This paper describes several approaches to transform a speaker’s individuality to another’s individuality using frequency warping between bilingual formant frequencies on different language environments. The proposed methods are simple and intuitive voice conversion algorithms that do not use training data between different languages. The approaches find the warping function from source speaker’s frequency to target speaker’s frequency on formant space. The formant space comprises four representative monophthongs for each language. The warping functions can be represented by piecewise linear equations, inverse matrix. The used features are pure frequency components including magnitudes, phases, and line spectral frequencies (LSF). The experiments show that the LSF-based voice conversion methods give better performance than other methods.

In this paper, we consider the implementation of connected digit recognition system using tree structured lexicon model. To implement efficiently the fixed or variable length digit recognition system, finite state network (FSN) is required. We merge the word network algorithm that implements the FSN with lexical tree search algorithm that is used for general speech recognition system for fast search and large vocabulary systems. To find the efficient modeling of digit recognition system, we investigate some performance changes when the lexical tree search is applied.

In this paper, we consider the implementation of connected digit recognition system and the several approaches to improve its performance. We merge the word network algorithm that implements the FSN with one pass dynamic programming search algorithm that is used for general speech recognition system for fast search. To find the efficient modeling of digit recognition system, we perform some experiments along the various conditions to affect the performance and summarize the results.

This paper proposes improved recognition and tracking algorithm for an object using block matching. Using the block matching algorithm, matching and non-matching parts of an image are searched and tracked separately to result in faster and more accurate objection recognition. The object recognition process was separated into two stages: tracking and searching. For the searching stage, a simplified SIFT algorithm was used, and for the tracking stage, WNCC(Weighted Normalized Cross Correlation) was used, which yielded improved block matching algorithm and higher match rate than using NCC(Normalized Cross Correlation), to increase tracking efficiency. Robust tracking was possible to change the brightness when WNCC block matching tracking used. Our proposed methods such as, image matching, reduced computing resources and prohibition of re-tracking could be run on mobile smart phone.

This paper proposes the functionality of communication network management which operates in central control station of satellite communication network, which will be constructed to DAMA-SCPC ground station using KOREASAT. And communication network configuration components are classified with hierarchical structure in order to efficiently maintain communication network operation management, and configuration components that are classified into graphic objects and this graphic objects are visualized with tree structure which can be handled uniformally and efficiently. In addition to that, this paper proposes expression method of graphic object to implement our real time communication network management system, and the real time communication network management composed as client-server system. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed through the computer simulation.
