      • 접착성 레진 시멘트를 이용한 주조관의 피막후경과 유지력에 관한 연구

        This study was performed to investigate the availability of adhesive resin cement for luting agent of cast crown. The resin cements used in this study were Panavia-Ex(Kuraray Co., Japan) and C&B-Metabond (Parkell Bio- Materials U.SA.). Zinc phosphate cement was Flecks zinc cement(Mizzy Inc., USA). The film thickness of cast crown at gingival margin, lateral wall and occlusal surface was observed with measuring microscope(Modek MXT 70 Matsuzawa Seiki Co., Japan) and the retention of cast crown was measured with Instron Universal Test Machine (Instron Engineering Co., U.SA). The results were as follows 1. The value of retention of cast crown was the highest in the use of Panavia-EX, followed by C&B-Metabond and zinc phosphate cement, respectively. 2. There was no difference in film thickness among the three cements, but the film thickness in all cements was highest at occlusal surface.

        This study was performed to investigate the effects of tooth mobility and design of the direct retainer on the stress of supporting tissues in distal extension removable partial denture. Tooth mobility was simulated and four different types of direct retainer such as Akers clasp, I-bar clasp, wrought wire clasp, and Dalbo attachment were designed and stress on the supporting tissues were measured and analyzed with straingauge method. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. 1. The stress revealed at the lingual side of alveolar bone of the abutment tooth in edentulous area was the largest. 2. The stress at the lingual side of alveolar bone of the abutment tooth in edentulous area was increased according to the increase of tooth mobility in I-bar clasp and Dalbo attachment. 3. The stress at the residual ridge crest was the great in Dalbo attachment on mobility 0, in I-bar clasp on mobility 1, and in wrought wire clasp on mobility 2. 4. There was little changes of stress according to the increase of tooth mobility at buccal and lingual side of the residual ridge crest and around the abutment teeth in dentulous area.

        레진치와 의치상 레진간의 전단 결합강도에 관한 연구

        The bond failure of resin teeth In denture base resin is one of the failure in prosthodontic treatment. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bond strength of artificial resin teeth to the denture base resins. Specimens were made with heat curing acrylic resins (Vertex Rs, Lucitone 199) and artificial resin teeth (Tiger, Trubyte biotone, Endura, Orthosit, Tubyte bioform IPN) and the bond strength were measured with testing machine(Zwick. Germany) and the mode of bond failure were observed. The results were as follows; 1. The bond strength of Vertex Rs to artificial resin teeth was the highest in Tubyte biotone, and It was the lowest in Tiger and Trubyte bioform IPN. 2. The bond strength of Lucitone 199 to artificial resin teeth were higher in Orthosit and Trubyte bioform IPN than in Tiger and Trubyte biotone. 3. The bond strength of Trubyte biotone to Vertex Rs was higher than to Lucitone 199 and that of the Trubyte bioform IPN to Lucitone 199 was higher than to Vertex Rs. 4. Nearly all bond failures of specimens occured cohesively within the resin teeth.

        측방유도형태 및 저작습관이 저작근 활성도 및 교합접촉에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to investigate the influence of lateral guidance pattern and chewing pattern on masticatory muscle activity and occlusal contact pattern. Twenty-five patients with temporomandibular disorders and thirty students without temporomandibular disorders were selected for this study. Electromyographic examination and occlusal contact examination were performed simultaneously with Bio-Pak System (Bioresearch Inc.,U.S.A.) and T-Scan System(Tekscan Co., USA). The obtained results were as follows : 1. The EMG activity of masseter and anterior temporal muscle in patient group with canine guidance was higher than with non-canine guidance. but there was no significant difference (p>0.05). 2. The EMG activity of anterior temporal muscle in normal group with non-canine guidance was higher at preferred chewing side than at opposite side (p<0.05). 3. The EMG activity of masseter muscle was higher in normal group than in patient group (p<0.05). 4. The number of occlusal contact in patient group with canine guidance was higher than with non-canine guidance, but there was no significant difference (p>0.05). 5. The occlusal contact force at preferred chewing side was higher in patient group than in normal group(p<0.05).

