The free vibration analyses of the isotropic and CFRP laminated composite rectangular plates with point supports at the fix edge is performed by FEM. We showed optimal position and mode shape of point supports that maximized fundamental natural frequency of the isotropic and CFRP laminated composite rectangular plates by each aspect ratio and the number of point supports.

Manufacturing condition is one of the important factor in precision manufacturing. In this study, we optimized minimizing the Tri-axis vibration acceleration level(VAL) using ANOM(analysis of means) and ANOVA(analysis of variance) by table of orthogonal array. ANOM was well adapted to select levels of design variables for minimization of VAL. The effective design variables and their levels should be determined using ANOVA. Therefore, it is expected that the proposed procedure using table of orthogonal array, ANOM, ANOVA can be easily utilized to solve the problem of manufacture condition.

Working condition is one of the most important factors in precision working. In this study, we optimized the vibration acceleration level(VAL) of Al 2024 alloy to select optimum working condition of side wall end-milling using RSM(Response Surface Methodology). RSM was well adapted to make analytic model for minimizing vibration acceleration, created the objective function and saved a great deal of computational time. Therefore, it is expected that the proposed optimization procedure using RSM can be easily utilized to solve the optimization problem of working condition. The experimental results of the surface roughness and VAL showed the validity of the proposed working condition of side wall end-milling as it can be observed.
