한국 성인에서 안질환과 영양소 섭취와의 관련성에 관한 연구: 2015, 2016년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the differences in nutrient intakes on the onset of eye disease in the ophthalmic disease group vs. the normal group. The analysis method of this study was performed by adjusting age and gender. The daily caloric intake was 1,672.1±26.4 kcal in the ophthalmic disease group which was significantly lower than the 2,041.5±13.6 kcal intake in the normal group (P=0.006). The intake of proteins (P=0.015) and carbohydrates (P=0.000) was significantly lower in the ophthalmic disease group than in the normal group. The incidence of eye diseases was found to decrease by about 0.79 (95% CI: 0.74∼0.83) times as the NAR index of protein was increased, followed by 0.79 (95% CI: 0.64∼ 0.98) times with an increase in niacin consumption. In this study, income, BMI, smoking, alcohol consumption, and quality of life were considered as the confounding variables related to eye disease, along with age and gender, but did not lead to show significant results. It was found that the ophthalmic disease group had an unbalanced nutritional intake compared to the normal group. Therefore, we conclude that nutrition education is necessary to ensurebalanced eating habits for management and prevention of degeneration after the onset of eye diseases.
여성 노인 당뇨병 환자의 당뇨관리식 두유 섭취 전과 후의 영양 및 혈액 상태 변화에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 삼육식품이 당뇨병 조절을 위해 개발한 두유를 당뇨병 환자의 동의하에 섭취시켰으며, 삼육케어(당뇨관리식)의 효능을 입증하기 위한 임상시험을 실시하였다. 당뇨관리식 섭취 전과 후의 BMI는 18.88±1.16 kg/㎡, 20.74±1.06 kg/㎡였다. 당뇨관리식 섭취 후에 식사할 때, 음식에 소금이나 간장을 더 넣지 않는다는 비율과 식사는 매일 세끼를 규칙적으로 한다는 비율은 증가하였다. 당뇨관리식 섭취 후에 에너지 섭취량, 단백질, 지방, 비타민 B6, 비타민 B12, 엽산, 칼슘, 철, 셀레늄, 인 및 식이섬유 섭취가 증가하였다. 당뇨관리식 두유를 섭취시키기 전과 후의 혈중 콜레스테롤 수치는 144.00±8.02 mg/dL에서 142.46±7.49 mg/dL로 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, LDL-콜레스테롤 수치는 10.30±1.72 mg/dL에서 8.11±0.74 mg/dL로 유의하게 감소하였다(P<0.05). 따라서 당뇨관리식 두유 섭취는 당뇨환자의 영양상태 개선 및 LDL-콜레스테롤 수치 개선에 도움을 주는 것으로 사료되며, 앞으로 지속적인 임상 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. This study evaluate the health improvement efficacy of Sahmyook Care (diabetic control diet) vegetable soymilk intake in elderly diabetic women. This randomized clinical trial was conducted by enrolling 18 elderly diabetic women aged 65 to 80 years, after obtaining their informed consent. Subjects were randomly assigned to consume a diet containing soy milk developed by Sahmyook Food for diabetes management for 4 weeks. The average BMI of the subjects before and after diabetic control diet intake were 18.88±1.16 kg/㎡ and 20.74±1.06 kg/㎡, respectively. Eating habits after consuming the diabetes control diet, showed an increase in the ratio of not adding salt or soy sauce to food and regularly eating three meals a day. Energy intake, protein, fat, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folic acid, calcium, iron, selenium, phosphorus, and dietary fiber intakes were also increased after partaking in the diabetes control diet (P<0.05). The level of LDL-cholesterol in blood before and after intake of soymilk for diabetes management showed a significant decrease, from 210.30±1.72 mg/dL to 108.11±0.74 mg/dL (P<0.05). Therefore, the consumption of soymilk in a diabetes-controlled diet is considered helpful in improving the nutritional status and LDL-cholesterol levels in diabetic patients.

Offshore remote-sensing wind extraction using SAR satellite image is an emerging and promising technology for offshore wind resource assessment. We compared our numerical weather prediction and offshore wind extraction from ENVISAT images around Korea offshore areas. A few comparison sets showed good agreement but more comparisons are required to draw application guideline on a statistical basis.
아침 결식이 한국 노인의 식생활 형태에 미치는 영향 : 국민건강영양조사 6기 결과를 이용하여