        Si(100)에 이온 주입 시 에너지, 조사량과 빔 전류에 따른 면저항의 변화

        이온을 Si(100) 기판에 주입할 때 조사량과 에너지, 빔 전류가 면저항에 영향을 미치는 원인을 규명하기 위해 여러 연구자가 행하였던 실험과 동일한 조건으로 Crystal TRIM 프로그램을 이용하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 실행하였다. 주입한 $As^+$이온의 조사량을 $1{\times}10^{15}/cm^2$로 일정하게 하고 에너지를 5, 10, 15 keV로 변화시켜 계산한 결과 에너지가 커질수록 Rp값은 표면에서 깊어지는 반면에, 표면근방에 축적되는 격자손상은 증가하였다. 20keV의 B+이온을 $5{\times}10^{15}/cm^2$의 동일한 조사량으로 1mA와 7 mA의 빔 전류에 해당하는 값을 이용하여 계산한 결과 빔 전류가 커질수록 표면근방 100 nm 이내에서 격자손상이 증가하였다. 20 keV의 일정한 에너지로 B+이온을 $1{\times}10^{15}$, $3{\times}10^{15}/cm^2$ 조사량과 0.8 mA와 8 mA의 빔 전류로 각각 계산한 결과 조사량이 많아질수록, 빔 전류가 커질수록 표면 근방에 축적되는 격자손상의 양이 증가하였다. 이러한 에너지, 조사량과 빔 전류증가에 의한 시료표면의 격자손상 증가는 시료표면의 면저항을 감소시킨다. Simulations were performed using Crystal TRIM software under the same conditions used by previous researchers in order to clarify the mechanism that determines sheet resistance various doses, energies and beam currents. The results showed that the peak of the depth profile (Rp) in the same sample gradually shifts inward and damage increases near the surface as the energy increases for $As^+$ equal dose of $1{\times}10^{15}/cm^2$ implanted into Si(100) energies of 5, 10, and 15 keV. From a theoretical calculation of B+ ion implantation processes at energy of 20 keV using parameters that correspond to 1 mA and 7 mA beam currents with the same dose of $5{\times}10^{15}/cm^2$, it was found that the higher beam currents resulted in more damage near the surface (<100 nm). Likewise, In the simulations employing sets of doses ($1{\times}10^{15}$, $3{\times}10^{15}/cm^2$) and beam currents (0.8 mA, 8 mA), more damage was produced at larger doses and higher current. Thus, sheet resistance at the surface was reduced by the intensified damage from increases in beam energy, dose and beam currents.

        편측 후방 치아 잔존시 의치 설계에 따른 지대치지지 조직과 잔존 치조제의 응력 분석에 관한 연구

        This study was peformed to investigate the distribution and magnitude of stress at supporting tissue of abutment teeth and residual ridge tissue with remaining unilateral posterior teeth. Four types of removable partial dentures that included clasp retained removable partial denture, attachment retained removable partial denture, telescopic removable partial denture, and swing-lock partial denture were designed, and strain gauge was used for stress analysis. Each prosthesis was subjected to simulated vertical and oblique load. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. 1. The clasp retained removable partial denture generally distributed simulated vertical force more evenly to the supporting structure. 2. The stress at buccal side of 1st premolar was the lowest in swing-lock partial denture and that was highest in attchment retained removable partial denture. The stress at lingual side of 1st premolar was the lowest in telescopic partial denture. 3. In clasp retained removable partial denture, stress was lower at load site and ridge crest at mid-line, but it was higher at 1st premolar area on vertical load. 4. In attachment removable partial denture, stresses at buccal side of 1st premolar. lingual side of 1st premolar on vertical load, and ridge crest at midline on oblique load were higher. 5. In telescopic removable partial denture, stress at lingual side of 1st premolar was the least in all removable partial dentures, but the stress at load site was higher. 6. In swing-lock removable partial denture, stress at buccal side of 1st premolar was the lowest, and stresses at load site and distal end of residual ridge crest were higher.
