This report is a case of Cervical Herniated Intervertebral Disc. The patient was diagnosed as severe contracture, chief indication of Zizyphus jujuba var. inermis Rehder(Daejo, Dazao) and treated with Gyejibuja-tang(Guizhifuzi-tang). Visual Analog Scale was used to estimate the patient's pain. Clinical Symptoms were completely cured by administering herbal medication without other therapy. We concluded that herbal medication based on Classical Therapeutic Method have a effect on Cervical Herniated Intervertebral Disc and further study needs to be done. In addition, we hypothesized that the effect of a prescription is decided by the independent action of each herb, not harmonized action, and a dose of a herb forming the original prescription is variable on Classical Therapeutic Method.

The focus of this study is on analyzing regional competition and complementarity of Yeongnam Region in terms of spatial interactions of population with Dendrinos-Sonis Model. Overall, there is no spatial autocorrelation in the population distribution in Yeongnam Area with respect to Moran's I, Local Moran's I and Geary C. It implies that the population of each region is independently distributed, not affected by the degree of population distribution in adjacent regions. But, negative spatial autocorrelation occurred in Busan, Daegu, and Ulsan among cities and counties.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze optimal levels of population of urban and regional areas in Korea using a urban hierarchy model of population. This paper finds that the population sizes of Seoul Metropolitan Area, Chungcheong, Dongnam and Daekyung are larger than the optimal levels, while those of Gangwon and Honam Areas increasing their population sizes to achieve an efficiency of resource allocation. An excessive population size of Seoul could cause a loss of welfare benefits as much as 4.2~8.6% of economic incomes. The optimal level of regional population tends to rely on model constraints, model structure and data types, so it should be assessed in terms of other components such as productivities and agglomeration, population stock and migration, cost structure and productions and expenditures, too. Finally, the regional conflicts need to be shifted from Seoul vs non-Seoul to over-concentration regions vs the less development regions in the near future.

Tresearch focuses on the forecasting of construction investments and demands in the construction materials in 1997-2005, using a economertric model of the construction economy. For the long-term forecasting of the construction investments and their material inputs, we develop a system of equations which consists of single identity equation and 13 behavior equations, using GLS and cointegration approaches. The ratio of the construction investment to the GNP is expected to be 20.07%∼21.06 % in 1.997-2000 and 19.04%∼19.93% in 2001-2005. The average growth rate of the construction investment is estimated as 4.75%-5.07%, depending on the assumptions on the economic growth and the price inflation. The demands of the cement and the remicon increase annually by 4.30%∼4.35% and 4.95%∼5.28% respectively, and the average growth rate of the iron bar demand is expected to be 4.85%∼5.17%. Because the production capacities of the cement and the remicon have been expanded annually to 11.4%∼17.2% in 1990-1994, the problem of "excessive supply" is primary concerned rather than their shortage in the long term.
