In this paper, we introduce a sensory effect metadata (SEM) reappearance verification platform based on MPEG-V international standard. This system can verify the XML format of the SEM based on MPEG-V and the reappearance synchronization between the target content and the SEM. We describe the basic concept and simulation test of this platform, and grope for MPEG-V based future works.
병렬프로그램의 효율적인 경합탐지를 위한 병렬 디버거 설계

Data races could result in unintended non-deterministic executions of the parallel programs on the shared memory. So, detecting races, particularly first data races, is important for debugging explicit shared memory parallel programs. Previous techniques to detect first races are inefficient for programmer showing first races by text or low-level viewer. To detect first races more effectively, we present a design of parallel debugger. The parallel debugger is made up a module of first races detection and a module of first races report. The first races detection in this paper are constant in both the number of event comparisons and the space complexity on each access to shared variable because the size of an access history for each shared variable is a small constant. The report of first races in this paper is visible for programmer to convenient. Therefore, this debugger makes detection of first races more efficient and practical for debugging parallel programs on the shared memory.
내포병렬성을 가진 공유메모리 프로그램의 수행중 최초경합 탐지를 위한 효율적 기법

내포병렬성을 가진 공유메모리 병렬프로그램의 효과적인 디버깅을 위해서, 프로그램의 비결정적 수행을 최초로 초래하는 경합을 효율적으로 탐지하는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 최초경합을 수행 중에 탐지하는 기존의 기법은 두 번의 프로그램 수행을 통해서 탐지하면서 각 공유변수마다 프로그램의 최대병렬성에 의존적인 크기의 접근역사를 유지하므로 비효율적인 수행시간과 기억공간을 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 두 번의 프로그램 수행을 통해서 수행 중에 각 공유변수에 대한 접근역사를 상수적 크기로 유지하므로, 각 접근사건의 수행 시에 상수적 복잡도의 사건비교 횟수와 기억 공간만을 요구하는 새로운 최초경합 탐지기법을 제안한다. 그러므로 본 기법은 내포병렬성을 가진 공유메모리 병렬프로그램의 디버깅을 위해서 보다 효율적이고 실용적인 경합탐지를 가능하게 한다. For debugging effectively the shared-memory programs with nested parallelism, it is important to detect efficiently the first races which incur non-deterministic executions of the programs. Previous on-the-fly technique detects the first races in two passes, and shows inefficiencies both in execution time and memory space because the size of an access history for each shared variable depends on the maximum parallelism of program. This paper proposes a new on-the-fly technique to detect the first races in two passes, which is constant in both the number of event comparisons and the space complexity on each access to shared variable because the size of an access history for each shared variable is a small constant. This technique therefore makes on-the-fly race detection more efficient and practical for debugging shared-memory programs with nested parallelism.

In this paper, we introduce a VR platform for reality experience using sensory effect metadata (SEM) based on MPEG-V international standard. This platform consist of the digital contents authoring technique, MPEG-V international standard and the reappearance synchronization between the target content and the SEM. The cases of the VR platform for realistic experience are interactive realistic media experience, curved riding surface experience, 360 degree circular vision experience, pseudo hologram experience and teleporting realistic experience platform etc.

In this paper, we introduce a realistic media service platform in MPEG-V standard test-bed environments. The RMSP is composed of two groups: OpenLab. and OpenAPI. The OpenLab. is test-bed of realistic media production life cycle such as content production, authoring the sensory effect metadata, verification of synchronization between content and sensory effect metadata and so on. The OpenAPI is SDK for realistic media production such as realistic media reappearance library and standard controller. We describe the concept of OpenLab and OpenAPI.

In this paper, Preprocessing(Thinning) Printed Korean Character was studied Algorithm in terms of the Blocking Masking and Decision step by effective Recognition. The results were as follow ; The Recognition Rates were 98 Percents. And Average Recognition Time were 0.42 seconds. Then the Recognition Rates was obtained a high compression Error by the Preprocessing. The effective Mesh Vector Method Required for study.
확장된 관계대수와 관계연산을 이용한 ESQL의 설계 및 구현

Recently, there are some attempts to use relational data model in statistcal database system However, the relational data model including the SQL does not include set-valued fields and aggregate functions. In this paper, the SQL is extended to manipulate set-valued attributes and to utilize aggregate functions, thus accessed to the so called ESQL with new operators having extended relational algebra and calculus. This ESQL creates and manipulates statistical views and also processes aggregate functions. As a result, the ESQL system designed for more efficient query processing consists of user interface, ESQL analyzer, ESQL precompiler, extended operator's processor and summary DB. Finally, we confirmed that the ESQL provides an adaptability of, SQL fog statistical query manipulation by implementing using LEX and YACC.

SQL is one of the most popular query language in relational database. Also, SQL is high level structure for logical processing of data and more easier than other query language for using. But SQL without set-valued attributes is not suitable for statistical database(SDB). So, we extend SQL language in order to use it in SDB applications. Extended SQL with set-valued attributes processes aggregate formation, pack, unpack, and aggregation-by-template operations. Also, we suggest a set of procedures for translating extended SQL query into relational algebra for optimization and implement translation using LEX and YACC. Translated relational algebra provides unambiguous specification and fast implementation.

This paper presents a method for dynamic construction of dictionary, where semantic attributes can be added to their initial attributes. The semantic attributes has their relative values that represent how many times they have occured in sentences. This mechanism is similar to human's process in natural language acquisition and it can be used for resolving the ambiguous modifying scope in less time and space complexity.
