Physical characteristics of Korean male have been gradually westernized, and it is diversified for economic growth and westernized diet. It is important to reflect these features in the development of some products and services. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed the measured data of the major body dimension of 2345 adult male in order to investigate characteristics of the Korean adult male, A total of four factors have been extracted by factor analysis and 5 category of characteristics of the Korean adult male was identified. Thick arms and legs category have the largest portion in 30’s, on the other hand, longer and larger upper body category was the largest in 40’s and 50’s. In 60’s, the proportion of short and thin and upper body was the greatest and limbs and torso tends to become thinner. The results of this study can be used for manufacturing clothing or designing driver"s seat as a basic material.

While measuring 1000m running record of high school students, I witnessed that corpulent students feel harder than ordinary students do while running and confirmed that the 1000m running record of the corpulent students is poor as compared with that of ordinary students. I felt a sense of mission that it is required to take measures for the corpulent students, and conducted this study under the understanding of the corpulent students themselves, their class teachers and parents. The conclusion of this study is as follows: 1)The corpulent students who intend to do physical exercise but really carry out their intention have successfully participated in this program as the instruction programs that consider their life style, physical conditions and preference of physical exercise have been effectively implemented including relatively small mountain climbing. 2)Amusing games have been offered to the corpulent students so that they are accustomed to do warming-up and finishing exercise as well as reinforcing exercise form time to time. And relatively over-corpulent students could improve their physical endurance by climbing mountain in a systematic manner.

안드로이드 런처 사용 행태 조사 및 주요 고려 요소 분석에 관한 연구

스마트폰이 활성화 되면서 기업에서는 서비스의 진입 경로가 되는 런처의 역할에 주목하고 있다. 이는 런처를 통해 자사의 서비스를 사용하도록 유도할 수 있고, 이를 통해 수익을 창출할 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서 사용자들이 주로 선호하는 런처의 UI 디자인과 사용자들의 사용 행태를 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 사용자들이 현재 스마트폰의 홈화면을 어떤 형태로 사용하고 있는지 분석하고, 런처를 선택할 때 고려하는 요소들이 무엇인지 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 우선 구글 플레이 스토어에 출시된 주요 런처들의 주요 구성 요소와 기능들을 시장조사를 통해 파악하였다. 런처 구성 요소는 크게 화면 잠금 화면과 홈 스크린으로 구분되었고, 홈 스크린은 배경화면, 앱 배치로 구분되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 런처 기능 요소는 관리 용이성, 디자인 및 다양한 테마, 추가 편의 기능, 다양한 화면 전환 효과, 기본 구동 속도로 파악되었다. 49명의 피실험자를 대상으로 스마트폰 홈 화면 스크린샷을 수집하고 구성 요소에 따른 사용 행태와 주요 고려 기능 요소에 대한 설문 조사를 수행하였다. 응답자 중 79.8%의 사람들이 제조사에서 제공한 기본 런처를 사용하고 있었고, 앱의 특성에 따라 앱을 화면상에 배치하는 위치가 달랐으며, 배경화면을 인물사진으로 사용하는 사용자들은 인물을 가리지 않도록 앱을 배치하는 성향이 있었다. 또한 런처를 선택 시 버벅임없는 속도(49.3%), 화면구성 및 앱, 위젯, 그룹의 관리 용이성(30.5%)를 가장 중요하게 고려하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 사용자들의 사용 행태와 주요 고려하는 기능 요소를 토대로 런처 디자인을 효과적이고 효율적으로 디자인하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. The launcher provides opportunity for user who are not satisfied with their own embedded UI to customize it. Businesses have been paying attention to launcher because it could be entry of service as smartphone led mobile phone market. This is because launcher could induce user to use the firm’s service for increment of profit. Therefore, it is important to understand user preferred UI design and users’ using behaviour. The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors taken into account choosing android launcher and to understand android user behavior. This study conducted a market research to understand the main components and functional elements of the launcher. Main components of the launcher were figured out as lock screen and home screen. Main functional elements were ease-of-manage, design and various theme, additional convenient function, various scene change effect, basic operating performance. A user survey of 49 subjects was conducted and screenshots of their home screens were collected. 79.8% of subjects didn’t install customized launcher. Users considered performance of launcher at first(49.3%), layout is second order of priority to select launcher(30.5%), and followed by design. This research figured out the main components and functional elements of the launcher and their importance respectively. The results of this study are expected to help designing launcher effectively and efficiently.

The study is to analyze and examine the Change of Situations related to the shots in Hockey games. For the efficient performance of this study, the success rate of shots in each country, attack rate, the save situation of defence, the position-line, instability were investigated. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. The success rates of total shots were significantly high in GBR and low in FRG. 2. Attack rates were significantly high in AUS and low in HOL. And then, the attack rates of field shots were significantly high in FRG and penalty corners were significantly high in HOL. 3. Regarding to the games between the high ranked teams, the highest shot rates had not an effect on the match results. 4. Regarding to field shots in the Characteristics of the position-line related to shots type, GBR and AUS depended on the Forward, while FRG and HOL depended on the Middlefielder and Half-back(D.F). 5. Instability of shots was revealed significantly high in FRG and AUS, and the instability of defence was high in AUS and HOL.

모바일 기기에서의 화면크기와 글자크기가 가독성에 미치는 효과

최근 다양한 활동이 이루어지고 있는 모바일 기기에서의 가독성은 제품의 품질을 결정짓는 주요한 요인으로 자리잡고 있다. 모바일 기기에서의 가독성은 화면크기에 따라 영향을 받으며, 화면의 크기는 글자크기와 상호 교환적 관계에 있다. 본 연구에서는 모바일 기기에서의 화면 크기와 글자크기가 가독성에 미치는 효과를 한글을 통해 알아보고자 한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 세 가지 크기의 모바일 기기에서의 다섯 가지 글자크기에 대한 읽기시간을 측정하는 실험을 피험자 33 명을 대상으로 진행하였다. 실험 분석 결과, 화면크기와 글자크기에 따른 교호작용이 나타났다. 화면크기 소와 중에서는 글자크기 2.4mm 에서 가장 빠른 읽기시간을 보였으며 2.6mm 에서는 가장 느린 읽기시간을 보였다. 화면크기 대에서는 글자크기 2.6mm 에서 가장 빠른 읽기시간을 보였으며 2.2mm 에서 가장 느린 읽기시간을 보였다. 따라서 최적의 읽기 수행능력을 위해서는 화면크기가 달라짐에 따라 글자크기 또한 다르게 적용되어야 한다. 본 연구의 실험결과는 설계자와 사용자가 화면크기와 글자크기에 대한 선택을 하는데 가이드가 될 수 있을 것이다. Activities with smart devices have been more complicated and diversified, and font legibility is the major factor that influences these activities both directly and indirectly. The legibility of the devices is affected by display size, which is related to font size on the display. This study investigated the effect of display size and font size of Korean letter on readability of mobile devices. This study measured readability by examining reading time for three different display size with five different font sizes from 33 participants. We analyzed the main effect of display size and font size, as well as their interaction effect. The result showed that there was a significant interaction effect between display size and font size. On small display and medium display, the reading time was the shortest in font size 2 .4mm, and the longest in font size 2.6mm. On large display, the reading time was the shortest in font size 2 .6mm, and the longest in font size 2.2mm. The result of this study will help designers and users in selecting the display and font size.
