In this paper, by modeling the Multilayer-Multiconductor Transmission Line(MMTL) with the characteristic parameters-effective dielectric constant, eigen modal voltages, characteristic impedances at each mode, pulse propagation characteristics of MMTL network are simulated. Transmission line modelling is performed in frequency domain, then time domain resposes are obtained by transforming the frequency domain response using fast Fourier transform.

In this paper, a four-pole quasi-elliptic function bandpass filter of 1.95 GHz center frequency with 60 MHz bandwidth for IMT-2000 is designed and fabricated using the compact microstrip resonator. The proposed resonator consists of microstrip interdigital circuit between open stub or open gap, which results in compact size as well as the suppression of harmonic. Bandpass filter using this resonator shows good microwave characteristic with the harmonic suppression about -15 dB at 6.5 GHz. The results of measurement are almost similar to those of simulation.

This paper deals with manufacturing and sheet resistance measurement of Al-coated glass fiber. Metal-coated glass fiber(MGF) composites have the conductivity different to general glass fiber. Because of having high conductivity, metal coated glass fiber have being studied for using as material for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. In this paper, manufacturing and sheet resistance measurement methods of metal-coated glass fiber are introduced. Electric resistance of the composites was tested using a 4-point-probe electric resistivity tester. As sample measured result, the sheet resistance of the specimen was very good 1.575x10-3[Ω/sq]. This result indicated that Al-coated glass fiber can be good material for EMI shielding.
