Les socie´te´s populaires parisiennes ont joue´, de`s 1791, un ro^le e´minent dans la marche de la Re´volution francaise. Les socie´te´s fraternelles, de recrutement plus populaires groupaient les sans-culottes. Ces socie´te´s, ouvertes aux petites gens, se multiplie`rent a`Paris apre`s le 10 aou^t 1792. Tandis que les mode´re´s entendaient cantonner les socie´te´s populaires dans un ro^le simplement e´ducatif, les patriotes leur assigne`rent de`s l'origine un but politiqu. Lorsque la convention eut supprime´ le 9 septembre 1793 la permanance des assemble´es de section, militants populaires transforme´rent ces socie´te´s populaires d'ancienne fondation en socie´te´s sectionnaires ou en cre´e`rent de nouvelles. En l'an Ⅱ les socie´te´s sectionnaires de type nouveau constitue`rent l'organisation de base du mouvement populaire parisien. De l'automne au printemps de l'an II, la France fut couverte d'un re´seau de socie´te´s, dense et efficace. Un antagonisme s'affirma cependant rapidement entre les Jacobins et leurs filiales, et les socie´te´s sectionnaires, expression de l'autonomie du mouvement populaire. Au nom dela centralisation ne´cessaire a` la de´fense nationale et re´volutionnaire, les hommes gouvernementals entendirent unifier les organisations populaires sous leur direction. Sous la pression gouvernementale, les socie´te´s populaires dites sectionnaires parisiennes dure`rent se dissoudre.
HT-29 대장암 세포에서 식물추출물 쿼세틴에 의한 Sestrin2의 조절과 Apoptosis 유도에 관한 연구

Quercetin is an important anti-cancer flavonoid, present in various vegetable, fruits and etc. It has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation in several cancer types. And this substance can generate ROS to cause free radical-induced apoptosis. Sestrin2, a stress-responsive gene, plays a role in the regulation of autophagy and tumor suppressive metabolism through modulation of p-AMPK-p-mTOR signaling path- way. DNA damage and oxidative stress, such as ROS conditions, stimulated sestrin2 and overexpression of sestrin2 led to increase p-AMPK and suppress p-mTOR pathway. In this study, we have explored the anti-proliferatory effects of quercetin in HT-29 colon cancer cells through sestrin2, p-AMPK and p-mTOR and focused on the regulation effects of sestrin2 by treatment of quercetin. We revealed that quercetin inhibits cell proliferation in HT-29 cells and determined that quercetin modulates protein levels of sestrin2, p-AMPK and p-mTOR. Treatment of quercetin resulted in expression of the sestrin2. These regulations affect activation of p-AMPK and decrease of p-mTOR levels. Blocking AMPK activity using Compound C showed that quercetin-inhibited p-mTOR should be stimulated by p-AMPK. These results indicated that quercetin controls sestrin2, but regulation of p-mTOR needs to be triggered by p-AMPK. Thus the p-AMPK-p-mTOR signaling pathway is regulated by quercetin-activated discovery of sestrin2.
MCF-7 유방암 세포에서 COX-2/VASP신호분자 조절을 통한 커큐민의 Apoptosis효과

Curcumin, a phytochemical acquired to yellow curry, has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activities. Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) is inducible enzymes, and regulates the level of prostaglandins during inflammation. A vasodilatator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) is connected to actin, and is activated by phosphorylation. In this study, we investigated the effect of curcumin on apoptosis and COX-2/VASP signaling pathway. We observed that curcumin inhibited cell proliferation and caused apoptosis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells. Treatment of compound C, an AMPK inhibitor, resulted in increased cell proliferation of cancer cells and showed that COX-2 and VASP are regulated by AMPK. Also, the co-treatment with celecoxib (COX-2 inhibitor) and curcumin resulted in decreased cell proliferation in breast cancer cells. Inhibition of COX-2 was regulated by the expression of VASP, indicating that the COX-2/VASP signaling molecules played an important role for apoptosis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells. In conclusion, curcumin had anti-proliferative and apoptotic effects through the regulation of COX-2and VASP signal pathway.

This is a real-world cohort study in COPD patients to evaluate the status of inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) prescription around GOLD guideline revision 2017. A total of 1144 patients from KOLD or KOCOSS cohort with last follow up visit between 2017 and 2018 were analyzed. The features advocating ICS usage were defined as; history of asthma, blood eosinophils ≥300 cells/ ㎕, or ≥2 exacerbation in the previous year. Among baseline ICS users, we compared annual total and severe exacerbation rates according to ICS continuation or withdrawal. ICS containing regimen was prescribed 46.1% at baseline, but it decreased to 38.1% in 2017 and long-acting dual bronchodilator took its place. Among patients using ICS regimen in 2017, 47.5% of them did not bear any features advocating ICS usages. ICS was withdrawn in 77 (16.1%) patients during study period. While the annual exacerbation rate was similar between ICS withdrawal group and ICS continued group (0.48 vs 0.47, p=0.84), severe exacerbation rate of ICS withdrawal group was statistically higher (0.22 vs 0.12, p=0.03, Relative risk (RR) 1.74, 95% CI [1.05-2.88]). The proportion of patients with asthma and baseline annual exacerbation rate were paradoxically greater in ICS withdrawal group than continued group (56.6% vs 41%, p=0.01; 0.79 vs 0.53, p<0.001). The prescription of ICS in patients with COPD has decreased along with the advance of long-acting dual bronchodilators. The ICS withdrawal might impact on severe exacerbation; therefore, it should be decided considering patients’ characteristics and risk-benefit of ICS.
