Recently, the growth of electric railway technology steadily keep up in the korea, and occupancy rate of electric railway system increased as a transportation method so energy consumption of railway system is increasing. According to this reason, the many studys of energy consumption in the railway system are in progress. In this context, the TTX(Tilting Train eXpress) needs to measure and analyze energy consumption and regenerative energy. In this paper, because of driving of TTX in the Ho-Nam railroad and Jung-Ang railroad, consumpted and regenerated energy are measured. This measured data is classified and analyzed as driving mode.

Using composite materials for the carbody of tilting train has many advantages such as manufacturing variety, specific high-strength & stiffness characteristics, and long-life durability, but the strongest advantage could be the possibility of lightweight product. In the leading countries, the composite materials are used for the material for drivers' cabs, interior/exterior equipments for railway train, and it is now developing the composite materials applied for the train carbody structure. In this paper, we conducted the evaluation of structural stability for the aluminum and composite carbody of the Korean Tilting Train eXpress(TTX) with the service speed of 180㎞/h.

So, energy consumption of railway system is increasing. According to this reason, the many study of energy efficiency in the railway system are in progress. In this context, electric railway needs to measure and analyze electric power as drive states. And, drive states are classified into coasting state, acceleration state, and regenerative breaking state This paper focus on regenerative breaking state, and we descant through measured data of test driving of Tilting Train express

Recently, TTX(Tilting Train eXpress) has operated test. Electric railways, including the TTX, have electric problems(harmonic etc) that could bring about serious accidents.. Thus, TTX's electrical problems also need leading studies because the new Korean TTX will operate earnestly in 2012. In this paper, electrical signals in TTX operation were detected to analyze electrical harmonic. The electrical harmonics considered operation modes triparted(coasting, acceleration, braking) were analysed and evaluated.

OBJECTIVES: Growth hormone is expected to delay the degenerative changes of the intervertebral disc and affect the initial recovery process of cartilage injury, but these effects are still open to disputes. METHODS: This researcher injected growth hormone to the intervertebral disc and subcutaneous tissue of rabbits whose degenerative change were induced artificially, and evaluated the treatment effects of growth hormone through a comparison between the injected and control groups of rabbits. The intervertebral discs between the 3th and 4th vertebrae were extracted 4 weeks after the administration of growth hormone and then histologically graded in a quantitative method. Changes in the height of the intervertebral discs were measured after the induction of degenerative changes. After four weeks of the treatment, then, the height changes were measured. RESULTS: In the subcutaneous-growth hormone injected group, any consistent, sequential, and progressive degeneration of the annular fibrosus was not observed through histopathological studies. The disc height also sequentially did not decrease from that at the time of the injury set in this study. CONCLUSIONS: Considering the histopathological findings of the study, the researcher suggests that subcutaneous injection of growth hormone will be a therapeutic model of disc degeneration. But further biochemical or electromicroscopic studies are necessary to clarify the mechanism of delay degenerative disc changes by growth hormone.
