This paper aims at developing remote control system to control and monitor distributed various devices such as photovoltaic inverter system through internet. TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) and photovoltaic inverter system operated in a row are adopted for network management protocol and applied device, respectively. For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in real-time, java-environment software is constructed. Also, Hello Device, general-use interface controller between network device and applied device is proposed. Finally, serial communication such as RS-232C is used between controller and applied device.<br/> <br/>

Photovoltaic systems normally use a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique to continuously deliver the highest possible power to the load when variations in the insolation and temperature occur A simple method of tracking the maximum power points (MPPs) and forcing the boost converter system to operate close to these points is presented through denying small-signal model and transfer function of boost converter This paper aims at modeling boost converter including equivalent series resistance of imput reservoir capacitor by state-space-averaging method. In the future, properly designed controller for compensation will be constructed for maximum photovoltaic power tracking control.<br/> <br/>

This paper presents the performance results of roof-integrated 3kW PV (Photovoltaic) system by field testing. Form these results, the loss factors of PV system are compared and analyzed.

3kW grid-connected photovoltaic(PV) systems and data acquisition system are constructed for performance analysis of PV system at field demonstration test center of Gwang- Ju in Korea. As climatic and irradiation conditions are varied, opera6on characteristics of the PV system are collected and analyzed in data acquisition system. From these results, the performances of PV systems have simulated and evaluated using simulation tool in comparison with actual value of data acquisition system of field demonstration test center. Furthermore, performance of each PV system e.g. electric power and loss factor is reviewed.

This paper presents the performance results of 50㎾ grid-connected PV (Photovoltaic) system for monitoring periods. Form these performance monitoring results, the PV system performance has been evaluated and analyzed for component perspective (PV array and power conditioning unit) and global perspective (system efficiency, capacity factor, and electrical power energy and power quality etc.).
