Since the interior shape of a pressure regulator is complex, the change of the flow characteristics aduring the valve closing process may be not usual. So, we have carried numerical simulations with the CFD method to clarify the unsteady-state flow-characteristics during the valve closing process. As the result, we have understood the pressure regulating mechanism in detail, examined the possibility of the erosion at the downward walls after the PCV and investigated to satisfy the hydrocarbon dew point and water dew point standard to prevent problems of condensation or problems of freezing in pipelines in each opening ratio during the valve closing process. Futhermore, we have surveyed the occurring of the surge effects and studied the characteristics of the wave propagation after the valve closing.

In large power system, design margin makes relatively price higher. So, optimal design through exact analysis of thermal behavior is needed. In this paper, we propose the equivalent load test facility using two inverter & converter system and inductors. Applying actual electrical profiles for motor drive, thermal characteristics of power converter fed AC motor drive are obtained, and the results are compared with simulation results.
