The purpose of this article is to argue that the literal definitions of a word group of ‘새침하다(saechimhada)’ should be further expanded and reified, and to explain the structure and the word formation of the word group. First of all, I compared the literal meaning of the ‘새침하다(saechimhada)’ suggested in the dictionary to understand the relationships between the diverse meanings. Further, I defined the primary meaning of the expression of ‘새침하다(saechimhada)’, and suggested adding ‘the cold attitude toward others’ to the literal definition of the word group of ‘새침하다(saechimhada)’. This study also analyzed the ‘-름하다(-leumhada)’ words, and identified ‘-음(-eum)’ and ‘-으름(-euleum)’ as the root derivational suffixes. The expressions of ‘새치름하다(saechileumhada)’ and ‘시치름하다(sichileumhada)’ respectively stemmed from ‘새침하다(saechimhada)’ and ‘시침하다(sichimhada)’ by the anology of applying a set of ‘X-하다(X-hada):X름-하다(Xleum-hada)’. This article enriches our understanding of the root derivational suffixes of ‘-하다(-hada)’ as a native sensory adjective and suggests that the definitions of native sensory adjectives in the Korean dictionary should be elaborated and developed in the future.
중학생의 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 교수,학습 전략의 개발 및 적용 사례 분석

이 연구에서는 중학생의 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 교수·학습 전략을 개발하고 이를 실제 수업에 적용하였으며, 교수 학습 전략의 적용 효과와 학생 변화를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구 분석을 바탕으로 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 수업 단계를 모색하였으며, 기초 탐구 기능의 수업 적용 준거를 설정하여 명시적 수업 단계에 접목함으로써 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 교수·학습 전략을 개발하였다. 명시적 교수·학습 전략의 단계별 수업 분석결과, 학생들은 특히 명확하게 설명하기 단계와 독립적으로 연습하기 단계를 통해 기초 탐구 기능을 더 효 과적으로 이해할 수 있었다고 진술하였으며, 현장 교사는 구체적 사례 시범 보이기 단계의 중요성을 강조하였다. 기초 탐구 기능에 대한 학생들의 이해 정도분석 결과, 대부분의 질문에서 긍정적 결과를 나타냈다. 다른 교과목, 또는 일상생활에서의 파급 효과를 분석한 결과, 학생 스스로 과학 탐구 기능을 활용하려는 태도를 가지게 된 것을 확인하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 명시적 교수·학습 전략이 학생들의 기초 탐구 기능 이해에 효과적임을 연구 결과를 통해 확인하였으며, 과학 탐구 기능의 명시적 교수 학습 전략이 중등학교 현장에 적용 가능하도록 지속적으로 연구 및 개발, 보급되어야 할 것이다. In this study, explicit Teaching and Learning strategy for middle school students were developed to improve basic science process skills. After applying these strategy in an actual class, the effects of Teaching and Learning strategy and change of students were analyzed. Explicit Teaching and Learning strategy to improve basic science process skills are developed based on analyzing preceding research. The use of application criteria for class of basic science process skills combined with explicit Teaching and Learning strategy, it is sought for the explicit instructional procedures of said skills. After analyzing the class in which explicit Teaching and Learning strategy were demonstrated, students reported that they were able to comprehend basic science process skills more effectively through the stages of explicit explaining and independent practice. The showing demonstration stage was heavily emphasized by the teacher in this class. Analysis of students` understanding degree about basic science process skills, most of them show positive outcome. Another analysis of ripple effect on daily life and other subjects, it is found that students could have the attitude to make use of science process skills for themselves. Through the result of study, it is found that explicit Teaching and Learning strategy that are developed from this study are an effective way to comprehension students` basic science process skills. Thus, continued study is needed to develop and spread explicit Teaching and Learning strategy of science process skills to be applicable in actual classes in secondary schools.

