        연령적 추이에 따른 습관성 흡연이 폐기능에 미치는 영향

        정해만, 윤평진, 위승두, 서영환. 연령적 추이에 따른 습관성 흡연이 폐기능에 미치는 영향. 운동과학, 제11권 제1호, 85-91, 2002. 흡연이 폐기능에 미치는 경향을 검토해보기 위하여 연령 20∼59세에 해당하는 흡연군 93명과 비흡연군 97명을 대상으로 FVC, FEV1, FEF200∼1200, FEF25∼75%, FEV1/FVC%를 측정한본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 결과가 나왔다. FVC는 각 연령군에서 전반적으로 차이가 없었으나 55∼59세의 그룹에서 흡연군이 비흡연군에 비해서 유의하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. FEV1, FEV1/FVC%와 FEF25∼75%는 50대 이후부터 흡연군에서 유의하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. FEF200∼1200은 전반적으로 모든 그룹에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았지만 55∼59세 그룹에서 흡연군이 비흡연군에 비해서 유의하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 장기간의 흡연으로 인하여 호흡근의 장력 및 폐의 탄성이 감소되었고 기도저항이 감소되었기 때문으로 사료된다. The purpose of the present study is to examine the effect of cigarette smoking on pulmonary function. We undertook analysis of 93 smokers and 97 non-smokers whose ages were from 20 to 59 years. FVC(forced vital capacity), FEV1(forced expiratory volume for 1 second), FEF200∼1200(forced expiratory flow, 200-1200 mililiters), FEF25∼75% and FEV 1/FEV% were measured with a spirometer and expressed in terms of BTPS. The followings are the results obtained from this study. Generally, their was no significant difference in FVC between smoking group and non-smoking group. But, in the age of 55-59 years, smoking group showed significant decrease compared with non-smoking group. In the ages of 50 to 54 years and 55 to 59 years, FEV1, FEV1/FVC%, FEF200∼1200 and FEF 25∼75% of smoking group were more decreased than those of non-smoking group.

      • 光州市內 家住性 바퀴에 대한 微生物學的 調査 (Ⅰ)

        Coehroachis is an infectious disease vector, and it proves to be of much importance in the public health. Considering such importance, the auther surveyed the sticking microoganisms of cockroa-ch in the housing area-habitat at Korean type house, Wine shop, Restaurant, Inn, Apar-tment. Hospital of Gwang Ju city from the 10th of Match 1978 to the 10th of May, 1978, and rested total viable bacterial conut, coliform group. Escherichia coil, sahnonella type and pathegenic staphylocecci, and have come to the following conclusions : 1. averagy total viable bacterial count by habitat was at wine shop 9.4×10^5 the maxi-mum case, at hospipal 3.4×10^5 the minimume case. 2. Cohform group positive percentage was 95.0% and each 20 samples were cohform group positive at Korean type-house, wine shop and restaurant. 3. Escherichia coli positive percentage was 15.0% and wine shop, 30.0% the maximum case, and Escherichia coli negative at apartment. 4. No salmonella type are found in the test. 5. No pathogenic staphvelcocci are found in the test.

        Cyclophosphamide가 생쥐 정소의 Leydig Cell에 미치는 영향

        This research was undertaken to determine the effect of cyclophosphamide(CP) on the Leydig cells and macrophages in the interstitial tissue of the mice(ICR strain). To evaluate how this drug could affect the these cells, during administration(200mg/kg) 1 time to 3 times at intervals of 48hrs. In the Leydig cells of the control and 1 time treated group, a number of microperoxisomes were observed interspersed among the network of smooth endoplasmic reticulum(SER) in cellular regions where the SER predominantes. Microperoxisomes were also founded in close proximity to the cell membrane. The interstitial tissue were exhibited degenerating Leydig cells but macrophages wer containd greatly increased numbers of cytoplasmic inclusion body and secondary lysosomes. In the 1 time treated group. A very small number of Leydig cells were observed, from 2 to 3 time group, but macrophages were more increased than 1 time group in number. CP thus offers a valuable opportunity to study further the interaction between Leydig cells and macrophages in the interstitial tissue. These alteration could be direct mediated by toxic effect of the drug on the interstitial tissue.

