Recently, massive harm from fugitive dust caused by construction vehicles has occurred at construction sites in urban areas of Korea. In particular, fine dust contained in fugitive dust causes health problems to residents and workers near the site, so it must be predicted and managed in advance. Therefore, in this study, major materials that are expected to be transported in a large amount are derived, and the method of calculating emission factors and total emission of PM caused by transporting the materials are studied for the purpose of predicting the amount of PM generated by transporting major materials at construction sites. As a result, emission factors are derived according to the transport of major materials, and the method for calculating the emissions at the construction site is proposed.

The purpose of the whole process evaluation of a building is to reduce environmental impact emissions by evaluating the environmental impact of the building during its previous life. As part of the carbon emission reduction strategy in the building sector, this study aims to increase the efficiency of building process evaluation by presenting standards for input per unit area of building materials in apartment buildings using probabilistic analysis methods. To this end, this study collected the input quantity per unit area of building materials by sampling 21 multi-family houses that conducted the entire building process evaluation. This was derived and analyzed using Monte Carlo simulations. Through this, efficiency was ensured by simplifying the whole process evaluation method of the building.
IoT 기반의 건설현장 미세먼지 모니터링 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

Recently, particulate matter(PM) caused by internal factors such as industrialization and urbanization as well as external factors such as Asian dust is a serious problem in Korea. In particular, while the emission due to construction appears to be very serious among the internal factors, it is necessary to manage PM in consideration of the characteristics of construction sites. Accordingly, in this study, a PM management system suitable for construction sites was developed to reduce civil complaints caused by PM and to minimize damage to field workers and nearby residents by supporting the fine dust management system of the state and local governments. The factors to be considered when measuring PM due to the specificity of construction sites were considered, and the system components were developed based on the considerations. As a result, an IoT based construction site PM monitoring system (CPMS) that integrates each component was established.

According to the domestic carbon neutralization policy, greenhouse gas emissions reduction is required for buildings, and for this purpose, greenhouse gas emissions reduction is required through green remodeling. Although it is essential to life cycle assessment of remodeled buildings to measure greenhouse gas emissions, it is difficult to assessment them due to the lack of assessment methods. Therefore, as part of the construction of the life cycle assessment methodology for green remodeling buildings, this study defined the functional unit, reference flow, and system boundary of remodeling buildings based on the life cycle assessment items in G-SEED and proposed a step-by-step evaluation method.

As the global sustainable development becomes more and more important, the international community pays more attention to the building life cycle assessment. In 2011, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China presented the building life cycle assessment guidelines called 〈Standard for sustainability assessment of building project〉 as a national standard to guide building life cycle assessment. This paper aims to provide support for the improvement of building life cycle assessment, investigated and analyzed the methods of building life cycle assessment in Standard for sustainability assessment of building project of China. In the end, this paper obtained the process table of the building life cycle assessment guidelines of China.
