Geoffrey Leech. The followings are the findings of the analysis 1.The conceptual meaning is indicating the feminine image. 2.The social meaning is indicating more than just upper middle class. 3.The offective meaning is indicating the aesthetic value.

        현대의상에 표현된 Tuck Design 연구

        The Tuck, an important component of modem clothing design, was analyzed through various sources of literature comprised chiefly of domestic and imported fashion magazines from 2000 to 2003. The results were as follows: 1) The Tuck was organized in horizontal, perpendicular, oblique and radial directions. Application methods included repetition, gradation, radial arrangement, sequence and alternation of individual lines. 2) The Tuck was found in a variety of forms and uses. But due to structural characteristics, its function is more psychological and aesthetic than functional. The aesthetic properties of the Tuck included rhythm, optical illusion, abstraction, and material. The structural properly of the Tuck occasionally substituted bust or waist darts. 3) The individuality and originality of the Tuck was used in unpredictable ways to give spatial ornamentality and emphasis on material. This enabled aesthetically unique designs to arise. To summarize, the Tuck, a component of clothing design as a formative art, was used in a variety of methods towards developing creative clothing design.

        의상디자인 발상법에 관한연구

        This paper focuses on development of a fashion design education course that will foster the talent and aesthetic consciousness of fashion design student. The writer reached the content of the designing ideas to practical applications as the defined scope of fashion design education. For designing idea in practical application : matching ideas, contrasting ideas, formative combinations and revisionism were used. For design ideas, the ideas developed by 飯塚弘子, 方江八重子, 春川達子 were used in revision. Te detail the content of design education, fashion magazines, portfolios, Photographs and related fashion design educational materials were used. 1. Matching ideas : it proposes such identical expression into costume by making a research of developing material, application farm and color extraction from design sources. 2. Contrasting ideas : it proposes such opposite expression into costume by making a research of opposite to image, form, position and purpose from some object 3. Formative combinations : it proposes such new expression into costume by combining a detail of costume with the other object. 4. Revisionism : it proposes such modified expression into costume by making a research of deletion, change, addition and conversion in costume.

      • A Study on Clothing Behavior of Elementary School Girls : with Special Reference to 1st, 2nd, 3rd Grades

        This study is based on the recognition of the importance of clothing for emotional and social development of children. This study investigates and analyzes the clothing behavior those elementary school children who are mostly characterized as being sensitive and susceptible. In order to investigate the phenomenon of their clothing a photographical method in which their clothing can be concretely and visualy identified and interview were employed. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Conformity : elementary school girls in low grades preferred to wear similar clothes rather than wearing distinguishable clothes from the other children in the same age. 2. Comfort : elementary school girls in low grades preferred to wear pants-style rather than wearing skirt-style because they feel wore comfortable wearing pants in their activities. 3. Independence : The higher grade girls are more independent not only in putting on or undressing their clothes but also in choosing their own clothes. 4. Interest : elementary school girls in low grades preferred bright colors such as white, blue, pink, red, yellow, and etc. 5. Sex Role : elementary school girls in low grades preferred white, blue, pink, red, yellow, to express their feminity.

        뮤지컬 <루나틱>의 무대의상 디자인 연구

        본 연구는 뮤지컬 무대의상 디자인에 관한 연구로서 2005년 6월 28일부터 2006년 4월 23일까지 대학로에 소재한 소극장 `씨어터 일`에서 공연된 뮤지컬 <루나틱>에 본 연구자가 의상 스텝으로 직접 참여하여 진행한 연구 결과이다. 뮤지컬 <루나틱>의 무대의상 디자인 연구방법은 대본 읽기와 제작회의를 거쳐서 연출가의 극에 대한 해석에 따라 무대의상 디자인 컨셉을 설정하고 이에 따른 자료수집 및 조사를 거쳐서 무대의상 디자인 계획을 수립하였다. 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 등장인물들의 특징을 파악하여 그 특징적 이미지를 가장 잘 표현할 수 있는 실루엣과 디테일, 색상, 소재 등과 같은 디자인 요소를 활용하여 디자인 스케치를 완성하였다. 디자인 스케치 과정에서는 제작회의를 통해 상호의견이 교환되고 수정보완의 과정을 거쳤다. 이러한 디자인 과정을 통해서 등장인물들의 의상을 상징적 이미지로 표현함으로써 관객들에게 극의 내용을 이해시키는 무대의상의 기능적 역할의 확대를 기대 할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구가 뮤지컬 무대의상의 발전과 공연의 활성화에 기여하리라 생각된다. This study looks into stage costume design for the musical < Lunatic >. I have been interested in designing the musical costumes and participated as costume design staff in the < Lunatic >, a musical presented in Theater Ⅰ located in Daehakro from June 28, 2005 to April 23, 2006, for this study. The costume design was conducted along with several processes ranges from script reading and the production meeting, to data collection and research, costumes chart and schedule arrangements, the design planning, sketching, and evaluation. After that, a rehearsal for the costumes was conducted to define any shortcomings and address them. As such, the costumes of the characters were designed with symbolism, ensuring extended function of musical costumes in making the audience better understand the underlying theme of the drama. Furthermore it maximizes visual effects of performance and outlines the image of characters, while adding spice to the drama and increasing dramatic perfection. Costumes are expected to enhance the audience`s interests in the mesical, eventually contributing to its development.
