      • 成犬의 上顎急速側方擴大後 正中口蓋縫合線 周圍組織의 變化

        著者는 成犬의 上顎骨을 急速側方擴大하여 最終擴大 1 日後, 2주, 8주保定後 軟組織을 포함한 上顎口蓋部의 脫灰標本을 製作하여 光學顯微鏡으로 관찰한 결과를 다음과 같이 要約할 수 있었다. 最終擴大 1 日後 正中口蓋縫合部가 크게 離開되어 膠原纖維는 擴大方向으로 견인되어 배열되었고 2주 保定에서 針狀의 骨형성이 진행되었으며 8주 保定에서 離開된 縫合部는 新生骨의 형성으로 현저히 협소해져 對照犬과 유사한 양상을 보였다. 最終擴大 1 日後 正中口蓋縫合周圍의 粘膜纖維가 불규칙상을 보이며 擴大된 방향으로 견인되어 있었고, 血管은 軟組織의 張力으로 인해 타원형의 양상을 보였다. 8주 保定에서 膠原纖維의 배열은 對照犬과 유사하게 整然性을 회복하고 血管의 형태도 점차 회복되어 圓形에 가까왔다. 齒槽部에서는 最終擴大 1 日後 口蓋側에서 膠原纖維의 견인과 頰側의 齒槽骨에서 破骨細胞에 의한 吸收像을 나타내었으며 保定期間의 경과에 따라 점차 回復되어 8주 保定에서 對照犬과 유사한 양상을 나타내었다. The purpose of this experimental study was to observe the histomorphological changes of the surrounding tissue of the midpalatal suture during retention following rapid maxillary expansion. Four mongrel dogs were divided into four groups: control, no-retention, two and eight weeks retention. Each of the experimental and control animals was sacrified on the no-retention, two and eight weeks retention after rapid maxillary expansion and maxilla was resected. To observe with light microscope was made de calcified specimens. The results were as follows: One day after rapid maxillary expansion, midpalatal suture was separated and the bundles of collagen fiber were stretched toward expanded direction. On the two weeks retention after rapid maxillary expansion, the separated space of the midpalatal suture was reapired with new bone of spicule type. Areas of the midpalatal suture were back to the state of control group after eight weeks retention. In the surrounding soft tissue of the expanded palatal suture, the bundles of collagen fiber were irregularly arranged, stretched toward expanded directions one day after rapid maxillary expansion, back to the state of control group after eight weeks retention. At the alveolar regions, the bundles of collagen fiber were stretched in the palatal side and bone resorption by osteoclasts was observed in the buccal side. But it was replaced with the bone depository process in the eight weeks retention. It is proved histologically that strain given to palatal soft tissue by rapid expansion is removed gradually during retention period with remodeling in bone and fiber.

        대구지역(大邱地域) 지각(地殼) ${\gamma}$-선(線)의 조사선량율(照射線量率) 측정(測定)

        This study concerns about the measurement and the investigation of environmental radiation characteristics which the components and the distribution of exposure rates by terrestrial y-rays in Taegu area. $4^{'}{\phi}{\times}4^{'}$ NaI(T1) scintillation detector with a multichannel analyzer was used in the measurement of y-rays as a part of in-situ spectrometry at twenty eight different locations in this area. The conversion into the exposure rate from the measured ${\gamma}-ray$ spectrum has been carried out leading to a net exposure rate and component ones by $^{40}K,\;^{238}U$ series and $^{232}Th$ series products which are known by the major parts in the terrestrial ${\gamma}-rays$ generally. As a result, the average exposure rate by the terrestrial ${\gamma}-rays$ in Taegu area is $9.4{\mu}R/h$ and the distribution of individual exposure rates shows more or less differences between these locations even after the consideration of diurnal and yearly variations which are always involved in these measurements. The component parts of exposure rates are distributed $^{40}K\;2.9{\sim}4.6{\mu}R/h,\;^{238}U$ series $1.2{\sim}3,\;1{\mu}R/h,\;^{232}Th$ series $2.5{\sim}5.0{\mu}R/h$ over the measured locations. 본 연구는 대구지역의 지각 ${\gamma}$-선에 의한 조사선량율을 측정하고 그에 따른 성분별 공간선량율 및 지역적 분포 등의 환경방사선 특성을 조사하였다. ${\gamma}$-선 스펙트럼의 측정에는 $4^{'}{\phi}{\times}4^{'}$ NaI(T1) 계측기와 휴대용 다중파고분석장치를 이용하여 이 지역내의 28개 지점에서 in-situ spectrometry를 수행하였으며, 측정된 스펙트럼으로부터 조사선량율을 환산하여 지각 ${\gamma}$-선의 총선량율과 일반적으로 자연방사능의 주종이 되는 $^{40}K,\;^{238}U$ 계열 및 $^{232}Th$계열의 성분별 조사 선량율을 구하였다. 조사결과 대구지역의 지각 ${\gamma}$-선에 의한 평균조사선량율은 $9.4{\mu}R/h$였으며 지점별 분포는 $7.6{\sim}11.0{\mu}R/h$ 범위로 다소 차이를 보였다. 측정시에 수반되는 기후나 우주선 등에 따른 일 변화폭을 고려한다면 지점간의 차이는 주로 표토층의 자연방사성핵종인 $^{40}K,\;^{238}U$계열 및 $^{232}Th$ 계열의 핵종에 기인함을 알 수 있었으며, 성분별 선량율은 $^{40}K\;2.9{\sim}4.6{\mu}R/h,\;^{238}U$ 계열 $1.2{\sim}3,\;1{\mu}R/h,\;^{232}Th$ 계열 $2.5{\sim}5.0{\mu}R/h$의 분포를 나타냈다.

        TiN피막 처리된 교정 장치물의 마찰 저항력에 관한 비교연구

        To estimate the possibility in the application of TiN ion-plating to the orthodontic appliance, this study investigated frictional force and frictional coefficient between non-ionplated and TiN ion-plated to the orthodontic appliance. The obtained results were as follows: 1. For each group, the frictional force between metal bracket and arch wire in the wet condition was exhibited lower than that in the dry condition. 2. In the dry condition, the frictional force was lowest with fourth group, and it increased in the order of the 3rd, 1st, and 2nd group. Same situation happened in the wet condition. 3. Experimental results using ceramic & plastic bracket showed that group B was lower than group A, and group D was similar to group C. 4. The surface texture after experiment showed that the scratch due to a friction with bracket was observed in an arch wire of dry contition. Also the surface of bracket was rougher than before. 5. We observed that a specimen surface processed with the TiN ion plating was smoother than that of without the TiN ion plating. 6. The surface texture of a metal bracket and an arch wire in the wet condition was observed smoother than that in the dry condition. 7. In the dry condition, the friction coefficient of each specimen was very similar to each other, but in the wet condition, the friction coefficient of specimen processed with the TiN ion plating showed lower values.

        大邱地域 地殼 γ-線의 照射線量率 測定

        This paper reports investigation into the factors that influence the transient behavior of the wind power generation system following network fault conditions. It is shown that the critical clearing time (CCT) can be affected by various factors contributed by the host network. Such factors include capacity of wind power, power factor, the length of the interfacing line, etc. This investigation is conducted on a simulated grid-connected wind farm using Digsilent Power Factory.
