Pleurotus spp. have been used for edible and medicinal purposes in Asian countries for a long time. The fruiting bodies of the Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus citrinopileatus and Pleurotus salmoneostramineus contained many physiologically beneficial substances for human health. Therefore, it is necessary to study the genetic diversity of Pleurotus mushroom cultivars commercially cultivated in Korea. Eleven strains of Pleurotus spp. were collected from different geographical regions in South-East Asia and ITS regions of rDNA and RAPD of genomic DNA were analyzed. The size of the ITS1 and ITS2 regions of rDNA from the different strains varied from 167 to 254 bp and 156 to 213 bp, respectively. The sequence of ITS1 was more variable than that of ITS2, and the 5.8S sequences were identical. A phylogenetic tree based on the ITS region sequences indicated that selected strains could be classified into 4 clusters. Eleven Pleurotus species were also analyzed by RAPD with 20 arbitrary primers. Ten of these primers were efficiently amplified the genomic DNA. The number of amplified bands varied with the primers and strains, with polymorphic fragments in the range from 0.1 to 2.0kb. The results revealed that genetic diversity of selected strains of P. ostreatus, P. citrinopileatus and P. salmoneostramineus is low.
최적 IT 환경제어를 위한 데이터센터의 냉각시스템 및 공기분배시스템 계획에 관한 연구

Internet Data Center (IDC) heat removal is one of the most essential yet least understood of all critical IT environment processes. The cooling of data centers has emerged as a significant challenge as the density of computing equipment increases. All cooling systems use a Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) and or a Computer Room Air Handling (CRAH) unit of some kind, which come in various capacities and remove the heat energy from the room. However, the primary distinctions that affect the capability of cooling systems are rooted in the distribution system. There are five heat removal methods and two common physical equipment arrangements that can be combined to create ten basic types of cooling systems. Air supply and air return systems each have three and four different configurations which can be combined to create thirteen basic types. An understanding of the many types of cooling/air distribution systems and their attributes can be used to develop guidelines for when each type should be used, and such guidelines are provided in this study for both raised floor and hard floor applications. In this research, cooling and air distribution system aspects of design criteria were analyzed by quantitative data, acquired by surveyed 36 domestic and overseas multi-megawatt data centers. And this paper provides the best configurations and design criteria for different IT environments and common practices and equipment options that may increase cooling system availability. The information presented here is a foundation allowing IT professionals to successfully manage the specification, installation, and operation of IT environment cooling systems.

The primary purpose of a computer room of data center and associated infrastructure is to support the operation of critical IT equipment. Traditionally, most owners of large critical data centers have been more than willing to accept a reasonable amount of computer room worker discomfort if necessary to support critical IT systems. All electrical equipment produces heat, which must be removed to prevent the equipment temperature from rising to an unacceptable level. Most information technology equipment and other equipment found in a data center or network room is air-cooled. Sizing a cooling system requires an understanding of the amount of heat produced by the equipment contained in the enclosed space, along with the heat produced by the other heat sources typically encountered.

Composite coatings were prepared by co-depositing fine particles of metallic or non-metallic compounds with the metal matrix. With a newly developed nano powder, the nano particles strengthened composite coatings are increasingly attracting scientific and technological interest by virtue of their high hardness, lo friction coefficient and total inertness to any acid or other chemical attack. Among these ultra fine particles, ultra dispersed diamond particles are increasingly attracting considerable scientific and technological interest. However, commercially available powders of detonation nano diamond are complex conglomerates consisting of discrete levels of aggregation. In this work, experiments have been carried out to study the effect of ultrasonic treatment time on the mechanical properties and surface morphology of the electroless Ni-P/nano diamond(ND) composite coating. The results show that the nano-particles are uniformly distributed in the composite coating, and the microstructure of the composite coating is much finer and denser compared with the pure Ni plating.
