Acid protease produced from Aspergillus tubingensis was pruified by ethanol fractionation, dialysis, and DEAE cellulose column chromatography. As a result of purification its specific activity increased to 5.4 times, and percent recovery was 39. The kinetic constants of the enzyme were studied. Km and Vmax was $1.5{\times}10^{-7}M\;and\;0.11{\Delta}O.D/min$ , respectively, when casein was used as substrate. The order of Km value of several proteins is : casein<hemolobin<BSA<cytochrome C, and that of Vmax is : myoglobin<casein<hemoglobin<BSA<cytochrome C. In case of BSA, substrate inhibition pattern was found. The enzyme was remarkably inhibited by EPNP, TPCK and NBS which inhibit carboxyl and tryptophan groups in the active site, and this property is similar with that of pepsin. The results of inhibition study show that carboxyl group of aspartic acid or glutamic acid takes roll in neucleophilic attack to peptide bond, and tryptophan group is involved in the binding site.

Weft straightener is an important process to control the final quality of the fabrics. It is needed to calibrate the distorted weft after dyeing process. During various fabric treatment processes, the fabric is almost done with heat treatment through a tenter machine. At this time, weft distortion is occurred with uneven tension distribution. Traditionally, photo sensor is commonly used to detect the weft distortion but it is not applicable for special fabric types such as twill, mesh, combi, etc. In this paper, a new method for detecting the weft distortion using camera is introduced. A new weft straightener simulator is also developed to test the ability of the proposed method. It is shown that the method can be applied for various fabric types.
국내 양돈장의 사육 온도와 밀사율이 구강액 채취율에 미치는 영향

We investigated the effect of temperature and stock density on the collection efficiency of oral fluid in the pig farm in Korea. Three pig farms with similar breeding environmental conditions were selected and four pens of each farm (total 12 pens) were tested for the collection efficiency of oral fluid from pigs. Collection rate was considered as significant when oral fluid was collected from 70% of pigs within a pen. In the case of growing pigs, when internal temperature of pig barn increased by one designated degree (5℃), the oral fluid collection rate significantly decreased by 24.7% (P<0.05). The collection rate of oral fluid also decreased by 7.1% (P<0.05) as the density rate increase by one designated degree (12.5%). It was estimated that the collection efficiency of oral fluid decreased when the internal temperature of pig barn was 30℃ or higher, or barn density is higher 25% or high. On the other hand, in the case of stall-housing sows, unlike growing pigs, there was no significant differences according to the temperature, so oral fluid collection was considered to be efficient even in hot season.

To investigate the structure of the forest vegetation of Mt. Joryong recreation forest area in Chungbuk district, fourteen plots of natural forest and two plots of artificial forest were set up. As the result of classification and ordination analysis the study area was divided into four proups. which were Larix leptolepis community, Quercus mongolitca community. Quercus ariena community, Pinus rigida community. species diversity indices range of each communitiy was 0.7902~1.4192, Quercus aliena community showed the highest value and Larix leptolepis community showed the lowest value among the communities. The similarity indices range of each community was 25.77~57.45%, between Quercus monglica community and Quercus aliena community showed the highest value while Quercus aliena community and Larix leptolepis community showed the lowest value among the communities. The comparision of site quality index of Mt. Joryong recreation forest area with nationwide, Larix leptolepis, Pinus densiflora, Quercus mongolica, and Qugrcus altena estimated average site quality index while Pinus rigida showed below the average of nationwide was caused by high stem dencity.