The purpose of this article is to examine the root derivational suffixes that have been identified as thus in previous analyses of Korean color adjectives, and to determine whether they are roots or root derivational suffixes. Word forms that combine a derivational root with the adjective- derivational suffix ‘-hada’ (for example, geomus-hada, geomuseuleum- hada), account for most of the Korean color adjectives. The investigation of these root derivational suffixes began by compiling a list of root derivational suffixes based on previous studies. The concept of the root derivational suffix, along with the criteria for distinguishing roots and root derivational suffixes, was then established. The latter consists of the following: 1) the root derivational suffix must be a root formational element, 2) the root derivational suffix is not a lexical morpheme but a grammatical morpheme, 3) the root derivational suffix must have its original meaning and constrain the meaning of the front element of complex root. As a result, it is proposed that most of the previously identified one-syllable-repeating root derivational suffixes, such as -(eu)dede, -(eu)daengdaeng, -(eu)jabjab, -(eu)sugsug, -(eu)jogjog, -(eu)chugchug, -(eu)chungchung, -(eu)tete, -(eu)twitwi, -(eu)tungtung, -cheugcheug, -(eu)chigchig, are in fact roots and not root derivational suffixes. The most important basis for this is the fact that roots having the same form and meaning as that of the one-syllable-repeating root derivational suffixes also exist in words such as dede-hada, chungchung-hada, twitwi-hada and the like. Root derivational suffixes such as -sung, -sil, -jag, -(eo)muteuleum, -ggeum, -ggeus, -ddeug, -ggeule, -ggeumule, -(eu)ggeuleum which were combined with less than two stems were also examined and it was determined that they too were closer to roots than root derivational suffixes, as they had enough lexical meaning.
검은색 색채형용사에서의 ‘거머Y’형과 ‘검Z’형 어근의 분석

이 글에서는 검은색 색채형용사에서 분석되는 ‘거머Y’형과 ‘검Z’형 어근의 구조와 의미를 분석했다. ‘거머Y’형 어근은 두 어근 ‘거머’와 ‘Y’가 대등하게 결합된 것이다(Y: ‘누르께’, ‘번지르’ 등). ‘Y’가 색채를 나타낼 때에는 ‘Y’가 의미 중심이고 ‘거머’가 의미 주변인 것으로 해석되는 것이 자연스럽고, ‘Y’가 표면 상태를 나타낼 때에는 ‘거머’와 ‘Y’가 대등한 의미관계로 해석된다. ‘거머번지르’가 ‘거머번질’로, ‘가마무트름’이 ‘가무트름’으로 준 것은 이 어휘장에서 어근의 음절수를 4음절로 일치시키려는 경향성이 강하기 때문이다. ‘검Z’형 어근에서 ‘Z’는 어근파생접미사이다. ‘검숭검숭’, ‘검실검실’의 ‘-숭’과 ‘-실’의 의미는 “X의 상태에 가까움(X는 어기)”이고, ‘감작감작, 검적검적’의 ‘-작/적’의 의미는 “어떤 상태나 동작이 일회적으로 나타남”이다. ‘검측’의 ‘-측’은 ‘불측(不測), 망측(罔測)’의 ‘-측(測)’에서 발달한 것이고, ‘-측’의 의미는 “어둡고 맑지 않음, 엉큼함”이다. In this article, the structure and meaning of the "거머Y" and "검Z" types of root are analyzed in black color adjectives. The "거머Y" type root is an equal combination of the two roots "거" and "Y"(Y: "누르께", "번지르", etc.). When "Y" indicates color, it is natural for "Y" to be interpreted as the semantic center and "거머" to be interpreted as the semantic periphery, and when "Y" indicates surface condition, 거머" and "Y" are interpreted as having an equal semantic relation. The reason why "거머번지르" was reduced to "거머번질" and "가마무트름" was reduced to "가무트름" is that there is a strong tendency in this vocabulary to match the syllable of the root to one of the four syllables. In the "검Z" type of root, "Z" is a root derivational suffix. The meaning of "-숭" and "-실" in "검숭검숭" and "검실검실" is "close to the state of X (X is base)". The meaning of "-작/적" in "감작감작, 검적검적" is "a one-time representation of any condition or behavior". The "-측" of "검측" was developed from the "-측(測)" of "불측(不測), 망측(罔測)" and the meaning of "-측" is "dark, not clear, sneaky".