본 연구에서는 제 6기 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여 우리나라 노년을 대상으로 아침식사 결식에 따른 영양소 섭취 및 식습관 행태를 조사하였다. 연구대상자는 만 65세 이상 3,966명을 분석하였으며, 아침식사섭취군 및 아침식사결식군으로 나누었다. 1일 탄수화물 및 비타민 B₁, 칼슘, 나트륨, 철분 섭취량은 아침식사섭취군이 높은 반면에, 1일 지방 섭취량 및 1일 콜레스테롤 섭취량은 아침식사결식군이 높았다. 영양소 적정 섭취 비율(NAR)은 비타민A를 제외한 8개 영양소에서 아침식사섭취군이 아침식사결식군에 비해 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 추후 노년기의 건강한 생활습관 개선을 위해 아침 결식 이유를 고려한 다양한 연구가 진행되어야 한다. I investigated the nutrient intake and dietary habits based on the breakfast skipping in elderly Koreans using the 6th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The analysis included 3,966 elderly participants aged over 65 years and the subjects were divided into two groups. The breakfast eaters consumed significantly higher levels of carbohydrate, vitamin B1, calcium, sodium and iron whereas the breakfast skippers consumed more levels of fat and cholesterol. In addition, the nutrient adequacy ratio(NAR) of the breakfast eaters were significantly higher levels of 8 nutrients except for vitamin A than the breakfast skippers. Further investigation into the reasons for skipping breakfast may be useful for promoting healthy lifestyles of elderly.

This study was carried out to investigate the various roles and effects of Morinda citrifolia L.(noni) on the human body and to utilize the findings obtained for future disease related research on food and nutrition. Morinda citrifolia L. has been used in folk medicine by Polynesians for over 2,000 years and is reported to have a broad range of therapeutic effects. Noni is an alkaloid system such as proxeronine, scopoletin, octanoic acid, terpenoids, alkaloids, anthraquinones, nordamnacanthal, morindone, rubiadin, b-sitosterol, flavone glycosides, linoleic acid, acubin, L-asperuloside, caproic acid, caprylic acid, ursolic acid, rutin. Noni's side effects have been reported to affect anti-inflammatory, analgesics, LDL antioxidant, anti-tumor, antifungal, antibiotic, antiviral, antiparasitic and immunosuppressive effects. In particular, noni's efficacy is considered to be important for the prevention of diseases by inhibiting active oxygen, which is a direct cause of oxidative stress, through various metabolites through 'xeronine system'. Noni's functions and effects that have been examined in this study include anti-inflammation, pain relief, antioxidant, anticancer, hepatocyte protection among others. Therefore, noni's extracts are considered highly useful for diverse scientific and nutritional health functional foods.

This review discusses the characteristics of major lignans and related studies and provides a basis for future studies. Lignans are present in various food products consumed daily, such as flaxseed and other seeds, vegetables, fruits, and beverages including coffee, tea, and wine. Lignans are natural phytoestrogens with a structure similar to that of secoisolariciresinol (Seco), mataireinol (Mat), pinoresinol (Pin), medioresinol (Med), lariciresinol (Lari), and syringaresinol, which is then converted to enterodiol (END) and enterolactone (ENL), which are mammalian lignans and the primary biologically active enterolignans, by the intestinal microflora. The associations between lignans and a decreased risk of cardiovascular disease are promising; however, they are not yet well-established, probably owing to low lignan intake in habitual Western diets. Nonetheless, these associations were more prominent at the higher doses in interventional studies. Many studies on humans and animals have reported the benefits of lignan consumption in protecting against CVD and metabolic syndrome by reducing lipid and glucose concentrations. END and ENL reportedly exert protective effects including phytoestrogenic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects through various mechanisms. Moreover, lignans reportedly exert beneficial effects in breast, colon, and prostate cancer and osteoporosis have reported that. However, future studies are required to confirm the association between lignan and disease.

This study suggests a method of making cheese using soybeans for healthy food for people that are allergic to animal proteins, vegetarians, people on a diet, infants and toddlers. Additionally, the study was conducted to provide basic data that can contribute to the development of a quality control class of Korean cheese and underdeveloped cheese industry. Soybean cheeses have a high protein content and low fat. The free amino acids of soybean cheeses contained 11.48 mg of arginine per 100 g, 9.33 mg of glutamate, and leucine 4.91 mg, in that order. The free amino acids of Company A's milk cheese contained 20.95 mg of glutamate, 8.95 mg of proline and 8.02 mg of lysine per 100 g. In soybean cheeses, there were 2.21 mg of tryptophan and 0.73 mg of cysteine, which were not analyzed in the milk cheese of company A. The contents of the constituent amino acids was 1,070.22 mg of glutamate, 467.30 mg of aspartate and 446.30 mg of leucine in 100 grams of soybean cheeses per 100 grams. The milk cheese of Company A was 1,715.97 mg of glutamate, 798.72 mg of leucine and 685.31 mg of proline. The mineral contents of the soybean cheese were 120.29 mg/100 g of calcium, 0.92 mg/100 g of iron, 0.78 mg/100 g of zinc and 0.40 mg/100 g of selenium, respectively. The contents of vitamin $B_1$ and ${\beta}$-glucan in soybean cheese were higher than that of the milk cheese in Company A at 0.08 mg/100 g and 13.73 mg/g, respectively. Therefore, it is considered that the soy cheese is excellent in nutritional aspect and will contribute to health promotion. It is also suitable for people that are allergic to animal proteins, vegetarians, people on a diet and healthy foods for infants.
