        GC/NPD와 GC/ECD를 이용한 잔류농약 정량 분석법으로써의 QuEChERS의 평가

        The modified QuEChERS method was evaluated for rapid determination of pesticide residues in spinach by gas chromatography-nitrogen phosphorous detector (NPD) and electron capture detector (ECD). Fifty GC-amenable pesticides which were most frequently detected in monitoring were selected in the current study. Matrix-matched calibration was performed. The detector response for all pesticides was linear with determination coefficients higher than 0.995. LODs for most compounds ranged between 0.001 and 0.1 ug/g,and about 90% of the compounds had LODs of less than 0.05 ug/g. LOQs ranged from 0.001 to 0.32 ug/g,which were well below the MRLs permitted for most of pesticides. In the majority of cases, the recoveries (80-120%) and relative standard deviations (RSDs) (less than 20%) were within acceptable levels except for dichlorvos, propamocarb, chlorothalonil, dichlofluanid, cyhalothrin and fenvalerate. Also, this method which is applied to routine samples showed good results when comparing with traditional multi-residue method. GC-NPD와 GC-ECD를 사용하여 잔류농약을 신속하게 정량 할 수 있는 변형 된 QuEChERS법이 시금치를 이용하여 검토되었다. 본 연구에서는 잔류농약 모니터링에서 주로 검출되며 GC로 측정 가능한 50가지 농약을 대상으로 하였다. 무농약 시금치를 이용하여 검량선을 작성하였으며, R2 값은 0.995 이상으로 모든 농약이 직선상을 나타내었다. 분석 농약의 검출한계는 0.001~0.1 ug/g로 나타났으며, 분석농약의 90% 이상이 0.05 ug/g 이하를 나타내었다. 정량한계는 0.001~0.32 ug/g로, 이는 농약의 잔류 허용기준치 보다 낮았다. Dichlorvos, propamocarb,chlorothalonil, dichlofluanid, cyhalothrin 그리고 fenvalerate를 제외하고는 대부분의 경우 회수율은 80~120%, RSD는 20% 이하로 나타났다. QuEChers는 기존 다중분석법과 비교해볼 때 일상적인 분석 시료에 응용했을 때 용매 사용량을 획기적으로 줄임으로써 친환경적 일뿐만 아니라 경제적이며 분석시간의 단축을 통해 유통 농산물의 안전성확보에 기여할 수 있는 바가 크다고 할 수 있겠다.

        An Anthropometric and Three-Dimensional Computed Tomographic Evaluation of Two-Point Fixation of Zygomatic Complex Fractures

        Background: Maintaining stability and restoring the aesthetic appearance are the fundamentalgoals when managing zygomatic fractures. We aimed to evaluate the stability andanthropometric outcomes of zygomatic fracture patients who underwent two-point fixationinvolving the infraorbital rim and zygomaticomaxillary buttress via the transconjunctival andgingivobuccal approaches without any skin incisions. Methods: We examined 15 zygomatic fracture patients who underwent two-point fixationduring a 3-year period. Stability was evaluated using three-dimensional facial bone computedtomography. Superoinferior and anteroposterior displacement of the zygoma was quantified. The aesthetic appearance of the periorbital region was evaluated using indirect anthropometrywith standardized clinical photographs. The ratios between the eye fissure height and width,and lower iris coverage ratio were used to evaluate aesthetical changes. The bony displacementand aesthetic ratios were analyzed using Wilcoxon or Friedman tests. The correlation betweenthe preoperative zygoma position and anthropometric values was analyzed. Results: The positions of the zygoma were similar to those on the contralateral side at thelong-term follow-up. The preoperative anthropometric measurements on the fractured sidediffered from those on the contralateral side, although these values were close to the normalvalues at the long-term follow-up. Furthermore, we noted that the anteroposterior displacementstrongly positively correlated with the lower iris coverage rate (Spearman’s coefficient=0.678, P=0.005). Conclusions: Two-point fixation of zygomatic fractures achieved stable outcomes on longtermfollow-up, and also appeared to be reliable in restoring the aesthetic appearance of theperiorbital region.

