This research is aimed at what influence this kind of cooperative physical activity have on preschoolers' self-regulation capability. Subjects of this research attend a A kindergarten attached to the B Elementary School in K province, and the average age of this group is 63.3 months old. The group is composed of 23 preschoolers and divided into two small bodies: the experimental group and the comparative group. Two bodies have a similar family background both socially and economically. We used the ration scale for teachers in Lee Hak-seon(2007), which had been modified from preschooler's test tool for parental use in Lee Jeong-ran, Yang Ok-seung(2003). The result of this research is like following: Cooperative physical activities have more influence on the improvement of self-regulation capability in preschoolers than individual ones. Preschoolers in the group of cooperative physical activities make more meaningful differences in all the four sub-factors of self regulation capability than those in the group of individual ones: the four sub factors are ‘self-evaluation’, ‘self-determination’, ‘behavior control’, and ‘affectivity’. Of all the fours, we can see much more meaning differences in the category of the ‘behavior control’ factor. Viewing in the light of this research, we can expect that cooperative physical activities have a great influence on the self-regulation capability of preschoolers and we should apply the result to childhood education fields soon.
