Objectives: To evaluate the degree of satisfaction about a specialized treatment type smoking cessation camp conducted by a Korean medicine hospital. Methods: The subjects of this study were 112 patients who enrolled smoking cessation camp from September 2015 to December 2017 at ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ Korean medicine hospital of ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ University. Patients received Korean medical treatment, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, counseling, education, stretching, hand and foot baths, and hiking. Each patient filled in a satisfaction survey after completion of the camp. Results: Drug satisfaction of the nicotine patch was $8.0{\pm}1.9$ points, nicotine gum was $7.5{\pm}2.6$ points, Cheongpye-tang was $7.8{\pm}2.5$ points, and Bopye-tang was $7.6{\pm}2.8$ points. Acupuncture was the most favorable treatment among the 12 programs, followed by education and herbal medicine. Confidence after the camp was $8.8{\pm}1.4$ points compared to $6.6{\pm}2.4$ points before the camp. An appropriate period for the camp was 7 days (40%). Conclusions: After participating in the smoking cessation camp, most patients feel considerable satisfaction. Further study is required.

Objectives : This study aimed to evaluate the randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) analyzing the effectiveness of Chuna manual therapy (CMT) for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods : Among the literature published until May 2020, a literature search was carried out using 10 electronic databases using related keywords to identify all RCTs that applied CMT for the treatment of BPH. The Cochrane risk of bias tool was used to assess the methodological quality of each RCT. Results : Five RCTs met our inclusion criteria and were included in the analysis. These studies showed that CMT had no positive results compared to herbal medication. However, positive results were shown in terms of an increased efficacy rate, reduced international prostate symptom scores, and increased maximum flow rate when CMT was combined with acupuncture or herbal medication. Conclusions : Based on the analysis, this review has limited evidence of CMT being beneficial in the treatment of BPH. Therefore, further investigation is required using well-designed RCTs to support the effectiveness of CMT and to obtain higher evidence.

Objectives : This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of manual therapy for wrist pain. Methods : We searched electronic databases (PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, CAJ, KISS, RISS, NDSL, OASIS, and KMBASE) for randomized controlled trials for manual therapy as a treatment for wrist pain. Results : A total of 9 randomized controlled trials were selected and meta-analysis was conducted on 6 studies. Three studies with different design of the intervention/control group were excluded from the meta-analysis. A high risk of bias was observed for both performance bias and detection bias. Conclusions : Our systematic review verified the clinical effect of manual therapy on wrist pain. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that clinical studies on wrist diseases and high-level follow-up studies will be conducted.

Objectives This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of manual therapy on constipation in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Methods We searched electronic databases (PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, CAJ, KISS, KISTI, KMBASE, NDSL, OASIS, and RISS) for randomized controlled trials for manual therapy on constipation in patients with Parkinson s disease. Results Three randomized controlled trials were selected from the online database. One study demonstrated that manual therapy had positive results compared to routine nursing care with western medication. However, two studies demonstrated that manual therapy had no positive results compared to routine nursing care with western medication or western medication when used alone. Conclusions Our systematic review did not verify the clinical effect of manual therapy on constipation in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Thus, more high-quality studies are needed to verify the effectiveness of manual therapy for constipation in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
