This paper proposes an algorithm of CAD data extraction for the computer controlled marking system. In general, logo has been directly designed at the marking controller, but that is not an effective method because of the very limited working area. In this paper, for the data extraction we used a general PC and Auto CAD for logo design, and developed the software with GUI(Graphic User Interface) method. Then the data is transferred to the marking controller for marking on the object. With experimental result we showed the proposed algorithm to be very effective in the computer controlled marking system.

In this paper, we propose a new data encoding algorithm for a two-dimensional bar code system. In general, the one-dimensional bar code is just a key which can access detailed information to the host computer database. But the two-dimensional bar code is a new technology which can obtain high density information without access to the host computer database. We implemented the encoding algorithm for Data Matrix bar code which is the most widely used among the many kinds of two-dimensional bar codes in the field of marking using Digital Signal Processor (TMS320C31). The performance of the proposed algorithm is verified by comparing the imprinted symbols on the steel surfaces with the codes which are decoded by a bar code reader.

- In this paper we propose a new watermarking scheme using a data matrix and a cryptograph key. The data matrix of two-dimensional bar codes is a new technology capable of holding relatively large amounts of data compared to the conventional one-dimensional bar code. And a cryptograph key is used to prevent a watermark from malicious attacks. We encoded the copyright information into a data matrix bar code, and it was spread as a pseudo random pattern using the owner key. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme has good quality and is robust to various attacks, such as JPEG compression, filtering and resizing. Also the performance of the proposed scheme is verified by comparing the copyright information with the information which is extracted from the watermark.

최근 위치정보기술이 활성화됨에 따라 최신 지리정보에 대한 국민적 요구 및 관심이 날로 증가하고 있다. 또한 도로중심의 지리정보에 대한 접근이 용이하며 경제적인 이동체기반의 공간정보 획득기술의 발달로 영상과 공간정보가 결합된 웹 서비스를 쉽게 접할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이동체기반의 공간정보 획득시스템으로 획득된 영상정보에 정확한 위치정보를 시각동기화하여 매핑하기 위해 획득된 프레임별로 위치데이터를 선형보간법을 이용하여 보간함으로써, 획득된 영상에 대한 위치정보의 정확도를 높일 수 있었다.

The Data Matrix of two-dimensional bar codes is a new techNoogy capable of holding relatively large amounts of data compared to the conventional one-dimensional bar code which is just a key that can access detailed information to the host computer database. A secret key is used to prevent a watermark from malicious attacks. We encoded copyright information into a Data Matrix bar code for encoding process and it was spread a pseudo random pattern using owner key. We embedded a randomized watermark into the image using watermark's embedding position, pattern generated with a secret key. The experimental results have shown that the proposed scheme has good quality and is very robust to various attacks, such as JPEG compression and noise. Also the performance of the proposed scheme is verified by comparing the copyright information with the information which is extracted from a bar code scanner.

CPLD를 이용한 2상 스테핑 모터 드라이버의 성능개선

This paper describes the design of a 2-phase stepping motor driver using CPLD. The driver IC such as L297, which is mostly used has some difficulties in PWM current control because of the switching noise of power MOSFETs. The switching noise causes current ripple and acoustic noise. To reduce the switching noise, we designed a digital filter using VHDL. Also we designed constant current method for 1-2 phase(half step) excitation to reduce the torque ripple. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method. It is enabling further enhancements of stepping motor drive technology, broadening the range of applications for the stepping motors.
