은행이나 투자신탁회사와 같은 금융기관에서는 수탁자산이나 고유자산의 운용과 관리를 위한 유가증권시스템이 필요하며 이는 업무 영역에 따라 프론트오피스시스템, 미들오피스시스템, 백오피스시스템으로 나누어진다. 이러한 업무 시스템들은 수많은 금융상품 및 데이터의 처리, 금융상품들의 리스크 계산, 기준가 산정, 회계처리, 준법감시 등 전문적인 업무지식과 많은 양의 계산이 필요한 복잡하고 방대한 시스템이다. 또한, 금융기관의 업무시스템이라는 성격 상 고도의 안정성과 효율성을 요구하며 다변적인 금융환경을 고려한 확장성과 각 업무시스템들과의 연계와 통합은 물론 외부 기관과의 연계도 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 통합 유가증권시스템의 구성과 개발사례를 소개하고 효율적 구축에 관하여 논의한다. The total asset management system is used for banks or financial institutions for the management of trusteed assets or own assets and it is divided into three systems: the front-office system, the middle-office system and the back-office system by its business areas and functionalities. This kind of asset management system is a huge and complex system handling large data and various financial products, and requires professional knowledges like accounting, financial product specific knowledge, compliance and regulations, etc. It also performs high level computation for NAV calculation and risk measurement on every day. Therefore, it needs absolute stability, extendability and efficiency and should handle the frequent change of regulation and products and connectivity with outdoor institutions. In this paper, we report our successful development of such a system and discuss issues regarding its efficient system design and system construction.

Recently, MIMO communications are regarded as one of the most promising emerging wireless technologies. This paper investigates MIMO wireless systems and their applications in a railway communication system. We firstly discuss railway communication environments including propagation characteristics and radio channel modeling. Next, we consider channel estimate methods, which is a crucial issue under rapidly varying channel condition due to the movement of trains. Channel estimation methods for MIMO systems are addressed and the effect of estimation error is studied. We also have performed simulations for transmit beamforming system and STBC(Space-time block coding) to investigate the performance of MIMO schemes in railway systems.
과산화수소 증기 시스템을 이용한 미생물 제독에 관한 연구

Objectives: Effectiveness and conditions of vapor-phase hydrogen peroxide (VPHP) system on decontamination of Geobacillus stearothermophilus(GS) spores, Escherichia coli (E.coli) and Enterobacteria phage felix01 (felix01) were determined. Methods: The VPHP system was designed to vaporize 35% (w/w) solution of hydrogen peroxide, continuously to inject and withdraw VPHP. The system and VHP 1000ED (Steris) were operated such that dehumidification and conditioning were initiated without samples in the chamber. Then the samples were loaded into and removed. Coupons (glass, anodizing, silicon, viton) with GS spores ($1{\times}10^6$ colony forming unit/mL [CFU/mL]), E.coli ($1{\times}10^7$ CFU/mL) and felix01 ($1{\times}10^7$ plaque forming unit/mL[PFU/mL]), and Biological Indicator (BI) with GS spores ($1{\times}10^6$ CFU/mL) on stainless steel coupons were used. The tested samples were sonicated and vortexed, and then were plated for enumeration, followed by incubation at $55^{\circ}C$, 24 hr for GS spores, and at $37^{\circ}C$, 24 hr for E.coli and felix01. BI analysis in broth culture was only qualitative. Results: The efficacy of the VPHP system on decontamination was almost equivalent to that of VHP 1000ED. The conditions for complete decontamination with the VPHP system was as follows: concentration; 700~450 ppm, relative humidity; approximately 55%, and temperature; $34{\sim}32^{\circ}C$. When comparing the decontamination efficiency among different kinds of coupons, glass was the most effective, however, all kinds of coupons were decontaminated completely after 60 min exposure in both systems. Conclusion: The VPHP system can be recommended as an alternative system for traditional system using ethylene oxide, formaldehyde or chlorine dioxide.
Propane-DME 혼합비율에 따른 가정용 가스레인지의 열효율 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

본 연구는 현재 상용화를 추진중인 Propane-DME(dimethyl ether) 혼합가스를 가정용 가스레인지에 적용하였을 경우 각 버너에서의 열효율 특성이 KS 기준에 부합되는지를 알아보기 위하여 국내 4개사의 가정용 가스레인지를 대상으로 Propane 100%인 가스와 Propane-DME 혼합비율이 80%~20%(wt.%)인 혼합가스에 대하여 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과, DME의 발열량이 낮아 DME 혼합비율이 높아질수록 열효율은 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 4개사 중 1개사의 제품은 Propane-DME 혼합비율이 80%~20%(wt.%)인 혼합가스를 사용하였을 경우 열효율이 KS 기준인 40%에 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에, Propane-DME 혼합비율이 80%~20%(wt.%)인 혼합가스를 가정용 가스레인지에 적용하기 위해서는 적정한 기준개발이 요구된다. In this paper, the research was applied the mixture gas of Propane-DME (dimethyl ether) for being commercialization to residential gas ranges. In order to examine a correspondence between Korean Standard and thermal efficiency characteristics at each burner, experiments were performed with 100% Propane and the mixture gas of 80% Propane-20% DME. The experimental results were shown that the higher a mixture ratio of DME was used, the lower a thermal efficiency was gained. Those were due to low caloric value of DME. With 80% Propane-20% DME mixture gas, one of residential gas ranges was not satisfied the condition for the thermal efficiency value, 40%, Korean Standard. Consequently, the research needs about the standard for being commercialization to the mixture gas of Propane-DME.