        필러의 실란처리농도가 복합레진의 특성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to search the optimal silane concentrations for filler- silanization of seven experimental composites. Silica filler was a 25 micron crushed type. 0.0%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%, and 3.0% silane(r-methacrylooxypropyltrimethoxysilane) were added into silica-filler with weight percentage(wt%). Mixtures (silica filler/silane)were reacted at 60℃ for 72hours, and crushed into fine particles those were used as fillers for 7 experimental composites. Monomer was a 3:1 mixture of Bis-GMA and TEGDMA containing 0.2% tertiary amine and 0.4% camphoroquinone for light curability. A ratio for mixing the monomer and filler was 75% and 25% respectively. Seven experimental composites was classified with the concentration of silane treated, and the specimen number for each test was 10. Specimens with 6mm diameter and 3mm height dimension for measuring the diametral tensile strength were destroyed with 1mm/min cross-head speed on Instron universal testing machine (No. 4467, USA). Shear bond strength was measured on the specimens bonded to bovine enamel etched with 37% phosphoric acid solution for 1 minute. Fractured surfaces were observed by SEM (Hitachi S-3200, Japan) among that of the highest values measured from each groups. Following results were obtained: 1.Experimental compositeds containing silanized filler showed the significantly higher diametral tensile strength and shear bond strength than the composites containing un-silanized fillers(Group1) (p<0.05). 2.In silanized filler composite resins(Group 2~7), Diametral tensile strength of Group 3 showed the significantly higher than that of Group 2 and Group 6(p<0.05). 3.Shear bond strength was higher in Group 3 than that of Group 7 (p<0.05)in silanized fillers composite resins. 4.Fracture surface was formed in resin matrixes on the specimens from composites containing the fillers treated with 0.5%, 1.0%, and 1.5% silane. These results mean that the optimal silane concentrations are exist for each filler with its size and surface area, and that 1.0% is a optimal value for concentration to coat the 25㎛ filler with silane.

        상아질에 대한 저점도 복합레진의 자가접착에 관한 연구

        The objectiveness of this study was to evaluate whether low-viscosity composite can bond effectively to dentin surface without bonding resin. The low-viscosity composites being 50wt% filler content were made by the inclusion of bonding resin of two self-etching systems(Clearfil SE Bond, Unifil Bond) varied with contents as 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50wt%. Exposed dentin surfaces of extracted 3rd molars are used. Dentin bond strengths were measured. The tests were carried out with a micro-shear device placed testing machine at a CHS of 1mm/min after a low-viscosity composite was filled into an iris cut from micro tygon tubind with internal diameter approximately 0.8mm and height of 1.0mm. 1. Flexural strength and modulus was increased with the addition of bonding resin. 2. Micro-shear bond strength to dentin was improved according to content of bonding resin irrespective of applying or not bonding resin in bonding procedure, and that of Clearfil SE Bond groups was higher than Unifil Bond. 3. There were no significant difference whether use of each bonding resin in bonding procedure for S-40, S-50, U-50(p>0.05). 4. In SEM examination, resin was well infiltrated into dentin after primed with self-etching primer only for S-50 and U-50 in spite of the formation of thinner hybrid layer. Low viscosity composite including some functional monomer may be used as dentin bonding resin without an intermediary bonding agent. It makes a simplified bonding procedure and foresees the possibility of self-adhesive restorative material.

      • A Case of Thyrotoxic Periodic Paralysis in 17-Year-Old Adolescent

        갑상샘중독주기적마비는 저칼륨혈증과 갑상선중독증에 관련된 근마비를 보이는 드문 질환이다. 갑상샘중독주시적마비는 칼륨채널이상 또는 갑상샘 기능이상으로 인해 발생할 수 있다. 갑상샘중독주기적마비는 20대에서 40대 사이의 아시아계 남성에서 호발하며 아동이나 청소년에서는 드물다. 운동마비 등 임상증상은 칼륨, 프로프라노롤 그리고 메티마졸 치료 직후에 호전이 된다. 그러나 갑상샘기능 검사 소견은 3개월 후에도 정상화되지 않았다. 17세 청소년에서의 갑상샘중독주기적마비 1례를 보고하는 바이다. Thyrotoxic periodic paralysis (TPP) is a rare disease of muscle paralysis associated with hypokalemia and thyrotoxicosis. Hypokalemic periodic paralysis can be caused by potassium channelopathy or thyroid dysfunction. Thyrotoxic hypokalemic periodic paralysis is far more common in Asian males aged between 20 to 40 years and rare in children and adolescents, Clinical symptoms with motor paralysis were recovered just after treatment of potassium, propranolol, and methimazole. However, thyroid function tests were not normalized until 3 month treatment of methimazole and propranolol. We report a 17 -year-old patient diagnosed with Graves' disease with TPP. Thyroid function test should including in periodic paralysis patient's evaluation.

        Because of the rapid increase of the number of elderly people, there are many problem in modern society. Especially the support of elderly people is becoming the hot issue, which results from a nuclear family and social activity of woman. The Policy of community care of the elderly people in western is caused by a heavy cost and isolation from the society of a facility care policy. Since 198O, Concept of 'home care for elderly people' has been appeared in korea. The Facility causing by these movement is 'Multipurpose senior center'. The purpose of this study is to present the alternative data to improve the quality of medical and rehabilitation part in multipurpose senior center. Data collecting skills such as drawing documents analysis, interviews, observation were used to examine the condition of medical and rehabilitation. And, case study method was used to generate the altenatlve medel which can be used for the spatial composition and the area calculation.
