.In this paper, a dynamic analysis of a passenger car is carried out to extract the force data in the suspension system. The AUTODYN7(AUTOmobile DYNamics in G7) program, which is a special program for the automobile dynamics developed at CAE Lab in PNU, is employed for the computer simulation. The forces exerting at the suspension springs and dampers are calculated from the following scenarios. (1) Moving over a single bump (2) Lane change.<br/>

A vehicle dynamic analysis program AutoDyn7(Automobile Dynamics in G7) is developed in the G7 project. The AutoDyn7 program has several user-friendly subroutines, i.e., suspension module, road module, and leaf spring module. In this paper, the general structure and usage of the program are explained with several examples.<br/>

In this study, a real-time compute program for a wheel-type excavator is developed. Since the full model of a wheel excavator is difficult to perform a real-time dynamic anaysis, a simplified model is introduced.<br/> The velocity transformatiom method which satisfies both efficency of relative coordinates and generality of cartesian coordinates is used to derive the equations of motion.<br/> To calculate the tire force, UA tire model is used.

A vehicle dynamic analysis program AutoDyn7 (Automobile Dynamics in G7) is developed during the G7 project with respect to "development of integrated software for the chassis system design and analysis"<br/> In this paper, computer simulations of the selected vehicle maneuver are performed using AutoDyn7 S/W. Simulation results are compared with the results of driving tests with experimental handling vehicle for validation and evaluation of the developed S/W AutoDyn7. It is expected that the vehicle dynamic analysis program AutoDyn7 is effectively applicable to design and analysis the chassis system in the early design stage of vehicle development.<br/>

An intermediate processor has been developed to enable flexible body vehicle dynamic analysis by interfacing between a commercial finite element program ANSYS and a vehicle dynamics program AUTODYN7. The program carries out inertia relief computation for the static correction mode and diagonalizes consistent mass matrix in order to provide lumped mass entries and lumped rotary inertia entries to the flexible body equations of motion. Using DADS IP program, the developed program has been verified. The capabilities of the program have been proved by the DADS Jeep simulation.<br/>
