Parovarian cysts constitute 10% of adnexal masses. They were found in broad ligament and mostly arise from mesothelium and less commonly from paramesonephric element and rarely from mesonephric element. In most cases parovarian cysts were asymptomatic. So, they were found incidentally at surgery for other conditions. Torsion is infrequent and it is difficult to distinguish it from torsion of other adnexal masses, appendicitis, etc. Recently, we experienced a voluminous parovarian cyst undergoing torsion, 25㎝ in diameter. The case is presented with a review of literature.

Blue nevus of the uterine cervix is a rare benign pigmented lesion consisting of dermal melanocytes in the stroma. It is similar to those of common blue nevus of the skin. Most of these are clinically or colposcopically unsuspected and an incidental finding often found in hysterectomy specimens. The case here was incidentally found in surgical pieces after hysterectomy in 43-year-old women performed for leiomyoma. We report a case of blue nevus of the uterine cervix with a review of the literature.
탄소섬유쉬트 보강 철근콘크리트보의 휨 설계법에 관한 연구

This paper deals with the flexural behaviors and design method of R.C beams strengthened by carbon fiber sheets. The behaviors of strengthened beams which were preloaded are compared with that of a beam which was not preloaded. The structural behaviors of strengthened beams are compared with flexural theory and current codes. According to the results, it is shown that strengthening of damaged beams is structurally efficient and that the strength of the strengthened beams are improved. The composite action between concrete and CFS are preserved after strengthening regardness of preloading. And, it is shown that the behavior of strengthened beams follow simple laws of mechanics and can be predicted by codes.
CFRP로 전단 보강한 철근콘크리트 보의 거동에 관한 연구

Recently the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics(CFRP) sheets is widely used for strengthening damaged RC structures. Experiments were conducted to investigate the shear behavior of RC beams strengthened with externally bonded CFRP sheets. 5 RC beams strengthened using CFRP sheets and 1 unstrengthened beam were tested. RC beams strengthened with CFRP sheets showed different failure mode, failure due to sheet debonding or sheet rupture. and different capability to enhance shear capacity of RC beams according to the type of anchorage. Failure due to sheet debonding can be prevented by providing anchorage of additional length of sheet or mechanical anchorage. The CFRP contribution to shear capacity of RC beams could be calculated using effective stress on CFRP sheet and showed good agreement between experimental results and analytical results.
스트립형 탄소섬유쉬트로 전단 보강한 철근콘크리트 보의 거동에 관한 연구

This paper deals with the flexural behaviors of R.C beams strengthened by steel plates. The behaviors of strengthened beams which were preloaded up to 50%, 60% and 70% of the ultimate load of unstrengthened beam are compared with that of an analytical method in terms of load-strain of concrete, load-strain of steel bar, load-strain of steel plate and falilure load. In analytical method, the principle of strain compatibility and equilibrium was used and six cases were investigated according to cracked section or partially cracked section and including strain hardening effect of steel bar and steel plate or not. Comparing the result of test and analysis, both are similar in terms of load-strain of concrete, and falilure load, the results of analytical method using perfect plasticity of steel bar slightly underestimate the failure load. And each result of load-strain of steel bar, load-strain of steel plate near at failure is similar, thus the composite action between steel plate and upper concrete is assumed to be remained up to failure of R.C beam strengthened by steel plates. Consequently, the analytical method proved to be efficient and accurate in estimating the flexural response of RC beams strengthened by steel plates.

뿜칠 시공에 의한 벽체 마감 모르터의 부착강도에 관한 연구

This study is aimed to identify the property and condition of the bond of mortar in accordance with the kind of surface by extracting the optional mixing of mortar and the ratio of water to cement in the execution of spray coat work. The conclusion was summarized as follow. In case the ratio of water to cement mortar is 45 percent, its good strength of bond can not be expected as the workability required of the execution of spray coat works is not assured. In case of the mortar with the ratio of cement to sand of 1:2, the higher the ratio of water to cement becomes, the lower the strength of its bond becomes. But, in case that the ratio of cement to sand is 1 to 3, the higher the ratio of water to cement becomes, the stronger the strength of its bond becomes. The bond strength of spray-coated mortar in accordance with kind of surface materials was shown to be in orders of the cement brick surface. concrete surface using plywood form, and concrete surface using steel form.

The purpose of this study is to present data on the optimum planning and construction of aluminum curtain wall to apply high-rise buildings for improving planning and construction by performance test of aluminum curtain wall. From the results of study, the conclusion can be summarized follow. Air leakage can be diminished 3.5∼4 times in quantity and leak of water can be prevented by sticking the mullion and the silling part of sash with adhesive tape and vinyl. The leak of water through weep whole can be prevented by making the first seal and secondary membrane sheet on the contacting part of aluminum and other materials, planning the hole to cross each other in case of flowing backward of water by wind. It id identified as increasing structural steadiness by reforming projection window hand strike, reinforcing mullion fastener, reinforcing heat-treated mullion aluminum sash heat, and reinforcing bolt and nut of mullion and fastener by welding.