        Alkylating agent가 생쥐 정소의 Sertoli Cell에 미치는 영향

        This paper aims to probe that the effect of high dose of cyclophosphamide to the Sertoli cells of the mouse was examined by transmission electron microscope. In the normal group, Sertoli cells contact each other around the basal aspect of the seminiferous tubule, forming numerous row of tight junction, blood-testis barrier. Sertoli cells contain smooth endoplasmic reticulum, well developed Golgi comples, a number of round mitochondria and microfilament. The cytoplasmic necrosis are observed from the 1-time treated group. In the 2-times treated group, smooth endoplasmic reticulum are more developed than normal group, but cisternae are partially dilated. In the 3-times treated group, the smooth endoplasmic reticulum are not developed. In the 2-times treated group, the inner membrane of the mitochondria are partially disrupted, and cristae are all disrupted in the 3-times treated group. The microfilaments are not observed in the all treated groups. According to the results above, it seems that smooth endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, and microfilament are disrupted by toxic effects of the cyclosphamide to the Sertoli cells of the mouse.

        한국인 아동 측방 영구치군의 맹출속도 및 시기에 관한 연구

        This study was done to observe the changes in calcification and eruption rates and sepuence and eruption timing of developing buccal permanent teeth. For that purpose, 35 male and 36 famale subjects who have no significant mechanical interference in erupting path were selected. Then orthopantomographs were taken with 6 months interval. Comparative study was done and the following results were obtained : 1. There was no upgrade on the stage of calclfication. 2. On the eruption rate, the greatest change was seen at the stage of two thirds of root completed. 3. The chrohologic ages that arrived each calcification stage were advanced in female subjects than male ones. 4. The seqence of eruption was first premolar, canine, seclond premolar in male both on maxila and mandible, but in female, first premolar, canine, second premolar on maxilla, and canine, first premolar, second premolar on mandible.

        냉장 우육내의 미생물의 분포

        Isolation and identification of mesophilic and psychrotrophic bacteria distributed in Korean refrigerated beef were attempted. Total isolated colonies were 192, and identified as 5 genera and 10 species. Among them, mesophilic bacteria were Enterobacter aerogenes, E. agglomerans, Serratia liquefaciens, Proteus mirabilis, and "psychrotrophic" bacteria were Pseudomons fluorescens, P. putida, P. pickettii, P. mendocina, P. stutzeri, Alcaligenes faecalis. Dominant species was Serratia liquefaciens as mesophiles, and Pseudomonas putida as psychrotroph.chrotroph.

        자외선에의한 냉장우육의 저장효과

        Effects of Ultraviolet ray(253.7㎚/10watts) irradiation on microbial spoilage of chilled beef were studied during aerobic storage at 4℃ for 11 days. The Ultraviolet ray irradiation on chilled beef reduced the initial number of microorganism to 1.5×10^3 cells/㎠, 8.4×10^2㎠, 3.0×10^2 cells/㎠ and 1.1×10^2 cells/㎠ for 1 min, 5 min, 10 min and 20 min irradiation, respectively. Lag period of microorganis on chilled beef was for 1 day with 1 min irradiation and for 2 days with more than 5 min irradiated group. Once they reached to the exponential growth phase, there was no difference in growth rate between control group and irradiated groups. The off-odor was developed at the same day in the control group but it was developed later in the irradiated group than the control group. The pH of off-odor development samples were 5∼7 and the number of microorganisms were 9.0×10^6 ∼ 1.8×10^7 cells/㎠. The slime material was produced 2 days later than control group regardless the amount of ultraviolet ray irradiation.
