A vehicle dynamic analysis program AutoDyn7(Automobile Dynamics in G7) is developed in the G7 project. The AutoDyn7 program has several user-friendly subroutines, i.e., suspension module, road module, and leaf spring module. In this paper, the general structure and usage of the program are explained with several examples.<br/>

Modeling and simulation of multibody systems in engineering fields becomes a standard and essential step in a design procedure. In vehicle dynamics. the modeling technique is important to achieve the computational efficiency and accuracy. When components with very small masses and great forces are contained in the modeling. the frequencies of the components become high. As a result. the efficiency of the simulation could be decreased. If effects of small masses can be ignored in the system. the simulation will be carried efficiently by eliminating the high frequency components of the motion. In this paper. a massless link concept which only considers kinematic relations of bodies is combined with force elements. The idea is explained and tested using several examples.
드럼 세탁기 Spider의 피로수명 신뢰성 평가에 대한 연구

The spider of a drum washing machine receives the repeated fatigue loadings during laundering. Although the spider is designed statically safely, it often happens fatigue failure. Therefore it requires the safe design for fatigue and needs the prediction of quantitative fatigue life. The S-N diagram for a spider material is developed by fatigue test and statistical analysis. The stresses are measured directly from strain gages on the spider. To predict the fatigue life of spider, the rainflow counting method and Miner"s rule are used. The data for fatigue life are analyzed statistically. From these data, reliability estimation for fatigue life can be done and also, equivalent fatigue life can be obtained. It will be applied to make and improve to a short period for design and prototype test.

In this paper, the magic formula model was applied for a friction damper in a drum-type washing machine. To describe characteristics of the hysteretic damping force, Physical tests were first carried out to get experimental results using an MTS machine. Then, parameters for the magic formula model were determined from the experimental curves. The ADAMS and MATLAB programs were used for the multibody modeling of the damper and process for parameter identification. The model of drum-type washing machine was applied for a dynamic model of friction damper, in which the accuracy of the proposed damper model was verified.
